I am still getting used to these devices, but it was recommended that I try to find new ways to socialise outside of school.

My name is Wanda, I am a student, I have recently been relocated to America in the last few years and meeting new people would be rather nice.

I may start adopting cats if I do not find something to do with myself.

Don'd do that, cats are assholes. It's much better to adopt real people. I mean, hey, they can still be assholes. But people don't rely on you for everything and hang around you 24/7, knocking your nice things around and demanding your attention.

Unless they're me.

I am not sure I could afford to adopt a person. Unless there's little to no extra financial responsibility for them.

Sometimes adopting a person is just about getting their number and checking in on them to make sure they actually got home safe and aren't drunk dialing their ex. That's a pretty small financial responsibility.

I have been known to do obnoxious things to get people's attention, it's true.

Hey Wanda :) I'm Padmé. I've lived here my whole life, and tend to be pretty active outdoors. If you ever want to go hiking, surfing, swimming, etc, I'd be happy to go with you.

Hello Padmé, I have to say, I've never surfed. It was never warm enough where I lived to frolic in water. But I think I would like hiking, are there areas that are good for novices?

There's lots of trails both in and around the OC. You said you're in school, so you're probably only free weekends? I'd love to have a hiking buddy!

I was, for a long time. And now that I am at college it is hard to work out how to make friends. My teachers want me to try to make friends outside of class.

I don't think they know how hard it can be sometimes.

I am something of an international relocation, myself! Originally from Switzerland, and I do miss it, though I was barely there the past few years. My work tends to take me to various field camps.

Travelling is nice though, is it not? You get to see so many places, experience so many things. I used to travel a lot. I never got to see Switzerland though.

I'm studying molecular biology with a small course in molecular engineering. I don't mind at all, either. What is it you do?
