Okay, so my little Moroccan-themed house is currently a mess because the Dream Fairies decided to literally take a book-shit in my space and dump a whole library's worth there. So many spellbooks and everything and anything related to the occult and mysticism. Who out there is a fellow friend of the hocus pocus and wants to come over and help me sort and organize into an actual library? I'll even order pizza. Or Chinese food, just no dark meat. Or white meat.

There's really no fathoming how much I hate Valentine's Day.

So I've been seeing a load of stuff about crazy dreams. Past lives, or some of that sort of rubbish. I never much bothered paying attention to anything on here until recently when my job became so soul rending I needed to reach out for friends, is that pathetic? Yeah, kind of is.

Is this something that happens to everyone? It seems like it from what I've been reading, but it sounds fuckin' mad to me. Any theories from those of us that, like me, still have a full grasp on reality? I personally can't decide if I believe what these people say, or if I'm just lucky I drink bottled water rather than anything from the tap.

Despite having lived in America for some time now, it never ceases to surprise me how seriously Americans take their various holidays. No sooner have we finished with Christmas, than Valentines decorations are ushered out in its place.

I am looking forward to the lull between Fourth of July and Halloween. At least there will be no gaudy decorations for a few months, then.

I have also slept with half the local high school's football team, Azula and Ty Lee at once, Jim Kirk, The President, and three of the people working at my father's office. Including his Secretary.

I know I'm probably going to get a lot of eyerolls for saying it, but Jennifer Lopez's new fall line is really gorgeous. I keep buying more items and I didn't even realize I was doing it. Yesterday when Finnick and I went out to dinner I was wearing Jennifer Lopez from head to toe. She has these really cute black or white chiffon wide-leg palazzo pants that I bought in black and they are basically my new favorite thing. They look like a skirt when you're standing still, but when you move it's easy to tell they're pants. So, it's like wearing a long fancy skirt, but with the movement and freedom of pants. I'm in love.

I feel like I should mention that Lauren Conrad's fall line is really pretty too. I bought a couple of her tops and a cute new maroon blazer.

But I mean... If people like Jennifer Lopez and Lauren Conrad can make cute fall lines then wouldn't it be safe to assume that I could too?

The paper edition of that trash has mysteriously been spontaneously combusting. I wonder why that is. BURNBURNBURNBURNBURN

Zuko has a temper, but he has never, in my lifetime, directed that anger towards me. He's never punched me, hurt me, or otherwise abused me. He is, in fact, among the people in my life that never treated me like chattel or someone to marry off to the highest bidder.

I know women in these situations have a habit of declaring publicly that nothing is wrong, but there's an incident report on file here at the hotel. Everyone here knows I really did get drunk, fall, and hit my head. The only person to blame here is myself.

Oi, Haymitch the Cynic checking in again, or at least that is what some people will call me after this. Every person that does, be prepared to buy me a drink. Maybe it's being around all these Brits and the Olympic stuff but did you know we are one of the few governments that actually PAY these brats to win? Michael Phelp's golden performance in Beijing netted him over $200,000 dollars. That cute little gymnast is up over $50,000 already. Great to know my money is going to such great use.

I feel like one of those annoying investigative journalist and it's not even a secret. What happened to encouraging athletes to participate for the love of their sport not so we can pay them for their medals and then shower them in millions of dollars of endorsements so they can go smoke pot like Phelps, go back to the Olympics, and we have to pay them even more. And they wonder why people cheat?

Think that's bad? No wonder those Russian gymnasts are bawling all the time. That one girl who missed two golds medals, was out almost $400,000 dollars because of a few millionths of a point. I'd be crying too. There's your freaking school lesson for the day children. Now who's buying me that first drink?
