Finally my apartment does not seem so empty. I found myself a cat to keep me company, because I miss the ones I had to leave behind in Germany. His name is Fritz. If you would like to meet him, you can. We're very happy together.

I need all my friends who want me to make wedding attire for them to come by Shoegasm so I can measure you. This means you: Ruby, Neal, Pepper, Tony. Am I missing anyone? Are there more engaged folk on here who want a custom bridal gown or tuxedo?

I do shoes, too. Boy, do I do shoes.

It seems I am not lucky enough to have escaped these dreams. 19th Century insane asylums are not something I would recommend. It was actually rather disturbing.

I've been working on some designs for mens' shoes. I have a good friend who's getting married, and I wanted him to have something special and original for when he and his soon-to-be husband walk down the aisle. These are absolutely magnificent, if I do say so myself.

I may have found a new calling.

It looks like I'm loving married life.

The first shipment of shoes came in! My own designs, in several sizes, colors, shapes, patterns, and they're SO BEAUTIFUL. I might cry. I might actually cry.

It's International Women's Day today.

There are so many wonderful women who have made incredible contributions to the world, maybe take a little time today to read about some of them. You may be surprised.

I received the answer to whether or not the time machine I built in my dreams worked.

It didn't.

Instead of saving my daughter from dying, I watched her be murdered while I couldn't do anything to protect her. Some mother I am Those men are severely lucky they only exist in this dream world

Previously in dream land I dreamed about my cat who turned into a demon. Now, I've had a dream where I was forced to fight a demon who turned into a giant cat (though I'm pretty sure fighting giant demon cat came before running from medium sized cat demon).

I have no idea of my dream world has a weird penchant for cats and demons, or if it's just me.

At least Sir Pounce-A-Lot will protect me from any mean nasty demons that come my way here.

Has everyone seen that dress color debate? I wanted to believe it was photo-shopped until I saw the same picture in two different colors.

So Rach and I are married. Again. Actually this time around it was the 'official' church-y wedding, not the spur-of-the-moment Vegas one we had last year. So all the parents and relations were in attendance and it was awesome. My wife looked gorgeous in her wedding dress, and we had a helluva reception! Yeah we had to cut the honeymoon short due to an emergency but hey, at least we had a honeymoon this time.

Also, my dad gave the most amazing wedding present ever:

He gave me the reigns to ENCOM, officially. He's stepping down, retiring, and passing the torch on to me. I'm now CEO of ENCOM!

Expect a hiring spree, people. As of...now.

Woke up to this trench coat. Kinda dig it. Finally something that doesn't suck from the dreams.

What was the explosion? That's all I've heard. Was it someone we know? I hate being stuck in Sacramento waiting for a plane when all I want is to be home!

It's been a pretty busy week and the weekend is looking to be even more so but I can't complain since I'm going to a fashion show! I am ridiculously excited, especially since I have a couple of dresses exhibiting there :)

I hope others have fun weekend plans!

Gotta love it. She showed up after I had a bunch of dreams, new ones (finally!), although they were about the Grid, not this lovely motorcycle but I'm not complaining. I finally got to learn HOW I got out of the damn place! Note to self: base jumping into the head of an AI is CRAZY. So is sticking your hand into an energy beam just to redirect it so the bad guys don't derezz you.

Being a User is kinda badass, gotta admit. I even saved the girl. Heck, TRON and I saved an entire world when you really think about it. Not too shabby for a computer programmer from Paramus, New Jersey.

I wish there was a reason behind these dreams. Or at least someone we could blame. I'd love to give them my grocery bills for all the ice cream I ate after a quite depressing dream.

It's hard to feel the loss for someone that you've never actually known.

At least I always know work will keep me busy.

Dream Slave Statue Update: I have a new slave master now - this one has wings. If a dragonfly and an elephant had a love child, it would look like this guy. I don't know why he has the same name as someone I used to know. Watto wasn't bad. Not like this.

And that's really the end of the 'good' part of this news.

Why would someone steal Captain Hook's Head? That's really sad! And disturbing. I guess someone's going to put it up in their dorm room, or whatever?

...don't they have cameras running on those rides? I guess whoever did it was either really, really good, or...? Or maybe they'll catch them? Or something else!

I think I'd rather have Peter Pan's head than Captain Hook's. If I was taking it to keep it. If I was simply taking it to deface the ride, then I suppose Hook is the way to go.

This time last year I'd just gotten engaged. How strange is that? We've been married since Valentine's Day, but it feels like forever. In a good way, of course! ;) I love my hubby.

That makes Valentine's Day our one year anniversary. I'm gonna have to think of something special to commemorate.

God, I hate that moment when you go to pour yourself a glass of Egg Nog, and you realize that someone put it away with like, two tablespoons left in the carton. Grr! Was it me? Did I do it? Or do I have someone else to blame?

In either case, I need more Egg Nog. Stat.

I haven't had a blog since I was about 15, so this is weird for me.

I can't seem to stop eating potato chips today. Maybe it's because they're delicious?

I got into a huge fight with my dream!sister last night. In my dreams. When I woke up this morning I called her, but she was already in school. I hung up the phone after talking with my mother, and realized how silly that phone call was.

Does anyone ever feel like they were ridiculously under-prepared when it came to the Dreams? Like there were things you should have been told but weren't?

There was a snake INSIDE my cat last night. It was awful. Every time she went to hiss, the snake hissed too. From inside her mouth. I think she was getting a kick out of the double hiss.

What on Earth did I eat?? Terrible dreams. But thankfully they weren't the Dream dreams. Just the really messed up nightmare kind.

Definitely the most fun Halloween I've had in a while, and it was all just movies and junk food. But good, (and by good I mean hilariously bad) Horror/Halloween flicks. And it's always fun with friends. Not sure which was more entertaining: Tony's running commentary on the movies or the films themselves.

I dislike candy corn.

I really don't know what to do about Halloween. I had a dream last night about Halloween things, but in my Dream World it's called "Nightmare Night" not Halloween. All the Pony stuff is different. But the candy's just as good!

Well, never a dull moment around here, is there? Sincerest thanks (and apologies) to the Flynn family for letting me stay on while my poor best friend was locked to Mister Flynn. I plan on sending a gift basket, just let me know what you'd like in it.

Is everyone else back to normal then? Everyone made some new friends? I know Aramis certainly has, since we're apparently having more people over than expected for his Feast Day. Bless, he'd invite the entire state over if he could.

We're out of controllers for the XBox. They're kinda all in pieces.

Titanfall is paused until this is resolved.

Parker, field trip to Gamestop. Or Walmart. Or whatever's open.

So, I won at Mario Kart. It's kind of nice having a house full of people to play games with. Our anniversary celebrations will have to wait, as Kev and I don't really want to celebrate with Musketeers filling the living room. And Peter, too, who is a sweetheart but not a Musketeer.

I'm just glad the boys were kind enough to let me win at Mario Kart. It meant a lot.

And Cindy, I'm terribly sorry that Aramis has been following me to work. But I've personally witnessed him single-handedly upselling multiple pairs of shoes to multiple customers. He's better at this sales thing than ... anyone I've ever seen.

I'll be glad when this is over and I've got the place to myself again, but it's actually been very fun.

I usually dread unpacking, but it’s kind of fun in a new place. Finding the perfect spot for everything. It’s a good distraction too. Except I can’t stop thinking about the dreams or this daylight ring.

Great. I stopped a mugger tonight, but he had a knife and managed to snag my cape at one point so now there's a hole in it. In the dreams, we had extra costumes and Bruce had someone who fixed these things. I don't know where I'm supposed to get this fixed here.

My best friend in the Dreams went a little crazy. What a night last night. I really miss her when I'm not sleeping. That's weird, right?

Things that I have learned since being here.

1. As hilarious as going on an adventure and getting lost with a friend who is also new to the area, always make sure one of you has a map

2. Dreams are still convoluted and I don't see that stopping anytime soon. Or them in general. But I'm recognizing more people and I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing. (For the record? Frosty is a hilarious, but really bad, fake name <3))

3. I may be awesome as a bartender, but I should probably look for a day job as well (Don't worry, Harry, you still have me for bar-tending and whatever else you need, you're not getting rid of me that easily)

I know I didn't come with much and I may love a good surprise, but really? Breaking into my apartment? What exactly am I supposed to do with a red cloak and a sexy diner uniform?

Well, hey there, Valarnet. I'm Cindy and I'm new to this corner of cyberspace. I own a store called Shoegasm here in the OC and the name pretty much speaks for itself, doesn't it?

Only some can effectively pull off lace-up booties, though Taylor Swift seems to have started a trend. Texture is huge for this fall season, along with jewel tones and suede. But enough about shoes, as much as I love them. I also enjoy extreme sports, spicy Thai food, and crushing skulls cuddly bunnies.

Oh, and if anyone's looking for gainful employment and you're interested in the fashion industry, I've got positions available. Retail, yeah, but also things like accounting and art designy stuff, for the store's website and all, since I'm so not good at that sort of thing. But interviews can be basically walk-in, I'm at the store a lot anyway.

Has anyone else had dreams about talking animals? And I do mean the dreams. Not simply a dream where animals spoke. In the dream I had last night, after we hid in that wardrobe, we found ourselves in another land called Narnia, which meant that Lucy hadn't been making it up. I reprimanded Peter for making us think Lucy was crazy then she brought us to the house of a fawn she had met before, but he wasn't there. In fact, he'd been arrested by The White Witch. After that, we met a beaver. Yes, a beaver who spoke. His name, as you may have guessed, was Mr. Beaver.

I woke up to Aslan sitting on my chest, looking at me and I half expected him to talk. Then I realized how crazy this all is. Honestly, talking animals?

New town, new adventure. Hey. I'm Ruby and I'm new to the area. Which was already stated when saying new town. Anyway... What's there to do here for someone wanting to get a feel of the place?

So somehow I just learned this is a thing, which is surprising. Not as surprising as me hearing about it from CORA, but you know.

I'm Lydia and I'm taking advantage of this now that I know this exists. Get used to my face, not that it's a hard one to look at. ;)

I was wondering if there are any designers here. As you may have seen, my pie shop and Audrey Baxter's bakery are going to be having a bake-off soon and I wanted to get custom made aprons for my employees and myself for it. I want them to be unique otherwise I'd just go to some website to have things personalized.
