I've been holding off 'cause I've been hoping my boyf best friend would make his way back here, but it's beginning to look like that's a lost hope and I can't afford to keep paying for this apartment myself. Don't suppose there's any chance of someone out there needing a roommate or a place to live? Bonus points if you'll geek out about comics, video games, or science with me.

There's someone out there who decided to teach a computer how to write recipes. It's come up with delicious titles like Completely Meat Chocolate Pie.

I gotta say though, it probably still manages to beat my sister's cooking skills. I'll take Beef Soup With Swamp Peef And Cheese over needing to drink my eggs through a straw again. I for one welcome our new culinary computer conquerors.

Can't believe it's that time of year already. Happy Pi Day everyone! Now who can tell me who's got the best pies in the county?

As if watching my best friend getting shot in real life wasn't bad enough, now my dreams have to make me do it again.

In less depressing news, dream me also got to hang with AJ McLean, of Backstreet Boys fame. I think they're a little before my time, but dream me thought it was ill. I don't know how dream Virgil keeps meeting all these celebrities though. The closest I've ever come is getting stuff signed at comic conventions.

Looks like you join a team after all, at least in this version of my dreams as you're now a Teen Titan.

My pops is friends with Shaq! At least, in my dreams he is. I still can't get over it. I can't believe I got to hang with The Diesel, even if it was just in my dreams. I'm a little star struck. I even got a point on him when we played some one-on-one with a little help from Static, at least.

He's a real cool dude.

Called Pops to check to see if he's been holding out on us, so now I think he thinks that this place is doing funny things to my head. Nothing quite like explaining to your pops that you think he knows a basketball legend because you had a vivid dream about shooting hoops with him.

Shaquille O'Neal though. My dreams are ill.

Nothing quite like going all day walking around with a wad of gum stuck to your pants. Sure would have been nice if someone at work had mentioned to me instead of waiting until the kids at the Ranch had a good laugh.

Why would anyone think it's okay to leave gum on top of a chair anyway. That's what garbage cans are for, people.

So this was something a friend showed me today and I have to admit that it did kind of make me feel better about myself. I just thought it was something I'd share in case anyone else needed it. I don't know. Sharing is caring?

Can I just say that if I never get that sick again, it'll be far too soon. Was that more dream business? I feel sorry for whoever has to dream of something that whacked out.

As far as my dreams have gone, there really hasn't been much to report. Same old, same old. Giant bacteria monster attacks the school when my friend Frieda was inside. Most popular track star in school asked me to tutour him, though it turns out he was really a bang baby (it's cool, it's cool, he got himself help in the end). Some musician who was also a bang baby went apeshit because people stole his tunes.

But last night, I dreamed of being accepted into the Vanmoor Charter School for Science! It's some school for genius kids, and I there must've been some sort of mix-up by accepting me. Everyone there was way smarter than me. And there was this real fly girl there named Daisy (who was way smarter than me) and we hit it off. Specs and Trapper, our student teachers, were trippin, but I guess that's what happens when they think they could trick us into taking on Dakota's only bonafide superhero.

Speaking of not being perfect, I was expected to keep up my homework at Dakota High too while I was studying at Vanmoor. Two full-time course loads and doing the whole superhero thing didn't lead to much free time, but you know. I think I'm glad for the experience. Both in this world and the dream world. Vanmoor ended up getting shut down (because apparently the government looks down on student teachers trying to take out superheroes), but that just meant Daisy got transferred over to Dakota Union High. Which was clearly the best way for a dream to end. Dream me might have a bit of a crush.

You know what my favourite part of high school was? The beat downs. So glad I gotta relive all that last night. Even got the black eye to prove it. The superpowers were a nice touch though.

Also, I guess in the dreams my moms is dead. Which meant I had no choice but to eat Sharon's nasty cooking. Had a long conversation with her this morning when I woke. I think she thinks I'm homesick now though.

..... I have a suit..... What the fuck...

Oh my Gosh, the beach was like, a giant Pokemon Party all day today! I got so much sun, though! I definitely should have put on more sunblock! It was bizarre seeing all those people playing on their phones, though. Bizarre and good! I kept hearing people joking and laughing with one another, making up cheers for their team colors and whatnot. The rivalry between Blue and Yellow and Red is hilarious!

So, what team is Valarnet on?

Still tryna catch a plant type for Ivy but I've been busy! Caught a Jigglypuff at a strip club!

California summers are always brutal when you spend the whole day in the sun. I'm really lucky that I'm good about sunscreen. My mother taught me that. Also? Sno-Cone stands don't get the credit they deserve.

Anybody else out there enjoying the sun? Or surviving it, rather?

What up, OC? Virgil Hawkins is in the house! Just moved here to Detroit after getting an internship at Stark Industries (I know, I can hardly believe it myself), and let me tell you, I am amped up to be here. I can't believe I just stumbled upon this Network. Detroit doesn't have any social media like this. It's kind of like Facebook, but with less photos of my sister's nasty ass cooking. Trust me, that's an improvement though, I'm not so sure about all this talk about dreams and monsters.

So a bit about me, because I'm sure you're all dying to know. I'm Virgil I guess I already said that. I'll be studying electrical engineering at CalTech this fall, thanks to the generousness of Stark Industries (seriously. You have no idea how geeked I am to work there). I'm twenty years old, and yes ladies, I am single. I enjoy comics, video games, and long walks on the beach. At least, I assume I'll enjoy long walks on the beach. It's a bit of a trek from Detroit to the ocean.

I'm missing my homeboy, Richie, like crazy but I can't wait to get to meet you guys. What's the haps? Where are all the tightest places to hang?
