Being lucky enough to get Christmas Eve and Christmas off means I'll be working at the hospital tonight. It was worth it though.

Is it too early to start Christmas shopping?

Last year I completely forgot and going to the stores two days before was the worst experience imaginable. And Black Friday is insane, but I feel like I should try to get a head start this time.

Between the pumpkin pie, the pumpkin spiced drinks, Halloween candy, and Thanksgiving dinner, autumn has always been one of my favourite seasons.

And now I've discovered pumpkin spiced beer. It's a tasty brown ale that tastes just like pumpkin pie. Pumpkin pie in a glass if you will. I drank a case last night, and somehow ended up buying a couple more today. I know there's no such thing as too much beer, but I can't actually fit all of them in my fridge. ;_;

Using the on call beds are definitely not recommended for long term sleep.

As my back is angrily protesting right now.

I had thought with the full moon being both an eclipse and a super blood moon the crazies would be in astronomical force. But surprisingly the hospital was rather quiet.

I even got a chance to sneak outside and see it myself. I have to admit it was rather beautiful

I'm now among one of the many dreamers on this network. I have to admit, I thought it was some strange sort of mass hysteria. But River had the same dream and she never even mentioned it until after I brought it up.

I joined this little site a while ago and then just got busy and completely forgot about it. My sister mentioning it made me remember so it only seems fitting that I should introduce myself.


My name is Simon and I'm currently employed at Saint Joseph's Hospital. This generally means that I'm at the hospital about 80 percent of my time. It's busy but I do love it.

I'm not really sure what else to put down on this first entry. I've never really been one to talk about myself at great lengths.

Now that it's been performed and graded, I wanted to share my choreography final.

It's dark. Sad. About missing children. I redid it completely, based it around those dreams.

Those are the girls I'll teach this summer. They did beautifully.

Was there a memo on going crazy that I didn't happen to get? All the folk around a fella start to lose it, and he begins to wonder if he's being set up for one of those television shows.

You're not right. In the head. You have issues. All of you have issues.

I feel like I've said this before, but.... this must be what going insane feels like.

I've been posting ads in the local newspapers and on the UCI website, but I figured this is as good a place as any. Actually, it's probably the best place to look for candidates considering people on this network seem to be so much more open about their dreams.

I'm looking for 5 to 10 human participants for a clinical trial I am putting together. The trial is regarding the dreams, so having them is a must. It involves spending nights at the my medical facility in UCI and answering questions. There is a fair amount of pay involved and it can be negotiated depending upon what the participant would be willing to do (I'm looking into doing some sleep deprivation trials as well, for example).

If you have these dreams and are interested in earning some extra cash for simply having them and letting me study observe you, then please let me know so we can discuss it further.

Do you ever think it's weird? Us all gathered here in California, our dreams all starting only when we get here? I was thinking about it last night and I'm wondering if it's more than a coincidence.

There's a reason why phones go through extensive alpha and beta testing before they are put on the market. Did Stark Industries even try before they gave out those things? Mine already went into the trash. I'm headed to the phone company to reactivate my old phone. Good riddance.

How many scientists out there right now are trying to understand how these dreams work? I've done a bit of testing and theorizing on my own, but there is strength in numbers. I desperately need to understand this phenomenon.

Me and my new fuzzy friend are making dinner together! It's being very nice and patiently just sitting there, minding its own business on the kitchen counter. I think it likes how cool the surface is. It didn't like the kitchen table nearly as much.

Simon will probably say we can't keep it, but it's not my fault! I didn't even bring it home, I swear.

Most of the mirrors in the studios here have cracked, or shattered. We were in the middle of dance class when everything happened.

It's chaos here, since the little ones were in the room next door ... we've got cuts and bruises, but I think everyone is alright. An EMT is here looking us all over.
