No dream this time but I woke up to a rather voluminous collection of poetry beside my bed. And all over my bed.

This 'Dandelion' was pretty prolific.

In my dreams, I have definitely been kidnapped by dryads. Adult me is less concerned about this than I am in the dreams: after all, at least if I'm surrounded by people who are paying attention to this dumb child version of me she can't run off and get herself killed.

Okay so I woke up this morning with two books on my nightstand that weren't there before, and having a read through them they don't at all seem ominous. Thank God it's just in the dreams...

Well, I haven't talked about my dreams for a little bit but here we go. Found out that the white-haired man in my dreams is a Witcher, by profession. And I think he's the man I've been sort of, uh, promised to? Not for marriage but by destiny. Whatever that shite means.

Honestly, though the guy seems like kind of an arsehole.

how do i get myself listed as a danger to my own safety? is that possible? can you get a restraining order against yourself? or dream self?

I think I'm glad for a brief reprieve from the drama of my dreams; I'm just wandering through a misty wood with some dryads. No centipedes, no monsters, just this grumpy white-haired man and some really beautiful dryads.

I had another dream. The camp got over run with walkers, we some people. And Jim got bit. We had to leave him behind when we moved out. One of the families decided not to go with us. There's still too damn many of us to travel quietly, and I really don't like the cops in the group.

Still haven't found my brother, but we made it to the CDC. Supposed to be help and resources there. Just a bunch of dead bodies and walkers. Seems like we're screwed six ways to Sunday. If it were a TV show, I'd expect my brother to come running out of the shadows to save the day, but I don't think it's gonna happen that way.

Well, if there's one thing that's consistent across the board it absolutely had to be my taste in men, clearly.

It's probably the only thing that could've done with an upgrade.

On the down side, hearing the trickling of thoughts from your employees is surely the quickest way to start hating everyone who works for you.

It's only taken me five months to sort out the kinks and convince the landowners to let me buy use the land for my horses but I am officially opening my stables. We'll eventually run horse-riding lessons and group outings as well as letting people board their horses here if they want to. I really miss horses, so this'll be a nice place.

We're near a trail so anyone who wants to spend a nice day on horseback can come see me and I don't mind taking you out. I've got about a dozen horses so far and almost all of them are rideable.

Edit: Anyone who loves horses and knows a thing or two about them is welcome to come and work here, there's lots to do and only a small team (so far) doing it!

it has officially gotten to the point where rehab is only slightly less painful than the actual injury itself. apparently this is a good thing? it seems to be indicative of progress.

i call bull on that and think the assistant is just a sadist. it would not be unlike my luck to attract a sadist.

at what point is self medicating a problem?

I forgot how much I enjoy work. Definitely not the travel aspect, or even the long days, but just doing something. I missed it for sure.

And I've just found out how much Scooby hates when I work. My living room really suffered my missing our afternoon walk. Whoops?

Woke up this morning to find my prom dress, from the dreams, hanging on the back of my closet door. I'm not really sure what I'm supposed to do with it since it's clearly a prom dress and clearly from ten years ago. Has anyone else gotten clothes from their dreams that they just can't wear? What have you done with them?

I'm taking some notes about these dreams that everyone keeps having. What stages are there? I'm gathering that many people seem to have a different opinion on them or are experiencing them at different rates.

For example, I've only had one dream so far, but maybe some other people have them more often. I wonder if you can have a way to make the dreams come, you know?

I got saved by a white-haired man who had yellow eyes and the biggest, shiniest damn sword I've ever seen. He told me to climb the tree, then struck it down in the most epic fight.

So the arrival of a piano now makes sense, seems it's the only thing that helps me deal with the crap in my dreams. You know being forced out of the closet, being attacked for it, and feeling pretty fucking worthless as a result.

I almost forgot how crazy my mom goes for this time of year, like legit crazy person on speed. All the shopping, every decoration, all the things, all the time, every time.

Thankfully my twin high flying brother is back in town which means he can go digging around in the attic for the tree and all the thousand and one decorations that are stuck up there.

It's sad when friends decide they have to leave. Maybe they'll be back some day, but it's a little different to just have a text/messaging friendship and not see each other all the time. But hopefully a change in scenery is good for them, gotta look on the bright side as well.

But update on the dream situation - some guy decided to climb into my tower and I knocked him out with a frying pan. Things get interesting the moment my Mother decides to leave. I've got him tied up in a chair with my hair.

Seems like rather than a two for one on dreams I got buy six and get three free.

Literally lived through growing up in the Hammond household, my parents divorce (again), hating myself quite viciously, being the First Son, having a twin (who is totally better at everything so no difference there at least) and basically being the black sheep of my family.

Okay so I woke up ravenous this morning and not just any kind of ravenous it's an all consuming kind of hunger.

And I thought I knew what a headache was until I woke up and basically heard everything and everyone in my apartment complex.

Boris Johnson lost his majority in Parliament today. Shockingly there are still members of Parliament who seem to have at least half a brain and realize a No Deal Brexit would devastate the UK. So we'll see how this plays out now.

Now if Parliament could get something done before Friday when they go on prorogue that might actually block a No Deal Brexit, that would be great.

Well, fuck, that dream was jacked.

I guess it was too much to hope that I'd somehow be immune from the Dreams that seem to be hitting the residents of Orange County. I went from dreaming about Fettes College and my normal weird dream fare to something entirely different altogether.

I thought it was just some fancy imagination tricks at first, creating another world, a land called Cintra and a series of islands - like the outer Hebrides - collectively known as the Skellige Isles. I mean, there's monsters there, sirens and werewolves and harpies... But I don't know, I dreamed of growing up spending summers on the Isles and winters back at home in Cintra with my parents and grandmother. That wasn't so bad, I suppose.

But last night- last night my grandmother (in the dreams, of course) got the news that my parents had set sail from Skellige and were lost in a place called the Sedna Abyss, in some freak storm that had blown in and utterly destroyed their ship. In my dreams, I was barely five if even that old.

It made me think of my actual parents. I lost them, too, before I was five. I haven't thought about them for years.

I need a fucking drink. Recommendations of places to go?

I have no fucking idea how it even happened but a piano turned up in my apartment.

How I slept through its arrival is beyond me.

So I've tried Googling places tae go but it's about as useless as anything when all you've got is touristy trip advisor bullshit to go by.

Anyone want to point me in the direction of places to go for a good night out? And good take out?
