Well, this has been... interesting. I haven't seen any of the zombie things myself, but I barricaded my family inside our house when I read the first few posts on the net. I've never believed in the supernatural or anything like that before, but I'm not taking my chances. Not when I have my mom and Katie to take care of.

Problem is, my parents are separated and therefore don't live together, and I haven't heard from my dad yet. I want to go find him and make sure he's alright, but I don't have any kind of combat training or anything. I think I heard something about the real bad stuff moving to Vegas, so can anyone tell me if that's true? And if it's not, is anyone willing to escort a girl from Santa Ana to Dana Point? I'd be willing to learn how to shoot a gun or something, so I wouldn't be totally useless. I just have to make sure my dad's okay.

Wow, I guess my family picked a really good time to want to do the whole bonding thing. Um, I really hope everyone back home is staying safe. Especially my friends.

Uh, Dana? Hope you, Katie and your mom are all doing okay. Keep me updated, alright?

That goes for you too, Jules. And Holden. I want to know everyone's alright. And hey, let's say we all go on a camping trip when I get back? That could be fun. And a way to forget about all this crazy shit.

I know they say blondes have more fun but, so far, all I've done is stare into the mirror and swish my head around. To be fair, it is fun, but I kinda don't think that's what the saying meant.
