So according to Google it's the 131st Anniversary of the Hole Punch today. I have to admit I don't think I've used one since primary school back home. But good on it for keeping going.

I just gotta say, if you're stupid enough to steal eggs from a velociraptor, you definitely deserve to die.

I wait all year for Count Chocula, Booberry and Frankenberry cereal to hit the shelves.

This year I'm stocking up.

I've been debating whether or not to step back from the day to day operations for Taste of Home and just come in a few days a week instead of 16 hour days. Pretty sure I've burned myself out a bit over the last few years. It's not like I need to bust ass to make sure it stays open, we're thriving.

But I can't exactly manage to do more than step outside the door for more than a few hours before I find myself back in the kitchen.

I'm utterly hopeless. Someone come lock me away for a few weeks somewhere. Until then:

It was only a matter of time, I suppose, from how people talk here before it started. I woke up this morning with a dream. One of those your life is different dreams. This is the third one I've had in as many days, and I didn't know what to expect first, so I kept my mouth shut, but... here I am.

I have been dreaming of being ten instead of sixteen, and of being recruited by a wizard to become the champion of magic. Which is freaky, and really kind of odd. Who recruits a ten-year-old to become a superhero, even if they get to transform into an adult body when they are being super? That takes some seriously weird vibes right there.

But young me loves the life and fights all kinds of weird bad guys. It's a little creepy, and cheesy, too. But also fun, in a way.

Okay so I am saddened that I missed International Kissing Day yesterday, BUT the bright side is that I didn't miss World Chocolate Day which is today!

So go mad people and enjoy a bar or two!

So people have fun plans right? I do, even though I'm British and really shouldn't be celebrating this with you ;P

But seriously Happy Independence Day to everybody. Hope you all have a good one!

All this singing going around isn't really my forte. It only leads to treble.

This is amazing! It's like I'm in a musical, it's certainly brightened up study sessions.

I'm watching Eurovision and this year there are a lot of really great entries! There's the usual craziness but I think I'd be torn as to who I were to vote for this year. Anyone else watching?

So today a clown held the door for me.

It was a nice Jester.

Part of me is going to miss all that wind and rain, it was just like being at home only with added northern lights. Mind you, the way this place is I'm sure we'll get some other crazy weather at some point.

I forgive my sister everything! Even the joke duck shaped chocolate figure she sent me last Easter because this year she has fully redeemed herself. I don't even want to know how much this was to ship to me but it is glorious.

WOOHOO!!!

Now that is better Wales! Make me proud! :)

Wales, why must you break my heart? The English are the ones who are supposed to clutch defeat from the jaws of victory. It pains me to watch the second halves of matches now. Actual pain.

Not being able to fall asleep has led me to just watching random videos on YouTube, where I came across this gem.

It doesn't matter how old it is or how many times I see it. I will forever be amused.

Looks like you join a team after all, at least in this version of my dreams as you're now a Teen Titan.

After taking the last semester off, while I adjusted to being a Silent Brother, I decided to go back this semester now that I've got a fairly good handle on it. The semester started on Wednesday and classes being Monday. I'll admit, oddly enough, I'm a little nervous about going back, which is strange since I've always liked school. I suppose, being able to read minds, I worry that I may become overwhelmed in large groups despite thinking that I have control over it. I know most of my worries are unfounded, but I suppose the dreams will do that to you. At least I'll have Will on campus if I have any problems.

I have to admit, it feels rather odd that this was my last time leaving the school as a teacher. Oh well. Time to see what the next adventure brings.

Today is Armistice Day in the UK and Veterans day here in America. Please remember to take a minute to remember all those who served or are serving your country, if you so wish of course.

It's Winnie-the-Pooh's 90th Birthday today.

I remember my mum reading me the Winnie-the-Pooh stories when I was a kid and it's definitely among the must read list for my kids. I loved being read to and I think it's what encouraged my love of books.

OHMYGOD Words with Friends. I seriously thought I was gonna suck at this game. But guess what? I'm not terrible.

I... I think I watched ten hours of Netflix today. I can't tell if I'm proud of myself, or a little embarrassed and ashamed. Either way, I think my butt's asleep.

Never been so glad for air con before. I'm using it to wind my sister up since the UK is having a hot few days and air con only exists in a few buildings there. She says she's never been so sweaty before while I'm sat in the bookstore feeling cool and pretty smug.

Yes that's right it's National Barefoot Day today and it's also National Olive Day! Go mad people!

So now my normal dreams are becoming disturbing. I knew I shouldn't have eaten cheese so close to bedtime. Hopefully tonight will be dream free, that would be nice.

I've been a little lapse in my notifications of important days for people lately but today is a very important day!

I kind of really don't want to remove the giant rock sling shot in the yard I made from the concrete. Great for warding off everything from Stormtroopers to Jahovas Witness. I was initially gonna go dismantle it but..I'm sorta proud of it.

It would seem that today is National Pet Day. I've seen multiple people posting pictures of their pets on Facebook, so I figured I might as well jump on the bandwagon, as they say. So with no further ado...

Saturday night, April 2nd, you are all invited to a black light paint party. Actually, think of it more like a rave. I am hosting this event with another member of this network and it will be at [address of warehouse] from 8:pm until whenever. Black light paint will be available upon arrival so you can paint yourself, have someone else do it you paint someone else.

I'm quite surprised that Will, who acknowledges even the most obscure holiday, did not make a post about today being the Ides of March. I feel that he must be slacking and for that reason alone, I have decided to call him out on it.

I woke up to find the throwing knives from my dreams on my bedside table. I know what I'll be doing after classes today :)

World Cabbage Day? Who the hell comes up with these days? I mean seriously and more to the point why is my calendar telling me about them?

So I learnt today that if a battery bounces when you drop it on a table it means it's dead. I'm not sure how I didn't know this before, it seems like one of those things you should know in life. Kind of like the egg floaty test.

Anybody got any other pearls of wisdom?

Pride and Prejudice was first published on January 28th 1813 so it's been over two hundred years of enjoyment that book has brought.

I have to admit I am kind of looking forward to Pride and Prejudice and Zombies being released at the cinema, I'm not sure if that makes me a heathen or not?

Well thank god that seems to be over with.

I dislike things I cannot fight and fighting fog is a fruitless endeavour.

Is it sad that I'm excited for school to start up? I've felt a little aimless without school since I got back, but now that'll be changing. I'm happy to have spent Christmas with my family this year since it was strange last year to spend it with my travel study group. But, I was able to force my boyfriend to put on a tie and properly meet my parents, so point in that department.

On the dream front, not a whole lot. I have to admit dreaming about wizard school is actually exciting and I'm a huge nerd for thinking that. I've been practicing what I've been learning in the classes with my wand and it seems to be working! I managed to levitate some objects the other day before accidentally sending the lamp zooming into the wall (oops). I did turn a match into a needle, but I'm a bit afraid of getting a mouse to turn into a matchbox.

Today is a very very good day!

My professor has gone all out and dressed up for classes today, I'm impressed.

So I let my students go early today. What's life without whimsy? Besides, on a day for family, I figure they would all rather be elsewhere. I just figured I'd find a bar with a game on after stopping by the faculty lounge to do our ritual Thanksgiving get together. Anyone know where there are some good games showing?

We're having to chose a Penny Dreadful/gothic novel to write an essay on this month, I have to admit that I forgot how much I enjoy them and it's perfectly timed for Halloween too.

Life changing decisions happening here. Okay not really, but I did officially change my major and decided to take up cheer again.

This is going to be a good year. I can feel it.

I was talking to my mother earlier and she told me that her and my father want to come out here for Christmas. While I'd love to see my parents, they don't know that I'm sick and it would be too difficult to explain. I'm not entirely sure what to do.
