Montreal passed a pit bull ban, which means any pit that doesn't have a home is going to be put down, just like that. Can't be adopted or anything. Montreal is apparently full of wankers. I understand a woman was mauled, but it's not the breed of a dog that makes it violent. Honestly, the city council is just making more problems with this ban.

Bit hard to get in the Halloween spirit when its 95 degrees. I wanna go somewhere where it's cold and Halloween stuff happens.

Welp, my first week of teaching didn't go up in flames or end in half my class quitting so I'm gonna call that a success.

You know, I thought it was a California thing that all y'all were so obsessed with dreams. We certainly never talked about them this much in Santa Fe. I'm thinkin' I might've been wrong about that assumption. Had a real weird one last night. Not sure what to make of it. Sort of figured maybe some of you around here could tell me what's going on with all the talk about dreams.

I might not be a pirate, but I had a bit of fun today. Replaced my prosthetic with a hook and entertained some kids at the park. They finally managed to 'sink' the play fort I'd claimed as my ship.

So, what's the best place for a man to get a good drink around here? Not too fancy, please, I ain't looking for cocktails and night club nonsense. I want a bar with cold beer and maybe a pretty waitress or two but that's not necessary. The beer's the part I'm most interested in. Cold and fresh and not super expensive.

And where can I get some decent cigarillos? Seems to be they ain't as common here as where I'm from. Or a decent cigar shop would do. Might have what I'm looking for.
