Since I keep getting pushed towards this, by old friends and new acquaintances, I should introduce myself. I'm Alaric Saltzman. The new history teacher at Huntington Beach High School.

I recently moved here to the OC for personal reasons, but I'm sure that I'll end up staying and enjoying the place, as well.

Fuck sake, but dreams time jump like crazy.

I kinda felt bad about it when i woke up.

Since Enzo is stuck babysitting Thomas' bear, Mare has been begging to go over and see 'Big Doggy' again after Enzo and Katherine's wedding last month.

Thomas, Mare is totally going to steal that bear from you. She's more gentle than a damn golden retriever.

So last night, I dreamed my brother and I went to this little town because people were going missing in a lake. Authorities dredged the lake, and didn't find anything. We found the spirit of a kid who had been murdered 35 years earlier, and he was slowly trying to kill everyone the two who killed him cared about. We saved a young woman and her kid, but we couldn't save her father (who was one of the child murders all those years ago), and the other guy who killed the kid and his children were lost too.

Dream me has a lot of unresolved issues. With my parents, with my brother, with life in general.

Jesus Christ, adopted Dream father is actually insane. Practically drowned me at ten for "training". Feels like I woke up waterlogged. Dude made me stay under water for seven minutes and it crossed over, feels like my lungs are actually burning. Thought I was actually going to die.

I don't know if I've joined the ranks of the dreamers ot what, but last night I dreamed about a different place. I lived in Oz.

I lived in a little shack, and across the way there was a house built into the mountain, and that's where my best friend lived, only he wasn't allowed outside. Whenever Mombi would go into town, Tip would throw rocks at my window and I'd come over and try to find a way to get him out of the house.

It felt very real. It still feels very real. I don't know what to make of it.

Wow. It's true that reality TV shows will call just about anybody. That Bar Rescue Show called me today to see if I'd be interested in having any of the nightclubs on the show. Uh...no? Our three clubs are fine and we are looking into a fourth. They seemed offended I rejected them.

More dreams last night. Pretty sure the older guy I've been seeing is abusive. So that's fun.

In happier news it's almost Memorial Day weekend! Anyone have fun plans?

Well I wish I could claim to be surprised by what I did in this latest Dream but that would be a lie. I’m still at the party that my father sent me to in his place to represent the White Court, which everyone there except for maybe Harry realizes was a complete and total insult to Bianca, and after giving me her gift I decide that it’s in my best interest to side with Harry against her. Which is logical until I betray him in an effort to get Justine away from Bianca. It didn’t work out for me and then Harry set the entire place on fire. The man does have style even if it might not have been the smartest plan with him still inside of the building too.

Before anyone gets worried I made it out of the fire - even managed to snag a magic sword belonging to Harry’s friend on my way out that I take with me over to his place as some sort of peace offering I’m guessing. I’m not sure why he trusted me after I double crossed him before because God knows I wouldn’t have trusted me after that but we forged a new alliance to try to get both of our girls back from Bianca.

Which brings up the question - anyone want a ticket to Hawaii? Bianca's other 'gift' showed up on the nightstand this morning and I am never going to use it. And it's either give it away or toss it in the fireplace. I'm not giving away the other gift I found when I got out of bed - Amoracchius, the sword I snagged from the fire on my way out. I don't know if I can actually use it since it's a magic sword but at least I have it. Now to figure out where to display it that Winie and Dio can't get at it.

Anyone have any suggestions for someone looking to pick up a new hobby? Outdoor would be preferable. I spend way too much time inside as it is.

I just had the strangest dreams about some town called Mystic Falls. There is something off about both the town and my dreams. Like it wasn't just a regular dream. I've seen a lot of people on here post about dreams. Does anyone dreams that just feel different?

Well I think that’s the last time I take a cab anywhere around here. I called this afternoon to arrange a pickup for tonight and was told to call back an hour prior to what time I wanted to be picked up. Which is all well and fine until you take into account the state I was in at that point with hunger. And the fact that the company kept giving me the run around about it. And finally told me they would try to get someone there to pick me up. Try to. And three hours after the time I’d wanted to be picked up they did manage to get there. And the driver bitched the entire way home about how he was missing out on fares that would have been more lucrative.

The damn things are back! Twice now! TWICE! Each time these bloody wings come back! I can hear dear old dad laughing his ass off.

I think it's safe to say between a gun turning up, dreaming about somebody I know being bitten by a snake and dying in front of my eyes because we have literally no infrastructure to deal with shit like that and then carrying her body back into town I am feeling super crappy right now.

I'll be in my bunk.

Yup. It's official. I still hate Egg Nog.

While I still enjoy celebrating my birthday, which was Sunday, it does feel a little strange when I remember that I'm not actually aging. I'm fairly certain I stopped aging about five years ago, when I was twenty, which would make sense since I was about nineteen or twenty when it happened in my dreams. In a few years I'm going to have to magic up a fake ID or something because when I'm forty people are simply going to believe that my current ID is fake if I still look twenty. Oh well, I suppose I have plenty of time until I have to deal with that.

Dream me if fallen in love with everyone, she really loves love or loves the fact people love her. She's an adorable manipulative psychopath always on the run.

It was a late night with work, you'd think my dreams could have waited a few hours before waking me up.

Winie is settling in really well here. After a few nights of sleeping in different rooms throughout the house I think she's decided on the room across from mine as hers. I'll just have to move some of the furniture out of there to storage for her.

I think I'm going to have to skip coming by the club tonight. I'm just not feeling like myself. My emotions are just all over the place and I think I'm starting to turn. I had to give my maid the rest of the week off because all I could think about was what her blood would taste like so I think this is the only solution that will keep me from not losing control.

As promised when I got the news, some of the preview images I got from the shoots the photographer and I did for the spread. I still don't don't which of them is going to be the cover or even which ones will actually make it into the magazine but I think the third one might just be my favorite of the entire shoot although I really like how they all turned out.

The Agency just told me they're throwing a party for when they announce my semi-retirement and as much as I would love to take Chris with me as my plus one I have this annoying little voice saying it probably wouldn't be the best idea.

I suppose I should be used to the dreams not happening very often but I’m just dreading when they actually will come now. It’s almost August. I don’t want to wake up screaming on a holiday.

The clubs are doing so successful, I was able to buy my mom a new car today. She is now the proud owner of a new Prius.

Have you ever had dreams end, but then end up with reruns, like a greatest hits show gone wrong? Had a shit night, then got to revisit my basement cell, my lover forgetting me, and my brother blaming me for leaving him when his 'best friend' asked me to do it. For the record, I was there. Thanks for all that. Maybe next time we can play Damon's favorites. I had hero hair once.

It's July 4th and while some of us are probably pretty cranky about the 'murrica feels, I myself welcome any reason to party.

So I bought out the local water park for the day. We've got bouncy castles, all the grilled food you can handle, a DJ who isn't trying to play Americana songs every three seconds, and probably more fireworks than are strictly legal going off as soon as the sun cooperates with us and gets its ass gone for the day.

Bring your sunscreen and swimwear and come on over. Even if you had other plans. We're gonna be here for a while, por que no los dos?

I have a special treat for you this Saturday. You will not want to miss it. An auction will be held at Lux at midnight to win a date with yours truly. One night only. Dinner and a show…the definition of a show could be I’ll show you mine if you show me yours. So save your pennies, darlings. Bidding begins at midnight and ends when the gavel falls. And oh yes, the proceeds will go to a charity of your choice.

Finally graduated high school in my dreams!

Of course there was a lot of insanity that happened around graduation but at least it ended on a good note!

I still don’t know how my underwear ended up on that billboard by the interstate on the way to my house, but I’m taking it as a sign that the universe doesn’t want me wearing them. And who am I to argue with the universe? I do wish I could remember more about why I took them off at Tony’s party but it was probably fun whatever it was I was doing.

So soon I get the awkward task of telling my ex girlfriend that I'm not a vampire anymore. It shouldn't be awkward, but I mean, how many people become vampires then become human again? Ya know?

Well I’ve always said that the only way I’ll do a biopic is playing either Lord Byron or Oscar Wilde since I am an enormous fan of both of these men. Both for their work and the fact that they lived their lives exactly they wanted, which is something I aspire to myself as anyone who’s met me can tell you is true. We’re going to start shooting the movie in a couple of months here in California and I’ll be playing the one and only Lord Byron. I do wonder what they’re going to do when it comes to the bear though because that's one of my conditions on the project - the bit with the bear has to be there.

Thanks for the tranq dart to the ass, Legal, I think it prevented this hangover from turning into a day at the hospital.

So I'm laying in some cozy corner of this after party mess trying to recover from waking up from being tranq'd when this plucky red-head comes in with coffee, chocolate, and a cleaning crew.

Welcome to the Underworld! Tonight is the night- Saturday. Here we go!

We have a club in Vegas, and we are open!

That's the last time I'm going to try to grab a nap in the office when I get there early. If I'm going to have one of these damn Dreams I'd rather have it in my bed. I'm not going to fall off that like I did the couch. As if figuring out that I'm not any better at making smart decisions about where to live there than I am here wasn't enough of a bruise to my pride. As if knowing that shapeshifters are a thing there isn't enough - vampires are real there too and actually come out a couple years before I move to Bon Temps which is really close to one of the main places they're living in the South. At least here I can say that I didn't know about the crazy before moving so that has to count for something right?

We are right on schedule for The Underworld at Caesars Palace, Las Vegas to have its grand opening on May 27th. It's so close I can taste it.

My biggest issue with Mother's Day, and Father's Day while I'm thinking about it, is that people want to use it to pretend that even the most hellish parents are some type of saint and they get offended when you don't want to play along with their delusion about your parents. You had amazing parents? Great. Lucky you. I'm happy for you honestly. And maybe a little jealous My parents? My mother threw me out of the house the day I turned 18 because my father told her she either threw me out or he'd throw both of us out and fire her from his company after freezing all of her assets. So don't expect me to get all warm and loving about them just because society has decided to give them some damn holidays.
