So now that i have fully settled into life here, I thought I should talk about why exactly I am here. I grew up in a number of orphanages, the latest being Obernewtyn where I now work, we specialize in children that are special these might be learning difficulties, children who just can't make friends, children who are incredibly clever or have special talents that need nurturing etc. After talking to Rushton, the owner of the Orphanage it was decided that I come here and see if we could open up a second branch of the Orphanage here.

If anyone has any information that could help me or would like to help me with this, I would appreciate it if you would let me know.

Did anyone else waste four days watching the Queen's Diamond Jubilee? I've basically sat on my bed and ate take away, lest I miss something important like Kate's hat falling off or Harry kissing a baby.

Shame about Prince Phillip though. Nothing like spending the weekend in the hospital while your wife celebrates being awesome for 60 years.

Not gonna lie, I'm also really excited about the Olympics now.

You know, the longer I'm here, the more I like this place. Weird managerial decisions and all.

Although... you know, I'd heard such terrible stories of the American tabloids, and there doesn't seem to be much going on. Maybe I've just lost my touch?

You know how you have days where nothing goes right? My entire month has been that way. Nothing quiet like being told your classes are getting cut in half, which also means your income is taking a hit, and then that your roommate has decided to move to Seattle - at the end of the month when our lease expires.

Anyone know of apartments where I don't have to sell a kidney to make rent? No time to find a new roommate. Job hunting begins Monday.

Today is like the worst possible day for orphans everywhere. I hate today. It always reminds me of Mom and what I did for her. I only hope she's okay out there with my baby brother.

Must had rained last night, because I woke up today to a leak in my ceiling. The good news is that Mrs. Higgins won't have to replace her roof. But now I'll be spending the day cleaning out the gutters and patching up holes, but it's not as though I had any other plans, so...

Off to Home Depot!

I have managed to secure a job at a local supermarket though I don't know how long I'll last there - really don't like it but it is at least a job for the time being.

If anyone knows of a job that involves animals or children, I would much appreciate it. Back home I worked on the farms at an Orphanage.

In two weeks I've gone from living in a box--essentially--to living in a house, to having a roommate. I mean, she's 85, but still. It's good for a man to have someone to look after, though I let her pretend she's looking after me. Perhaps she is. It's certainly keeping me in check. I really was a good boy at some point in my life, you know.

Lost almost a stone with the illness. Makes my body feel fragile strange. What the heck--fragile. I feel old. Older than Mrs. Higgins, here. Hopefully the weight comes back soon.

But I did accidentally quit smoking. It's difficult to keep that up when you can't breathe. It seems to be sticking, too.

Can I just say my new job is amazing?! It's too bad it's only temporary, but maybe that's for the best. That way it won't mess with my college plans. I've already met a million new people and made at least twenty new facebook friends.

If I get to meet Beats Antique I think I might faint.
