Anyway. Right. Valar net! I've heard quite a lot about it and anyone seems able to post on here. Takes all types, doesn't it? So I'm going to post and ask if there's anywhere to find work. Before my mother really does kick me out on my bum, since I had to bust through the front door when my brother and I lost the house key again.

Most specifically, my brother took out the window and I did in the door. He did tell me that it was easier to fix a window, but I didn't listen. I DID almost bust my hand to bits in the process, before I finally kicked it just so. I think my way was the less messy way, since I would rather clean up splintered wood than a whole lot of glass. That stuff's cutty.

Again. Jobs. Are there any out there? Ones that aren't incredibly boring? I tend to take matters into my own hands when I'm bored and no one wants that!

I've collected several of each type of these creatures for my partner to study. I'm sure he'll be delighted to dissect them. Messy organic things aren't really my forte.

Now the ones I've collected for the test chambers are being highly entertaining. They can't even figure out the button to advance to the next chamber

Well I know that time's not being wasted at my house tonight. Apparently Alyssa is watching National Geographic Wild and learning about hyenas and had to call me at work to share this little tidbit. I know you'll all be as interested as I was: female hyenas have a clitoris that is 7 inches long, shaped like a penis and can become erect.

I just have one question - how the hell do they find this stuff out?

It's not often that I wish for classes to be cancelled, but I'm wondering what my university will do in regards to the air quality for tomorrow. I can't imagine they would want people going out in that with the risk of being sued if something terrible were to happen as a result.

I think a lot of students (at least in my building) are going to just hunker down in the dorm and not leave. Why would we need to when we have internet/cable/cafeteria at our disposal? I hope this doesn't last much longer though. I've heard through the grapevine of people seeing some really creepy things outside now at night. One of them said troll, but I don't know if I believe them.

Soooo, I just let Nymeria out to use the bathroom, cause really, you try telling a wolf she can't go outside, and anyway, she ran off into the woods behind the house, as she usually does and when she came back, she had an arm in her mouth. Don't worry, it wasn't human, but I don't really know what kind it is. Looks kind of gobliny. Or what a goblin arm would look like if goblins were real.

I love my kitty! I have this amazing kitty. Her name is Snowflake. She's pure white with a pink nose, and blue eyes. I got her not too long ago from the veterinary office. She's absolutely amazing. And sleeping on my lap right now!

I apparently drew a summoning circle in my sleep.

With all the work I do with artificial intelligence and robotics, I suppose I have a unique point of view when it comes to the creatures that science fiction seems to produce. But the similarity I've found between most of these books and movies boils down to one question: Can robots feel?

Technology is progressing by leaps and bounds, and yet that question still remains, as it has for decades. I've found myself pondering it, as we draw closer to Valentine's Day, which celebrates love in most all its forms.

Can a robot learn to love? Could we someday progress so far that something mechanical could learn to feel human emotions, as we feel them. Or will they always be subpar, in that respect.

Well, according to my doctor, I'm at week thirteen. I can't believe I've already been pregnant for three bloody months. My app still says I'm in the first trimester, though. I thought that I'd be in the second at twelve weeks. I don't know. Just glad all seems like it's going according to plan, and that Atton's not hovering too badly. I'm still going to work until it's not safe to. I'm just glad I'm not throwing up anymore!

My physics teacher just told me that if I don't bring my grade up then I'm gonna fail and have to take the class over in the summer, which means I won't get to graduate in the spring. So, I need some help. Anyone out there good at physics and want to help me? I guess this is what I get for skipping so much.

Also, Elena and I are talking about selling our house and getting an apartment or something smaller with the money from the sale. She said she knows someone who might be interested, but I know we can't just hand over the keys and stuff. So, I figured I'd see if anyone knows anything about selling a house.

Having taken damage to one eye, I've discovered I look appealing with a white leather eyepatch. At least until the damage can be repaired.

Perhaps I should study peoples' reactions to this. It'll give me something to do until the lab (and my partner) is restored to working order.

I feel like this Arishok person is going to become a fairly large pain in my rear, and soon. We respect each other well enough right now - I'm sure Fenris has helped me in this regard - but respect really only stretches so far between enemies.

Oh. oh now ah get why people keep mentioning a certain someone around me. Well ain't that a kicker. It's sad it made me want comfort food almost immediately. Maybe ah'll start up a big ole pot o'gumbo.. Something from home. Maybe some dirty rice, too.

That was the stupidest, most ridiculous dream ever. But it felt real enough where now I'm a bit worried.

So, I'm back from Scotland sans one boyfriend. Something came up and Gendry had to stay in Scotland to help his parents. He doesn't know when he'll be able to come back, which kind of sucks, but I understand.

Everyone else gets some meaningful picture and whatever cruel science troubles us gives me one of her. Completing a test. THIS IS PORN TO ME

If one, theoretically, were to create a micro-black hole in controlled lab conditions, what do you, the moronslay masses think would happen?

A little bird got into the lab today.

I can distinguish the different molecular compounds that make up a simple sandwich. But I discovered something quite intriguing. Taste.

Our latest experiment is coming along quite nicely. I'm hoping we'll see some real positive results within the week. Of course I've been wrong before, but I'm trying to be more optimistic.

It's truly incredible what nature can come up with. Maybe our species' obsession with sci-fi all draws back to seeing something like these, once upon a time.

My sister really did it, and now it's time to turn the tables. Alleria also needs to get laid. In her case, a woman. Her standards are pretty high.

As she mentioned in her own post we run around in skimpy costumes and shoot arrows at each other.

She also does her own stunts, and is quite flexible.

With some assistance I've developed a system to literally remove the furry menace from our planet.

The question is getting them to the lab.

Does anyone have a solution to that?

Posting open call for all geneticists, biologists, and other scientifically-oriented persons. Creature population size growing increasingly problematic. Suggest working together to find solution. Have already done multiple tests. Findings:

• DNA varies wildly from any other species on earth. Possibly not of terrestrial origin. Sounds far-fetched, but not ruling out possibility.
• Subjects begin reproducing from moment of birth; essentially "born pregnant".
• Attracted to and will eat most carbohydrates.
• No natural predators means population will continue to grow unchecked. Suggest haste in finding solution.

Dani, Dani dear! I have a new experiment we have to try out.

And I thought living here was going to be boring. In the month or so since I've gotten settled in here it's mostly been things like shooing bored kids away from the woods with their spray paint cans, beer bottles, and lighters. I havn't even gotten to shoot a tranq dart at wildlife yet. I'm pretty annoyed about that.

Then this week happens and it's like every exciting thing that could have happened over the last month just got packed into a few days.

I met a guy named Gandalf who posts on 'this crazy net thing', so you can blame him for my presence here, by the way.

Anyway, can someone tell me where I can go to get extremely drunk in the presence of people so I don't have to drink alone?

... And it's a nice pet shop! I was really blessed to get a location that is clean and neat and doesn't look like scary people are going to pop up out of nowhere and mug you and steal your pets and wallets.

I know I wouldn't want to buy a pet from a place like that!

It's over in Huntington Beach, and it's called Fluttershy's Menagerie. Oh, Fluttershy is... I guess... kind of a nickname of mine.

Anyway, I do a lot of the breeding myself, and I sort of made the mistake of getting a bunny friend for my rabbit, Angel...

And now I have ... well... a whole LOT of bunnies for sale. SO many bunnies for sale. They're all adorable and need love and happy homes, won't you come by and take some of these bunnies off my hands?
