I've just booked a flight for next week back home. I need to have a discussion with my husband and some things are better left in person.

The children are actually listening to me. This is bizarre.
I even got Robert to make some major concessions

I guess old habits die hard.

Anyway, it's a new school year, so here's to some new habits. Lydia has been bugging me forever about checking out this place, so I thought I'd give it a shot. You know, if only to shut her up. ;) J/K, Lyd, you know I love you.

Anyway. Hi, Valarnet! I'm Allison. I'm a senior at Santa Ana High and I'm fairly new to California. I just moved out here in May. Um, yeah, I'm really bad at this. Sorry But it's nice to meet you all I guess.

I think I desperately need to get out of my house. I cannot handle the silence as well as I had hoped this week. Anyone want lunch on me? I think human contact is needed.

Nothing is allowed to happen this week. I'm so far behind on my paperwork I literally can't see my desk. Still. I was feeling nostalgic about my time as a teacher, but this month has shown me that I really can't commit to that job anymore. It's mildly depressing.

Nothing like dreaming that your father has set you up to be married, but none of them want to be married to you because you look like a man.

Another weird ass dream. Double dating with people I've never seen before. It was bowling and I had to pretend I was bad at it? What the shit is that?

No woman should ever keep her talents hidden because a guy can't handle that. The boyfriend in my dreams is kind of an idiot.

Speaking of boyfriends, my summer one has left the country. It was nice while it lasted.

Well I have returned home from my trip, er, home to London. Just in time to return to classes. Found this on a board, while I was waiting for my adviser. So hello, there, I am Integra Hellsing.

And now there is a tent behind my house. Not like a tent you camp in, but one from my dreams. It's huge. There is an actual ornate, king sized bed and a large table with actual maps of Westeros and hangings and candles and it's all exactly like in my dreams. Completely authentic. I'm glad I own the part of the beach behind my house, otherwise this would be harder to explain.

Aside from the tent, I dreamt about laying claim to the Iron Throne with the assistance of Loras' father. I have this feeling that my dreams are getting close to the end.

Now that I have my body back, I need to set up a doctor's appointment ASAP. I have no idea what the guy who had my body did with it other than the itching on my thigh, which he claims he has no idea how that happened. I can not even begin to describe how gross I feel and I've already taken two showers today.

Holy mother of awesome I am back in my own body! Body swapping is not nearly as fun as it is in the movies and tv shows. Wow, that was certainly a weird experience.

And I still have all my limbs, yay!

Oh my gosh, Happy Sunday, everyone!

Life is amazing and Orange County is gorgeous, and I've had so much espresso today! I can't believe I get to be here, though, and Zellie was so nice to let me live here with her for a bit.

We're going to be moving to Newport Beach and setting up a new studio! Then I can start recording a new album. Isn't that exciting!? I can't wait to get started.

Oh... and it's me, Jillian Pufka! Really really, I verified and everything!

I find myself lacking motivation of late. Either to do the things I love to do, or to seek out new things to try.

I don't suppose anyone has any suggestions for a hobby?

I have to admit, I do enjoy America. Perhaps it's the....shall we say, diversity....present in the United States. The sane and the insane sit next to each other on the train, albeit the number of insane opinions I heard on the train means I won't be taking it again.

In other news, I was accosted by several youths today. They seemed to assume that my age made me an easy target. I wasn't.

I am beginning to believe I cannot escape the Stark last name no matter where I go.

I think the people known as 'paparazzi' might be the lowliest form of life currently existing. Say what you like about serial killers, at least when they're lurking outside your home they have the courtesy to murder you and end the farce. Or perhaps I'm bitter because the young man currently crouching in a car at the end of my street like a wounded badger.

These creatures nest in trees taking photographs of women's underwear, people's day-to-day going-ons, and newborn infants. They would be arrested if they didn't justify themselves as 'giving the public what they want'. Well, the public are idiots. They don't know what they want. The public will want what they're given if they get enough of it.

The painting I bought last night will be arriving tomorrow. I have to decide if I want to hang it before or after I redecorate. After seems most reasonable, there's no sense putting more holes than necessary in the walls.

We're going to need a loan, soon, which bank should we go through? And yes, it needs to be a bank because I want our credit to reflect our good purchasing habits. We're buying a house.

Well, this crisis has certainly been...interesting. Thankfully it didn't arrive on my doorstep like so many others, and therefore my family is unharmed. Still, it has been a curiosity.

So I finally had a dream like lots of other people seem to have on here. It's not so different from my life, like my parents and uncles are the same but a one big thing is it's in a kind of medieval type of world. It's actually pretty cool!

But the best bit has to be that I'm a Princess! A real life proper princess because dad is the king.

I'm rather glad that school is out now. It's too dangerous out there.

I just don't want them out there right now.

The strange dreams aren't contagious around here, are they? I've lived in Orange County for years without a single disturbing dream and now I've had quite a few. Maybe I should get myself checked out.

You'll have to excuse me if I don't respond right away. It seems the parking lot at work is full of bounce houses and I know a certain little girl who would love to spend some time in one of them.

Few things I hate more than making nice with Robert, but father insists, and trying to deny Tywin Lannister's will is like trying to deny the rising of the sun

What sort of things do people do to occupy themselves out here? There are really only so many wine tastings one can attend. I find myself at a loss for things to do while I wait for my husband to pull the stick out of his ass.

It’s ostensibly marriage counseling, but really, it’s just an excuse for us to yell at each other with out the kids overhearing. Who knows, maybe the sheer hatred could respark the romance between us that once existed, for such a short while a long time ago.

It’s complete crap, of course. The only passion I feel for Robert is the passion necessary to wring his fat neck. Why any woman would voluntarily share his bed...

I did love him, once. It wasn’t entirely a marriage of convenience. It’s still convenient, at least until Tommen is old enough. Even then, it might be convenient to continue the charade, for awhile longer. It’s not like I lack for lovers. Especially my true love.

The counselor suggested I take the children on an extended vacation so I can keep an eye on Jaime so that Robert and I can have a chance to cool down after our latest fight. I suppose this is an intruduction.

I hear the wine country out here is marvelous.

Sometimes I wonder how war vets feel when all the fighting and the blood and the gore and the lives sacrificed and all that horrendous trauma they have gone through have amounted to a big, fat Monday off that everyone else gets to celebrate.

Thank you very much for the day off. I'll leave the reopening of old wounds and reminders of pointless sacrifices to the callous people on television.
