How has everyone's Halloween been going?

Tonight will be my first night in Orange County and I thought I should introduce myself.

I'm Dr. Juliet Burke and I'll be here for a few months, working with the Orange County Sheriff's Office, as well as the surrounding Police Departments, the County Correctional Department, and I will also have office hours for any interested civilians.

I am a Psychiatrist with a specialization in traumatic events. I know that there have been many of those in this area, and have relocated temporarily to help where ever I'm needed. I also deal in Anger Management, Phobias, Night Terrors (and Dreams), as well as every-day occurrences.

I promise food deliveries will be back in full force shortly. I spent the other day dealing with a Dream that transferred over and was rather incapacitated. Hey, I woke up almost dead. It was a fun night. And while I got a little help, my powers are all fucked up. So once I'm feeling better, I'll be back to baking treats. and with Remy in the hospital, I'm worse off than I was. stupid dreams. Stupid feelings So sorry for the interrupted deliciousness deliveries! I'll be fine, please don't worry.

Oh this round of Dreams is just interesting. Makes me miss people who aren't around. Which makes me a little sad.

Okay so uhm... Is it normal to be kinda touchy with your female friends? I mean... Cuddly and stuff? I've pretty much been straight my entire life as far as I'm aware, but we end up hugging and snuggling and none of that feels all that strange either.

I'm just a little confused, I guess.

Okay so I finally get to announce this! It took us a while 'cause like... Lara was pretty horrified in the beginning and I wanted to give her time to deal. Plus there's that 'danger period' I guess?

But HEY!

WE'RE PREGNANT!

I know, right? HOW DID THAT HAPPEN, SAM? Well I'm glad you asked, strangers. As it turns out, when Orange County turns a girl into a man with man parts, those man parts are actually capable of doing what man parts do.

It's currently the size of a lime (but I like to call him or her 'the blueberry') and none of my pants fit, and I think I skipped nausea and went straight to cravings, but we're like... healthy and stuff. And now you know!

Wish I had a more interesting or upbeat reason for my first post, but...

Anyone know of any good therapists for vets? I just moved from Brooklyn a few weeks ago and I haven't had the opportunity to look anybody up yet. Preferably someone with experience with guys coming back with traumatic injuries.

But that is the closest description I can find for what I dreamed. And I'm not generally a dreamer. Certainly not anything so vivid or real feeling as this.

Now that I've had some time to begin adjusting to life in California, I think it's time I introduced myself.

I'm Dr. Irene Adler. I'm a clinical psychologist, and I've just started taking patients at my new practice in at [address] in Newport Beach. In addition to general therapy, I also specialize in helping people deal with grief and with the mental and emotional aspects of moving forward after physical trauma.

California is certainly warmer than New York.
