The first week of work on rebuilding the ranch has drawn to a close. Things are going pretty smoothly out here. The FBI or some other military or something went ahead and removed the meteor from our back yard. We can replant some grass back there, next spring, I think.

A huge anonymous donation was made to the ranch at the beginning of the week, and I wanted to thank whoever that was. I also wanted to thank the Starks for helping us out here and there by offering me and mine a place to stay, the various organizations that also kept my kids fed and sheltered, and Asgard Equestrian for letting us use one of their buildings to hole up in while we rebuild.

If this goes as quickly as it has been, we should have it all complete before winter.

Well, looks like I'm gonna need ta get a full-time job mighty soon. Just done inventory on the farm, and them furry things did such a number on our crops that even with the help we're gettin' from the state, we ain't gonna be able to put food on the table this winter.

I haven't got the faintest idea where to start. I got my GED and all, but I ain't never been nothing 'cept a farmer.

Tyrael, get your leftovers from last week out of the fridge. It's stinking up the whole break room. I bet the FBI doesn't have to put up with this shit.

The others that I've found, I done added to jambalaya after properly seasoning them up and they aren't half bad! Sure, everything tastes like chicken, they say. But in some cases, it's the truth. Like this case! :D

One downside is that I think I ate Baby. But Baby was delicious and kept MAKING babies, so...c'est la vie. Got to get rid of them somehow.

I might also have drank a few too many beers during my culinary adventure.

This town is making me tired.

I've grown accustomed to nightmares. But no amount of pain medication can mask the strain they put on fractured ribs.

I seriously need someone to talk me out of doing something completely crazy. If you have.. let's say.. some kind of magical power in your dreams... that doesn't mean you have magical powers in real life, right?

Are drugs a good surprise present to brighten up a friend's week or am I just a horrible person?

Okay, that's it. Zombie face-biting in Louisiana. I'm getting a baseball bat and a four month supply of frozen pizza.
