With Halloween only three weeks away, I'd like to invite you all to a short revue of classic illusions, escape art, and conjuring tricks on October 31. Some colleagues and I have decided that there's few ways as fantastic as magic to celebrate the occasion, and we've rented out [venue] for the night. It's a small cabaret style setting, with a ten dollar entrance fee, and costumes are more than welcome. It will start at 6:30pm and it looks to be running at just a little more than an hour, so it shouldn't interfere with any other plans.

For those who may not yet know what they're doing, there will be a party in the lounge post-show.

Oh my gosh, Happy Sunday, everyone!

Life is amazing and Orange County is gorgeous, and I've had so much espresso today! I can't believe I get to be here, though, and Zellie was so nice to let me live here with her for a bit.

We're going to be moving to Newport Beach and setting up a new studio! Then I can start recording a new album. Isn't that exciting!? I can't wait to get started.

Oh... and it's me, Jillian Pufka! Really really, I verified and everything!

I can't believe that school is about to start. It's so strange to be going off to college instead of High School. There's orientation to do and classes to make sure I'm registered for. I've got to go make new friends and live in a dorm and try not to get lost. I'm feeling slightly overwhelmed just thinking about it, but at least I've got one friend there already.

Anyone have any tips on surviving college? Oh! And does anyone do any personal training around here? I think I'm going to really start hitting the gym and try to do some sports at school.

This whole being swapped thing? Is amazing. Time to go to every gay bar ever.

You really don't know how nice your own bed and your own bathtub really is until you get stuck in an office building for weeks!

I just went an' had a three hour soak in our bathtub. Three Hours! And I wasn't even interrupted once! It was so wonderful! And then I made myself a delicious brunch with those preserves Theo gave me!

I don't think I ever wanna take havin' a home for granted again.

Funny how whenever weird things happen my first instinct is to pull out my phone and check Valarnet. Dragons, singing squirels, it's been one heck of a week.

Now I'm researching places to host a stag party.

Between being threatened by a walking pile of neuroses and worrying about something coming up in my personal life, I've been under a bit of stress. So, I sincerely thought I was going crazy this morning when my dog Winston appeared to ask me for fresh water. In English.

Now that I know I'm not crazy, I do have a bit of a problem, though. I'm used to quiet, plus the occasional bark. What I am not used to is seven voices loudly chattering amongst themselves. Haven't had a meltdown that bad in years.

Would anyone be willing to give two or three dogs a temporary home for however long this lasts? These things tend to be transient, but still. I can't demand they be quiet all the time, but I can't live with what sounds like a very loud party in my house at all times.

As weeks go, this one doesn't seem to be great. I'd really appreciate it if the universe would stop messing with my friends and family.

Now I'm worried something will happen while my mom's in town, and I'll forever hear about how I tried to kill her by bringing her to a war zone or how I should have planned for a. . . fairy invasion or some nonsense like that.

What is it now? 3-0? I'm actually starting to lose count of how many disastrous wedding attempts Tony and I have had at this point.

Despite popular opinion The Dragons were NOT a part of the wedding event. We did not hire dragons or a dragon tamer to put on a show during the reception. Believe me, I checked the invoices and our bank accounts. I thought it was another terrible idea of Tony's at first too.

We will, of course, be paying the hospital bills for anyone who was harmed during our attempted wedding. Please, everyone, accept our sincerest apologies for yet another wedding mishap. I'm not sure we will be attempting another one on such a large scale.

I bought the cutest bikini today.

Who wants to go with me to the beach tomorrow? My treat.

I never knew my father, not to the degree I would have liked. I have a few photos of him that my mother left me, so that I can remember what he looks like. My own earliest memories of him are dim, but I cling to them as best I can. A smell, I think it was his cologne. The warmth of his arms around me before he left for the last time. Sometimes, in a dream, I even remember his voice. Just softly, like a whisper.

He was a doctor, the kind that travels to other countries to provide aid. One day he went out there and never returned. But... I've never been angry at him for putting himself in danger like that. To me, he was a hero. All I've ever wanted was to be like him.

I feel like I'm closer to that now than I have ever been in my life. Since he is gone... this is the best father's day gift I can give him. I hope it is enough.

So, I'm just gonna say it. Ned Stark is the best father ever. I mean, he'd have to be to put up with six of us for this long. I'm surprised he doesn't have any greys yet. He must be A super hero or something.

It's a shame he's not actually on here cause it'd be more fun if he actually saw this.

I have officially had it with my dreams.

I wore my crazy dream-aunt's skin to fool a demon and make out with him long enough to kill him. Seriously. Head to toe wearing someone's entire body skin and it was gross and goopy and did I mention giving a demon tongue?

I've finally got things squared away enough where I can take a little vacation for myself, but now I have no idea where to go. It's sad when all I wanna do is stay home and make jam, right?

When I say you've had enough, you'd have enough an' I'm kickin' your arse out. Be grateful I felt like calling a cab.
