I never really consider myself a physical person, like, ever. I mean I hated sports when I was younger, hard to play anything with the coke goggles I used to have to wear (thank fuck for contact lenses) but ever since moving out here I've found that running first thing in the morning actually helps to clear my head.

That and yoga.

It helps that the instructor's nice.

I find yoga to be exceptionally relaxing too. I wasn't terribly active before living here. I'm not one for running, my legs wouldn't manage it, but I do like hiking.

Hiking is also a really good form of exercise and also really good for just getting out of your head.

Like I said, I only walk them, but Santiago Oaks Regional Park has a lot of options, and I like the Anaheim Cove trails.

I'm not much of a runner, especially since I figured out recently I can fly and that's a lot faster than running but I've heard good things about yoga, and how it can help settle a busy mind or whatever and I definitely have a busy mind.

Yoga is really good for that. You should definitely try it sometime. I mean I know it's hard going along to classes on your own so if you're interested I can give you the details of where I go and at least it won't be totally awkward.

I've never tried yoga, but I go running almost every morning with my dog and it really is a great away to work out and just let go of the things that are bothering you.
