So! Now that people aren't looking like smurfs anymore, Always will be returning to our regular business hours this week! We'll be hosting a special celebration night later in the month when everyone can come and dance the night away and enjoy amazing blended drinks with umbrellas if you'd like to wait, but if you don't mind a nominal cover charge before then, we have some amazingly fun activities planned and need to make the most of our January events before we swap over, thought eighties night will of course be the same as ever.

We WILL however, be having a special night for medical personel this Friday. Sexiest doctor, nurse and paramedic contest with first and second place winners of both genders in either category. Your mystery prize has an actual cash value and is designed to make you feel appreciated in all that you do. Admission Friday is also free for medical personnel with valid IDS, and the first drink on the house.

It isn't much and kind of stupid, but it's what we'd like to do to at least say thank you in our own, slightly twisted way.

Oh my gosh, Unicorns are the most wonderful thing in the world. Now that I'm back in my own bed, I've been dreaming again. Unicorns, Prefect Duties, watching Ron Weasley play quidditch. That song's catchy, even if Draco was a douchebag in writing it. I helped, too. God, I'm such a bitch in my dreams. Wtf.

Anyone else have dreams about being a total jackass?

I feel like I should say something happy here to counteract all the problems with this blue virus, especially since I don't have it myself right now, but the only thing that I can really focus on is the fact that my dreams are getting...so much more disturbing. The most horrible things keep happening there, and it's hard to get them to go away.

Does anybody on here offer therapy or know somebody who won't think the dreams are fucking insane? I have too much going on in my head to think I can go on with this and keep pretending it's okay. I don't want to be a downer, I really don't want to be a downer but...

My wrist hurts.

But I think I'm gonna go nuts if this keeps happening.

I'm hoping everyone makes it through this outbreak. Being the eternal optimist that I am, I would like to propose a free drink and dancing night at Always to celebrate life! Everyone and anyone is welcome, when people are feeling better again and up to it! Maybe next month?

I can't...

I am never NEVER having Thanksgiving with my family again. I thought I'd try actually being nice and family like and swung over there for a little while yesterday. Key word there being thought. It was one of those disasters almost worthy, but not quite, of A Christmas Story. Only, well, instead of turkey attacking dogs, think five of my six brothers, twenties and late teens range, running full tilt at the thing.

There was kind of a wrestling match over drumsticks, yeah. I knew I should have been at Always for the Turkey Trot event or you know, safe at home, or something. Too much chaos.

I mean no one got put in the ER or anything but overall? Kind of a disaster. Scary! And a warning for Christmas, I think. Pretty sure we at least need to bring a shrink along next time we get together.

I know that there are quite a few people out there that are phone-savvy and enjoy playing games on them.

I have to express my deepest sadness that I have run out of Angry Birds to play. I have played all of the Angry Birds, now, even the ones in space, though I still am wondering how those pigs managed to get those eggs into space to begin with.

They do not seem very bright, you see. I am certain they would have broken all of the eggs on the way, and then the birds would have been quite saddened by this.

I am wondering if any of you could recommend a game for me to try next, that is as enjoyable as Angry Birds has been?

Announcing the Always Halloween special events! Included with your admission to the club for a night of fun on October 30th-November 1st will be the chance to participate in fun and amazing events, themed especially to the holiday, and to the Mexican Day of The Dead. So. With that in mind, here’s a look at what we’re doing. Hold on to your pants, at least until you get there.

October 30th: Devil’s Night:

Sexiest Devil Competition. Do YOU have what it takes to seduce our amazingly exacting audience? Perform your best and most wicked number, and try your luck. Winners will be chosen by applause meter, and awarded a special night in the club for them and a special someone.

Fire Eating Performances as well, and of course, a wide range of our sexiest and most seductive beverages. Come out, get naughty, and have some fun.

October 31st: Halloween Costume Contest! Prizes will be awarded in the following categories:

Sexiest Costume

Scariest Costume.

Most Convincing Drag Costume

Prettiest Costume.

Best Pet Costume

Audience Choice (Creativity is key here. Anything goes)

Judge’s Choice: (Again. We’ll pick a costume that demonstrates something amazing and creative that we love. Impress us!)


November 1st: La Dia De Los Muertos. Maragrita, Sangria, and other fiesta themed beverages, along with catering by Taco Especial will provide you with a chance to face your fears of mortality, party in the name of those who’ve gone before, and enjoy authentic cuisine, decorations and dancing, featuring the hourly pinata game for special coupons, prizes and other fun items to be used in the club or with someone you love.

We will also be screening the classic film “The Road To Eldorado” in the bar. Tulio and Miguel, just good friends, or something more? Discussion and drinks over the movie that first gave many of us a pretty good idea of where we stood...
