Some of you guys were really helpful before so I'm trying this again because now I actually need help.

The A/C at my house just went out and it's frickin hot. Why anyone planning and building thought East/West facing was a good idea I just have no polite words for them. My mom is out of the country and has no reception right now is out of town this weekend and I know repair people don't usually work on weekends but I don't even know a good place to start.

Anyone here have the hook-ups? Recommendations? Not exactly keen on opening the Yellow Pages, closing my eyes, and pointing. Angie's List requires membership. I don't trust Google and Yelp hasn't been helpful.
