You know, I'm not much of a fan of how the dreams seem to stop mid adventure. The good news is, we saved the Court of Miracles from being blown to bits. Now we've been sent to help a mother and a child. It appears my dream self has an alarmingly similar history to my real self. Not the most comfortable of things to bring to mind. Ah well.

If anything, I'm reminded of how badly I'd quite like a family.

Also, in case you were wondering, only a mere twenty-two days left until World Cup time.

My folks are still gone on their vacation thingy-madjiggy, and the house is big, creaky, and empty. Thank god Elsa's staying with me, but when she heads out it's like... BOOM. Big, Empty House. The hallways echo and stuff.

...I really need to stop watching scary movies when I've got the dark, empty house to myself. :(

Okay, I want it on record that I haven't actually been high on anything in like six months. So why the weird dreams?

I dreamt I was an Irish girl who lived in like, the 1880s or something like that. I started real poor and all that, and then I moved to London and I guess I became a hooker? I made friends with other hookers and yeah, that was super depressing.

Ugh. Gross mouthbreather guy at work found out that I'm single. I didn't know what to say when he was all HEY LET'S GO OUT and was breathing garlic on me so I sort of panicked and walked off. I didn't even say no, I just went AUGH and walked away.

... that counts as a no, right? I hope that counts as a no.

Some kid tried to kick Samus, so I picked him up and made him promise not to ever hurt another animal or I'll tell my uncle that he's been bad.

I might have also convinced him that the monster under his bed is my uncle. I either turned that kid away from being a serial killer or pushed him toward it way faster.

Oh well.

A lady tipped me $50 today for getting a knot out of her back. Made my morning - a lot of my clients don't even know you're supposed to tip.

My rent's already covered, so anybody know a good place where the rum's good but won't break the bank? I'm tired of my usual haunts and want to go have a little fun.

People claiming to be different ages than they normally are.... Is this some kind of elaborate April Fool's trick?

I've had more than one person I work with, at the shelter, tell me that I work too much and should take some time off for me. That I should hire someone to help me out, like an assistant, but I worry that when I'm not here that something will go wrong. I know they're probably right, but I'm so picky about my other employees, I can't even imagine how picky I'd be about an assistant.
