Our all-woman version of the Scottish Play will be wrapping up soon. Sadly our Macbeth will be leaving for New York once it's all done. I'll miss her more as a friend than a castmate, honestly.

Things really are pretty bizarre in this place, aren't they?

My world, however, remains strikingly normal. Auditions are coming up for Giselle, so I've been rehearsing more and more. IcyHot is definitely my friend.

My mother has sent me home with enough left overs to last me until the End of Days. Well, maybe not that much but still. I'm starting to think she's convinced that I'm still one of those college kids that lives off of pizza. Secretly I'm glad though because mom's cooking is amazing. Now If I can just keep it away from my roommate...there's the challenge.


Also Hello I'm Claudia. I'm usually behind on the social media tools but someone said this was a pretty nifty place. Since I have no idea what to even put on here I'll just give a few random facts about myself.

1. I love old movies. Like Humphrey Bogart and Clark Gable old movies.
2. I have a rabbit. His name is Hermey.
3. I firmly believe that take out taste better when its a leftover than when it's fresh

SOMEONE SAID THE NAME OF THE PLAY TODAY

Gather around, children. It's time for an illustrious tale about what happens when your 'good luck' powers fail.

Your typical morning convenience store run, right? Eggs, some beer, a pack of smokes. I get there and the place is being held up by some mook. Easy enough to intervene when you're me, only... my gun jams. And I end up taking him down with a can of beans. Don't even ask.

The eggs broke on the way home when a yellow light went red too fast and they slid off the seat.

Back to the store to get more goddamned eggs and some freaking moist towelettes, another mook is trying to shoplift. I wield my trusty can of beans against the guy, slip on a leaky fridge spill (that wasn't even THERE the last time), and in the end the cops almost arrest ME when I hand the kid over.

And I forget the eggs and had to go back. Again.

I am so ready for the victory party.

With the intensity of Macbeth, it really is a relief to be able to focus just on that now. These have been the longest two weeks of

Well that's done. It seems the police have caught the man who was following me and things are able to go back to normal. Or normal for here. Anyway, one less thing to worry about.

Sometimes it feels as if all I do now is rehearse. Between the rehearsals in the dreams and waking up as if I'd been rehearsing to then go rehearse for Carmina Burana... I suppose it's helped though. And I know it won't last forever as Carmina Burana is at the end of the month. Silver linings.

Does anyone here get afflictions? From dreams. I can't explain it anyway else. I can't explain it even really by saying I'm like this because I dreamed it but

This happens. Right? I've read about it.

It's forced my hand in a suspension a temporary step down from my spot with Irvine PD.

So here's my New Year so far:

Got married on New Year's Eve, though it was so early in the morning it might as well have been New Year's Day. At least I won't be able to forget my anniversary date. That's a point in the good column.

Friend mysteriously re-appears from the dead. Drama, but I guess we'll put that in the good column.

Other bestie gets possessed by darkness which we inevitably end up cutting out of him the medieval way. He dies. Points in the bad column. He comes back. Points in the good column, but God. Damn, 2015, lets not make this a pattern.

Bar fight of epic proportions, and me so drunk that I'm still hungover a few days later? Well, at least the wife's learned how to use surgical staples. The bar owner isn't pressing charges, but I'm pretty sure I cracked a rib. Points in both columns.

What a hell of a way to start THIS year off.

Has anyone found any proof yet that these dreams are just dreams? Nothing based on past or alternate lives or... or parallel worlds or anything like that? Statistics about how related dreams are just a bizarre coincidence?

I need to know that they're just dreams. Just realistic dreams. Really, really, really realistic dreams.

My theater is going to be doing the Scottish Play in March and we have an open call for several parts! We have a very large auditorium that was renovated last year, and in addition to Shakespeare we've done several plays of my own writing.

This week can go to hell.

I don't recommend getting shot.

So I'm five days in to the next year of thirty-something and I already want to go back. I swear to god I actually FEEL old this time. I went to get out of bed and one of my knees actually creaked. It made an honest to god creaky noise, like it needed oil or something.

And yeah, you know how they say your body never really recovers from getting shot? A few of my old war wounds are getting pretty damned grouchy.

That's it. I want a do-over.

I used to like this time of year, but I don't so much any more.

Well, the chip in my head is finally disabled, and you honestly don't want to know how. Let's just say that I'm going to be tasting burnt metal in my mouth for... you know... a week or so.

And I'm like hey, it could be worse! At least the thing didn't paralyze me. Can you even imagine what level of grouchy pain in the ass I'd become if I couldn't bounce around like a crackrabbit anymore? Don't answer that, Clarice.

I just wish that I could shake this strange feeling like everything's 'off' somehow. I got so used to fighting the damn chip that now that it's off I don't know how to use my powers anymore.

Finally introduced my fiance to my parents, it went well.

But last night I had some really messed up dreams. Most of my dreams are messed up to begin with, but these were a new kind of messed up.

Usually I dream about visiting parallel realities, this time I was dreaming I was another version of me. Second time that's happened.

One of the worst-case scenario world for mutants I've seen. Constantly hunted by giant robots bent on killing my kind.

So.

After being unable to stay awake for long stretches for like, three days or something, I haven't been sleeping much lately. I've been inventing a lot, and, uh... binge watching on Netflix. Peep Show. For the win.

Just shot my TV. I guess it's time to lock all the guns up in the armory until this latest bought of OC fuckery is over with. Assuming I can get past the gigantic Demon in the basement.

Finally finished piecing all of my dreams together. And figuring out which ones are the ones that weren't dreams after all.

Hello! I thought I'd introduce myself on the network since I'm new to Orange County. I am a transplanted Chicagoan--I came to California for college and ended up staying.

My name is Hank McCoy (I do have a couple of Ph.Ds, but there's no need to call me "Doctor" unless you want to) and I'm in biochemical research, currently. I enjoy cultural events in addition to science--I have a great love of music, musical theatre, and drama.

The bad thing about a healing factor is you can't get forget-the-world drunk when you need to.

Day.. what number are we on ... of Babysitting turned camping party. I am pretty sure there is not enough booze in the world to handle this migraine. Also woke up after a dream, not a Dream, just a regular dream, but it wasn't mine.


That. Is going to take some getting used to. So while I'm me and functional, I'm going to go make us real food. You know because surviving on smores, jerky and beer is not actually a good idea. Any requests? if not you may get a weird mix of Southern and Canadian. Fair warning.

If you ever have the chance to absorb someone's personality into your head SAY NO. Waking up from a dream that is, you know, not about me or mine, or even a Dream, is so awkward it's not even funny.

I'm the most anal retentive person I know when it comes to laundry. I don't even let my poor socks go into the washing machine by themselves. I always keep them in their pairs, using a couple of handy compartmentalized mesh bags.

'Cause you know. The dryer claims a sock or two otherwise. It's a sacrificial thing.

Today, I'm pulling my mesh bags out of the dryer and every damn compartment only has one sock in it. Clarice? Scott? Are you guys pranking me? It's not fucking funny.

I'm supposed to take it easy, but it's good to be at home again, instead of in a hospitable bed.

Ah, California. It's been many years since I've been on this side of America, though I must say that I spent most of that time in San Francisco and not here in Orange County. I am quite happy at the prospect of spending an extended amount of time here.

My name, as I'm certain it's considered standard to introduce oneself, is Max Eisenhardt. I am a professor and will be teaching at UCI come fall. I feel perhaps there aren't many on this network my age, but I do like to keep up with the times. If one does not embrace progress then one will find themselves quickly out of touch, after all. I do wonder perhaps if some of my prospective students are here?

Och.

The Frost Academy will be celebrating its first graduating class in just a few short weeks. Five exceptionally gifted young men and women, off to grab their own piece of the world, if they can. And of course they can, because we've given them every tool they need to not only succeed, but astonish.

Which means, of course, that we'll have five new slots for first years in another few months. Most of them are already taken, but I've got two open. If you are the parent of a gifted child and you're finding educating them to be an exercise in frustration, by all means, schedule an appointment. It's a bit late in the year to have applied to a school like mine, but as I've got the slots open, I may as well fill them at the last minute.

Going to Hawaii tomorrow! Well, later today anyway. I'm looking forward to this. I need the break. And I guess we're officially girlfriends now. Going on vacation together and everything.

That wasn't even my plan when I came back to the OC.

A week and a half in Hawaii sounds like the best damn recovery plan ever. Just me, my amazing girlfriend, my kid, and good times.

So you better stay good, times, you hear me? No bullshit until we get back.

It would appear my dreams aren't actually over at all. In fact, they've taken a rather peculiar turn and aren't even remotely similar to what I've been dreaming of this last year. It's like an entirely different world.

A world where Asgard exists in the middle of Oklahoma (I kid you not), where we've all been scattered through out the world and it's up to none other than our shining champion to call us home, and where I've been summoned home as a woman. Okay so I stole someone's body but There are many familiar faces but many new ones I've not dreamt before.

Also, it should be noted that now in comparison, my former dream self wasn't even all that bad. This new dream me is far more evil and malicious than I might have expected. It's sort of delightful.

Man, there is no better feeling than the one you get when you cut that fucking hospital medical bracelet off of your wrist. Except maybe that first cigarette you get to put in your mouth as you're leaving.

Now all I need is a real vacation.

I've noticed quite a few musical and theatre type people in the network, lately, and I had something of a thought. If enough people are interested, I thought it might be interesting to have a bit of a showcase of local talent. If you play an instrument or sing, you're welcome to do that. If you'd like to perform a monologue, or find a partner and do a scene, you are invited to do so.

There will likely be some sort of audition process, once I see how many people would be interested in such a thing. Please let me know here, so I can get a tally started.

How is it that Easter has the best candy of all the holidays?

Oh my god, I am so excited I'm bouncing. The next theatre production is Romeo and Juliet, and guess who was cast as Tybalt, Prince of Cats!

I can fit into my own pants again! Thank God. If that had been permanent I think I might have cried.
