Award show hangovers are always the most interesting and I'm fully blaming my date for this one. But that was certainly one interesting Grammy's. Kayne West really needs to be seated at the back of the audience so he doesn't have enough time to run up on stage and ruin some poor person's moment.

And now I'm off to find some water to soothe this headache. Not sure what made my headache worse - the drinks or the Dreams that decided to happen last night. Can I take an aspirin to prevent those from happening anymore?

I'm going to need new curtains. And a new fish tank. Possibly a new couch.

Acceptable losses, really.

Another dream another bad guy trying to kill me. So, I briefly saw Spider-man again as someone chased me down an alley. It's too much for my dream self and she decides to call the X-Men, but the moment they tell her to give up singing in order to join them she declines. I get where she's coming from, but seriously? Come on girl, you need a group to keep you safe and develop what powers you have.

But apparently I made an impression on some of them because this one member, Beast, showed up at my apartment telling me about a gig that was hiring and I ended up beating another girl to get it, which I totally knows how that girl. But of course this woman is a crazy villan named Enchantress and with the powers of X-Men, The Avengers, The Fantastic Four, and Spider-man we all end up defeating her and they help convince this agent to take me on.

What in the world is my dream world. I must admit it'd be pretty awesome to have all those superheroes show up for a show.

So I've been seeing a load of stuff about crazy dreams. Past lives, or some of that sort of rubbish. I never much bothered paying attention to anything on here until recently when my job became so soul rending I needed to reach out for friends, is that pathetic? Yeah, kind of is.

Is this something that happens to everyone? It seems like it from what I've been reading, but it sounds fuckin' mad to me. Any theories from those of us that, like me, still have a full grasp on reality? I personally can't decide if I believe what these people say, or if I'm just lucky I drink bottled water rather than anything from the tap.

Wow, can't believe Christmas has come already! I'm hopping on a plane to go to New York tomorrow and see my family. I would bring them here, but I can't see my parents really enjoying being in the same house. And I absolutely love how New York goes all out for Christmas and I can see a few of my Broadway friends when I go back there.

But I know I'm getting exhausted because I was at the studio until the wee hours of the morning. I crashed hard when I got home this morning and had more weird dreams. I dreamt of being back in New York and attacked by this crazy thing of light and Spider-man showed up to save me. The crazy ball of light turned out to be a man who ended up attaching me to some weird contraption and attempted to absorb my powers. He ended up taking over my body and I have very vague memories of what happened while he was in control, but it wasn't good. Eventually Spider-man helped stop him and get him out of my body.

If this is what happens when you're a mutant in these dreams then I'd much rather just stop having them all together. I'm just going to cross my fingers that I don't have any during my trip because they leave me feeling all out of sorts when I wake up.

Thank God I have a secretary who does all the Christmas Shopping for me. Trying to figure out what to get everyone is torture. If it was up to me, everyone would just get money. Or gift cards, or whatever. That's the easiest thing. I hate shopping.

If anyone likes good music, or just wants somewhere to go in all this snow, you should come to the Cellar's open mic tonight. We've got hot drinks, plenty of food, and the best Christmas tree on the West Coast.

I'm afraid that I am in a bit of a quandary this morning, and thus, feel the need to put the question to the community at large:

Did everyone wake up to both unseasonable snow and a wolf in their beds, or am I alone in this situation?

The wolf answers to the name Diefenbaker, although "answer" may be overstating his responsiveness a bit. If this wolf is, indeed, the wolf from the particularly vivid dreams that have been plaguing me of late made manifest, I must admit I am quite perplexed.

I haven't had a blog since I was about 15, so this is weird for me.

I'm Teddy--I'm a friend of Billy's, and I've just started dreaming, and he said that this is the place you go to meet other people who have dreams, so here I am.

You might know me as Hulkling, if you share the same dreams that Billy and I do.

I'm really interested in talking to people who are aliens (meaning not human) or shapeshifters, since that's what I have to look forward to.

Whoever decided that kitten therapy is a thing may be my best friend.

I really wish I had one of those boxes some days. Or actually, maybe I should just get a kitten or two. I've been wanting a pet for a while and it'll help keep me company in this big 'ol place.

Especially since I'm still undecided about what to do for Thanksgiving. Not sure if I want go visit my parents or if I want to stay here. And if I do stay here, not completely sure where I what I would do for Thanksgiving. I would attempt to make my own dinner, but I may burn down the place.

My Art History Professor assigned this HUGE project and it's due on my birthday. :( I know what I'll be doing ALL WEEKEND LONG. :( No parties for me.

I've done a lot of lurking and reading on this network and while I was always skeptical of everyone posting about these weird dreams I guess I'm not allowed to be anymore.

I've usually got weird normal dreams - ya know, forgetting the words to a song in the middle of a performance, showing up to a meeting naked, etc. But these were just ... they hit too close to home.

I dreamt of me, but my whole life story was completely different. And the thing that really hit me was the fact that I can totally see every single thing that was changed in my life as something that could have actually happened. And to make it even stranger all of this was set in the 80's and I was still living in New York trying to be a disco singer of some sort.

Now that all seemed like maybe I had some bad Thai food before dinner, but then these people in weird suits crashed my performance and then this group of people called the X-Men fought against them. They then proceeded to tell me I was some kind of mutant, put me in a car, and took me with them to Chicago to save more of their friends. That was the first time I ever had to fight using these "powers" I had in the dream and helped rescue everyone. Their leader, Professor Xavier, offered me the chance to join them, but this dream me wanted nothing to do with them and just wanted to go back to singing.

And then I woke up and I was glowing Am I going crazy?

Oh my.

I was scrolling through facebook and saw an uberfact that said, "New Yorkers bite 10 times more people than sharks do worldwide."

I feel like I should be thankful that I never got bit by anyone when I lived in New York. Hopefully moving out here is a lot more mellow and I don't get bitten by sharks in the ocean either.

I've made the terrible mistake of marathoning horror movies the past couple nights after moving into a brand new place. Let's just say my mind is really good at coming up for a zillion possibilities for what is causing that weird noise I hear down the hall.

I was so tempted to sleep with a baseball bat next to my bed just in case. At least now I've thought of every possible escape route out of my place.
