So I finally found out what those words I was saying in my Dreams months ago meant. Catty and I skipped class in the latest dream to go visit her mom’s store and ask her. Apparently they were a prayer in Latin that meant - O Mother Moon, Queen of the Night, help me now. So that’s good to know? I might have to keep it in mind to use here next time things get crazy because if they calmed DreamVanessa and made her feel better maybe they’ll help me find that same calm here.

Mother's Day, or Just Another Day I Ignore My Mother's Existence.

But also a day where I get a call from my own kids, which sure as hell makes up for the other thing.

So I moved back to my parents’ today since the semester ended and I was just unpacking and it’s the weirdest thing, none of my socks are there. I know I packed then cause I checked to make sure I didn’t leave anything behind. But what’s even stranger is that any socks I had here at home are also missing. Is there a sock thief going around?

Damn. My blaster vanished. I was just really having fun with that.

I don't remember the...fun lasting quite so long last year. Am I wrong?

I did a sweep of the area earlier to get an idea of just how many areas the droids were located and it's honestly not a lot, but there are a lot of droids. I took out a few tanks from the sky cause those are probably the ones we really need to worry about. The B1s, the ones honestly aren't that hard to take down. Yesterday BB8 managed to distract a few to give me a chance to pick em off with the Bowcaster I got. That thing is pretty awesome. I can see why it's Chewie's weapon of choice.

I really wish Rey and Finn were here cause I think they could have had a good time taking down some of these guys.

Oh, hey everyone, just a general PSA:

Stay out of the battlefields. The skinny droids are dangerous only in numbers. Individually, they dumb as rocks and easy to fool and destroy. They really aren't well made. There's just a lot of them in the battlefields.

It's the ones that roll that you have to be concerned about. They have shields and canons and they move fast in rolling form. Be careful with them.

Okay, so after becoming a Shadowhunter over the weekend, I thought that was going to be the coolest thing to happen lately, but now I have a freaking Lightsaber in my hand! I was fully prepared to take on a couple droids with a Seraph Blade, but I can't pass up the chance to go full on Jedi! This is amazing!

Also, if anyone needs healing let me know and I can come to you. I'm doing a decent job at destroying the droids I've come across so far. This is definitely a learning curve, haha.

I stumbled into some kind of battlefield. Like the terrain and everything changed and there were these robots everywhere.

I seem to have an unlimited supply of grenades that knock them out so between that and freezing them with my ice powers I'm okay.

Really confused. But okay.

Today has been like a seven cup of coffee kind of day. Pretty sure it needed to be in an IV. It felt long. Thankfully its the weekend.

Ended up waking up with a giant gash in my leg. I am honestly shocked I didn't go into shock from the blood loss. I swear if we don't make it out of this stupid game then I better take this asshole with me. At least Katniss is still alive, we'll see if I make it.

I think I have been through most of Netflix. I am running out of things to watch. What are some suggestions? I also have HULU!

Does anyone else collect things in games specifically to give away to other people? I don't really have any need or use for any of the pirate themed things in Animal Crossing. It doesn't really fit my island's vibe or anything. But you better bet I spend however long I have to trying to find that drunk seagull's phone for him just so I can send them on to Nico later. I also have a collection of art my museum already had ready for Hazel when she comes back home from her internship.

It's really weird thinking I'm almost done with college. When I first joined this network, I was trying to decide between schools. And complaining about my high school drama dept changing what we were doing for the end of the year. And now I'm a few months away from graduating, I have a job, I've been in a professional production, I've been an extra on film, and I have a following making videos online.

It's weird how much I've grown up in the past four years. And I'm just really glad I had all of you to help me along the way.

I don't see how all of a sudden our pets are a problem when they weren't when we moved in. One of the reasons we picked this complex was because it was so pet friendly. But we just got a copy of the new lease to sign, and all of a sudden "no tenants are allowed pets too large to live in a cage or aquarium". We didn't get a new landlord or anything, same landlord. But drastically different rules for no reason.

Obviously, we're not signing it and aren't renewing. So now we need to find a new place that allows pets, preferably in or near Irvine. I just don't understand why they decided out of the blue no one should have any cats or dogs. There haven't been any instances of anything around here that I'm aware of.

I'm making good progress on writing out the stories I'd made up for the twins and revising and polishing them. I still haven't found an artist yet to illustrate them. I know if I don't find anyone, the publisher will probably find someone they like for it, but I'd rather ask here first if any one here is either an artist who would like to work on a children's book, or if anyone knows anyone who would like to work on a children's book?

Wait, so Elon Musk is really hosting SNL? When I first heard it I thought it was a joke, but it's actually true. I mean, why? What is the reason they thought that was a good idea? I'm wondering if this episode will be one of the least watched or if people will watch just to see if he sucks as much as they assume he will. I can already envision a lot of obvious cue card reading in this episode.

But then I usually have a new one near the beginning of the month.

Can they just go away now? I don't need to listen to their every little... well, whatever. Some of them are even speaking languages I don't understand.

The saddest thing I've ever had to admit to myself - reliving Junior year of high school is a highlight of my Dreams so far. I'm attending the same high school my parents went to when they were teenagers and knowing that I'm determined not to look at any of the pictures. I know if I see a picture of them in that building I'll have a breakdown like I did at their funeral and who wants to be known as the girl who freaked out in the middle of the halls on her first day right?

Luckily for me the girl I met at the hospital, Kat, found me in the halls and gave me a brief rundown on the people we passed. Until we got to Cole who she was more interested in filling me in on her history with one of his friends and warning me to steer clear of the group because they're bad news. I was going to just leave it at that but then I locked eyes with Cole and had a vision. Which I've never had happen before. It was very weird and not sure it's something I'd want to experience here because I woke up from it feeling disoriented and dizzy.

You know... these dreams are something else. Especially when it seems a person, in them, lives for centuries before leaving a tribe. That's downright crazy.

You know, there are some days I question being a surgeon and other days I don't. I prefer it over being a cop, though. No offense to my parents.

You know, sometimes, I think Luke thrives on making me absolutely crazy. Some of the things he talks about confuses the hell out of me. I'm not into the tech stuff. Not like him.

I didn't realize I'd been burning the candle at both ends as badly as I have been until I got home tonight - I used my face wash on my hair instead of my conditioner. I didn't even realize the mistake until after I'd done it. I think I need to take a few days off and just relax, maybe take some naps. Take Kurt to the park or the beach.

Caught my cat eating plastic wrappers. Food dish was full, he was just crunching on the plastic like it was the tastiest treat imaginable.

As someone who was diagnosed with adhd as a child and is currently in medschool, you would think I would remember that simulants have the opposite effect on me than they do most people. And yet here I am, waking up after falling asleep from drinking the coffee I made to help me study for exams.

Tiktok changed the max time for videos from 60 seconds to three minutes. And I'm not sure if I'm annoyed with the change, or if it means I get to be creative with future videos. Because honestly, for me? Getting what I wanted into the time limit was part of the creative process.

I never thought that parenthood would consist of telling my kids pouring catnip into the water bowl so our cat can have tea time was a bad idea, but that was my day today.

So, parents of Orange County, what is your moment of "nothing prepared me for this weird part of parenthood"?

Has anyone else ever walked into their apartment to find their significant other vacuuming, but they're wearing a hoodie backwards with one of your pets in the hood like a weird kangaroo pouch? Because that's exactly how I found Armin and Mopsy today. And apparently he does this all the time, and I'm worried for no reason?

Three weeks in and I am glad I made the jump to a new firm.

Also, my kid is about to graduate kindergarten. How did that happen?

I'm thinking about maybe doing another show. Now that things have settled down, and Julian is home and all. I miss being on stage. There's nothing like the energy of performing in front of a live audience.

The emergency vet clinic is an eerie place in the middle of the night. I had to take Patch because she ate an entire bag of chocolate, and chocolate is deadly for dogs. They gave her a shot, and I think she feels like I betrayed her because I let it happen. But so far, she seems to be fine.

I think this is the longest stretch I've gone without dreaming. I know I'm probably jinxing myself.

Been about a week since my last anxiety attack. Having a service dog has really helped. I just wish people would stop slapping the 'emotional support animal' label on companion pets. It gives the true working dogs a bad reputation. My dog is trained to respond to any fluctuation in my mood, and he intervenes and keeps my anxiety from spiking. I need him by my side when I go into new situations, he is literally the only thing keeping me from falling apart at times. I need to be able to take him into a shop, or a restaurant.

I know I'm not cured. I know the panic can still blindside me without notice.

But I feel a lot less on edge. Which can only be good for my wife and my daughter.

One of my brothers is getting married.

I found out from one of the other brothers. The one I actually talk to.

Turns out, I don't think I'm invited.

Which is cool. I don't want to go. I've had enough family time to last a lifetime.

It's still kind of...hurtful, I guess, that he didn't invite me.

But hey, that means I don't have to send a gift.

I'm back not even a week and I'm already hit with a new memory.

It was a nice stint of silence for my brain, but back to the dream grind.

I didn't even realize it was this close to the end of the school year until my English teacher today reminded us that we needed to have the first draft of our final paper in to her by the end of next week. I haven't even finished the book I picked so I guess that's what I'll be doing this weekend with my time off since the shoot got cancelled.
