As someone who was diagnosed with adhd as a child and is currently in medschool, you would think I would remember that simulants have the opposite effect on me than they do most people. And yet here I am, waking up after falling asleep from drinking the coffee I made to help me study for exams.

Pretty sure my kid has ADHD, but my ex doesn't want to get him tested because she doesn't want to put him on drugs.

Not everyone that has it takes medication. Although it honestly helps mine. But even if you choose not to get him medicated, knowing he has it will help you and him learn with how to work with his ADHD instead of against it.
