I didn't even realize it was this close to the end of the school year until my English teacher today reminded us that we needed to have the first draft of our final paper in to her by the end of next week. I haven't even finished the book I picked so I guess that's what I'll be doing this weekend with my time off since the shoot got cancelled.

	Augh. I always got points knocked off because my 'final paper doesn't match the rough draft'. I eventually learned to write my final paper then go back and make correction on the draft so that it matched the final paper. (Reply to this) (Thread)

	I didn't even realize that was something teachers could do. You'd think they'd be expecting it not to match though. Since isn't the point of a rough draft to improve it? (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Yeah, I thought so too. But apparently you're supposed to make your corrections, and your final is supposed to match the corrections you made. But like, that's not how I work. I make the corrections, and I make additional corrections as I write the final. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)
