So, I've heard that a lot of people have weird dreams here. I gotta ask, do you actually feel the pain? Get the scars? What about if you're turned into...something else?

Still feeling a bit jet lagged...

Had another dream. I can handle the high school stuff and the lacrosse game stuff, but digging up half of a body of a dead girl is a bit much. I really hope I don't have nightmares about it.

OH man. I went to the store today and I am seriously starting to freak out. Like, who knew there were this many kinds of TURKEYS? Or stuffing? What's with all these nuts, and why are there so many cans of things out in the aisles?

I mean, I'm not even cooking it and the guy who is probably already knows what to put on the list, which like... I haven't actually asked for yet because I thought I'd do the shopping later in the month but now I am not sure at all.

Doing adult holiday stuff is like... really overwhelming, guys.

Well, I suppose I now understand these surreal Dreams people keep talking about. I don't know what I was expecting, but I was definitely not expecting to dream of actually being the Norse goddess Freya.

I don't know who's behind all the electrical fuckups going on but you better fix it soon. My damn studio just attacked me. Literally.

So Dream!Michael is back to trying to protect everyone. Or I guess still since he never quits trying to. Whichever - he’s finally figured out a way to keep Claire safe when she’s on campus since he can’t leave the house: Shane. He doesn’t work right now so it’ll be easy for him to go with her and sit in on her classes. Makes perfect sense right? Until somebody managers to spill battery acid on her during one of the classes because he apparently didn’t realize they were up to something until after they started tipping it over her. Luckily she wasn’t hurt too badly because he did act quickly.

But then he decided to find a more permanent way to protect her - he made a deal with that fucking asshole Brandon to let him feed twice in order to keep his...pets from attacking Claire anymore. And the fact that he made Brandon promise not to drain him completely is supposed to make me okay with this. And as if all of this isn’t crazy enough - we find out the vampires are apparently looking for some book and Claire decides she’s going to fake it.

We’re all going to get killed by the time this is done. And yeah even though I’m a ghost already in them, I’m pretty sure that’s going to include me.

Anyone else ever get PTSD flashbacks from their dreams? Like you know it's over, you know the danger is gone.

And yet...

I can confirm if you fucking die in your dreams you don't die in real life.

The final task was to kill three people in cold blood. If I did that, the Fae would be free.

And I did it. But I never specified when they'd be free. Never make a deal with the Fae.

But I won, and that pissed her off. So she tried to kill me. I'm really lucky I didn't wake up with every bone in my body broken.

But I get the last laugh. Before all this started, she told me if I could solve a riddle, I'd win instantly.

I gave her the right answer with my dying breath.

It was stupid easy, but when you're illiterate it takes more time I guess.

In all this weird chaos, I do have some exciting news.

I booked a gig at small bar for Saturday. I'm just playing a few songs as an opener for another band but it's a start. Just me, my guitar and a piano.

Restrictions: 18+, as it's a bar, and those underage get a handstamp to show they're underage.

Alright so whoever had their money on Claire being the first one in my Dreams to figure out I was a ghost - please come by the house to pick up your prize. DreamMichael is an idiot but I think we can all agree that is more than well established by this point. The teenager that we took into the house to protect - caught me disappearing at sunup. Well actually she saw me die, because that’s something I enjoy reliving in every dream that I have thanks to whatever is behind this crap, and then disappear but not before I begged her not to tell our other roommates that I’m dead. Because it’s not enough that I’m lying to my best friends there, I have to drag this kid into lying for me. Nice. Real nice DreamMichael. No wonder that fucking vampire killed you and no one realized you were gone.

And because of course that can’t be enough, Brandon - the vampire that wants to kill Claire for insulting one of his people, follows her to the house. And when he can’t grab her he takes Shane hostage and threatens to kill him if we don’t send Claire out. But Brandon isn’t the brightest guy apparently, since he’s making this threat while standing on the porch of the house right in front of the doorm so I can reach out and grab Shane and yank him into the house. You’d think that would be enough tempting of fate for me but no - I have to threaten the psychotic stalker vampire.

That night after everybody else goes to bed I talk to Claire about what she saw me do and tell her how I died, because that’s a cheery bedtime story right. And then I warn her to stay away from Brandon because clearly she can’t tell on her own to avoid crazy assholes right? I mean trying to stay away from people who want to hurt her is why she moved into the house with us. And in sticking with the theme of this oh so cheery bedtime conversation: I made her promise to kill me by whatever means necessary if I start craving blood because that means I’m turning. And in Morganville of my Dreams? That’s not good. At least not with the people I love there.

I didn't need to ... watch my father die again.

But these dreams seemed to be distinctly less ... supernatural.

I connected to the blanket wi-fi in my neighborhood and it brought me to this site. Is this a town hall or more of a town watch? Where do I sign up for the church choir?

What is with this new trend of making everything unicorn flavored? What does a unicorn taste like? And who has been chomping on said unicorns?

Holy shit, apparently it's been a long fucking while since the last time I posted on this thing.

But after spending an afternoon in jail, I'm pretty sure I needta start coming up with better ways to spend my time when this place isn't deciding to throw a fit.

Somebody suggested I reach out and see if any of you would be willing and able to try and help me figure out a way to get some freedom from my house. I’m going a little nuts just being stuck there all the time and my boyfriend is probably about as sick of it as I am even with friends coming over to hang out regularly. Even just being able to step out the door would be great.

Well we’ve found a fourth roommate. Or potential one. Some girl from the local college who’s had the shit beat out of her by somebody. At first I don’t want to let her stay with us because she’s clearly not 18, and since Shane and I are we have to be really careful what gets said about us. But then she starts telling me that she got attacked at school by a bunch of girls and they threatened to have worse done to her after dark - and when I ask her more questions turns out that I know most of them and that they’re Protected.

I’m not willing to let her move in permanently but she can stay a couple days until she finds a place. A month at the most, but she has to buy groceries at least once during the month because it’s only fair and she sure as hell better not get us in trouble. I don’t think dreamMichael needs to be so worried about people getting him in trouble. He’s going to get himself in enough trouble trying to look after everyone.

So, my dad's graduation gift to me was a month of traveling throughout the country where music had a big influence. Played a few small gigs...even attended some karaoke nights. Now, I'm back home and I'm glad to be in my own space, again. Still, the traveling life was kind of fun.

My friend Eric is evil!! I guess today was National Cheese Lovers Day or something and he knows how much I miss food and how much I loved cheese, so he goes and posts a bunch of stuff about cheese on twitter today just to torture me. If he does this on the next National Whatever Food Day, I might have to consider finding a new friend.

Well the brilliance of my dreamself just continues - it's not enough to keep the fact that I'm dead from my two oldest friends, we're opening the house up to find a fourth roommate. Because there's no possible way that could be a bad idea. I mean - I can fool a complete stranger right? This is going to go so bad so fast I know.

Even with all the insane and supernatural stuff that happens in my dreams. The thing I can’t get over is my mom and my boyfriend (well I guess exboyfriend now) teaming up to spy on me.

You know what I miss? The good old days where if you wanted to get something off your fucking phone and onto your goddamn computer, you just used a USB cable and dragged and dropped. Why the fuck do they always have to make shit so goddamn complicated? I fucking downloaded like, three programs to figure this shit out and I still couldn't get the file off my fucking phone.

In other news, it looks like I'm going to need a new computer. And maybe a drywaller.

Had another dream last night. And man, D's taste never fails to fucking baffle. Around Christmas, I dreamed that D was juggling a mafia boss boyfriend with a dominatrix dentist girlfriend. ( Cut for mentions of cannibalism; no IC cut )

So I’m going to have a party Saturday. Anybody on here who wants to come hang out at my beach house - message me and I’ll give you the address. I’m going to have food and drink and who the hell knows what else delivered. All you have to do is show up and hang out for a few hours - listen to me play some of the music I’ve been working on during my dream induced lockdown if you’re into that. And the only orcs here are the ones in the game on my PS4 - Orcs Must Die.

Oh this is going to go great in my dreams. I’ve decided to ask my two best friends to move into the house with me, but I’m not telling them about being killed and turned into a ghost. Anyone want to bet on how long I’ll be able to keep them from finding out since I’ll be around them 24/7? One way or another.

So I'm never buying Peeps again.

Had a packet of them on the coffee table and Chewie's big enough now to start trouble and pull stuff within reach. He got into the packet of Peeps...

The screaming. It was horrible. Chewie thought they were toys...

Two of them survived and are being kept safe in my room. Not sure what to do with them yet.

This one happened to me a while ago but I didn’t want to say anything about it until I’d gotten all of the fallout dealt with as much as I could. Worst fucking Valentines Day wakeup ever So I died in the dreams. No big shock there when you’re dreaming about a town full of and run by vampires right? It doesn’t end there though.

Somehow my house in the Dreams saved my soul? Not sure how that works but all I know is I came back that night as a ghost. Not a see through one - real physical body, which would be awesome if it weren’t for the fact that if I try to step out my front door, I feel myself getting pulled to someplace else. So I’m trapped in the house and have to relive my death at sunrise. The pain of it at least.

And it crossed over to here. The ghost part and not being able to leave my house. Which means until something happens - I can’t perform. The guys are loving the extra downtime and all but I’m not used to just staying all the time. I’d probably go nuts if it weren’t for Kat

Last night was... not okay, and this morning was worse. I thought I was brave when I left my father's shadow to come here, and I thought I could have courage when I decided to switch genres. But I don't know if I have the bravery to handle what the dreams are showing me, or the things I'm facing now here in reality.

The Elizabeth in the dreams is so naive and impressionable, but what is she becoming? Who will I be when this is all over?

And then I had to fire the only person in my life I really trusted. Go ahead and write an article about that, Rita. We're waiting.

It's bad enough when your parents don't want you to do something new and different, but to have a bully literally push you to the ground and tell you it'd never happen?

I guess in my dreams I'm still the untouchable girl. Not just in my sport of choice, but personally too.

When you're famous, everyone assumes you're popular and have people around you all the time, and they all assume they're not good enough.

And you end up going to dances alone because no one bothered to ask you.

All I wanted to do was go grab my allergy medicine. It was just a refill, I would be in and out. Why not wait around at the drug store for it? I could even get some of those gummy vitamins for the girls. After all the pharmacy wasn’t that busy.

And then this guy came in. With a old portable radio, blasting this one gospel song over and over. Yelling to people about god. Because that’s exactly what people waiting in line at the pharmacy want to listen to. Each time the song ended, he put it back on the previous track. Any time anyone complained or tried to talk over him and it, he put it on louder.

Look, whatever your beliefs are, they’re your beliefs. Everyone has the right to or right from whatever they want to believe. But trust me, you aren’t winning people to your side if you do stuff like this. You aren’t going to convert anyone. Well, you might find people converting away from your church. But definitely not to it.

And now I am mentally exhausted because I haven’t been yelled to about religion this much since I left my parents’ house.

So, my boyfriend is in school to be an archeologist. Which is pretty cool and the reason I’ve nicknamed him Indy. (I am still planning on getting you an Indiana Jones costume for graduation, you know.)

This has me a little bit worried though. And reminded me of an entire list about why it’s a bad idea to lick your sciences.

How do you find hope when the person everyone has pinned their hopes on has lost his own hope?

And the darkness is so very tempting.

I had the strangest dream. My mother and father were there, and my sister, Lila. We lived in this little village called Poteidaia. It was beautiful, peaceful, but I wasn't happy there.

I spent several hours watching Curling both today and yesterday. It's actually quite engrossing and once you understand the rules, exciting to watch.

Well those are words I thought I'd never say about such an odd sport.

Well at least this time no one died in my dreams. Just left town because the doctor’s there couldn’t treat my mom’s cancer. Sam had to help get them permission to leave town, but for some reason even though I was only 17 they couldn’t get permission for me to go with them so - every teenagers dream come true right? Getting to live on your own?

Anybody else ever wake up in the morning and the only thing running through your head is “Shit I need a drink after that dream?” I dreamt about someone I don’t even know in this life dying in a fire while I had to hold their brother back on the sidewalk to keep them from running inside. Because apparently he was my best friend? Even just writing it here is making my head hurt trying to figure it out.

I'm tired.

Holiday is a busy time and I'm looking forward to some sleep in January! Plus we all know...more sleep = more dreams.

Last minute I know everybody but it just came together - we’re doing a show tonight at [bar name].
