I guess in my dreams I'm still the untouchable girl. Not just in my sport of choice, but personally too.

When you're famous, everyone assumes you're popular and have people around you all the time, and they all assume they're not good enough.

And you end up going to dances alone because no one bothered to ask you.

It depends on why you're famous. I was famous in my dreams. I doubt anyone thought I was popular or that they had to be good to be around me.

I guess the end result's the same - being alone.

At least you got to go to a dance. That's something.

Yeah. Dream me believes the guy telling her that he won't kill her and he'll take her to Europe some day and she'll have a new life. But I doubt it. The dreams don't work like that.

I know it doesn't really help with the whole going alone thing I still don't get why it matters and the whole focus on going with someone but you end up having a fun time at the dance. If you haven't finished the dance yet. But maybe you have and I'm just saying things you already know.

Yeah. The loneliness at times is the real drawback to being famous I think. Even in a crowd of people at times.
