I had another Dream last night - first one in a while - and I was back at that Academy that I had enrolled in under a false name. This time I was on the roof of the school with a radio that I had built out of spare parts trying to listen in on military transmissions that might reveal where my brother and dad are. My teammates found me up there and then the three of us heard chatter about a crashed vessel and went to check it out and found the pilot that had been assigned to Matt and dad’s expedition in the wreckage. And a bunch of military personnel trying to take him into custody. Then this guy who had left the Academy a few months before showed up and helped us rescue him and then we all booked it out into the desert so I guess my Academy days are done too. Shiro, the guy from the wreckage, doesn’t remember anything from the past year but he does let us know that the Galra, alien race of bad guys in my dreamworld, are looking for a weapon called Voltron. While we’re out in the desert we find this spaceship shaped like a blue lion that accepts Lance, one of my teammates, as it’s captain. Turns out it’s one of five lions that when combined make the weapon the Galra are looking for. That’s when I woke up to the radio I built in the Dreams on my dresser and I couldn’t help but check it out to see if it worked. And it does. I was able to pick up military transmissions stations from a lot further away than what I’ve been listening to lately. It doesn’t have the clearest sound but nothing I can’t improve with a couple upgraded parts.

I've been craving s'mores recently cause I keep seeing various commercials with s'mores in them. Would it be crazy if I went out and bought a fire pit for my backyard just so I can have s'mores? I know I could make them on the stove, but that's no fun.

So, what’s with the interest in dreams?

Like anyone would have to twist my arm to use this thing. Kind of the highlight of my day when I'm not pestering the big grumpy bear. Something that he'll just have to get the hell over and he knows it. He loves me anyway.

Also, getting a bit bored. Might decide to head out on a midnight hike.

There must be something in the water because I've jumped on the dream train. I hope it's just an over active imagination because I'm dreaming up some strange, yet strangely realistic stuff.

So what is this new astrological sign nonsense? One of my friends from high school just posted about it on Facebook and this is the first I'm hearing about it. Personally, I have no intention of being anything other than a Leo even if it is a fire sign and I'm the son of Poseidon.

More dreams last night. Thank God. I thought maybe I was dead after that last bunch.

Nope. Just unconscious. I think I missed something huge because I wake up in the dreams and end up wandering the halls naked on some ship in a weird suit thingie with leaking hoses. I keep yelling Rey's name every time I wake up what is up with that

Turns out a big fight went down with the First Order and then we jumped to lightspeed. I guess we lost our secret base? And Rey, you're not there. Where are you?

So hi. I'm new here. New on the network, not the OC. I've lived here my whole life. Lucky me, right?

Summer's just starting and I'm already bored. Anyone got any recommendations? Nothing physical. I don't do sports or anything like that. Books, music, movies, shows to binge, foods to cook. Stuff like that.

On behalf of Mercy's Clinic, I just want to thank everyone for not doing anything too crazy over the holiday weekend. I know we still have the actual holiday tomorrow, but it's nice not having an influx of barbecue inflicted wounds or anything like that. One year, when I was still working at a hospital, we had so many people coming in one Fourth of July, it was crazy. I've never quite understood why there are so many more injuries around holidays. I know it obviously has to do with people drinking more during the holidays, but still.

Things went rather poorly in my Dreams in Turkey, though knowing what I know of History, I cannot say that I am Overmuch Surprised. I doubt very much that our Decisions in Turkey will have much improved Relations between the Turks and the British, but I'm certain that we couldn't have made them much worse than they were already.


I will say that there are many Things that I take for granted in this time that I may not have otherwise thought about if it weren't for the Dreams, chief among them being that most Nations no longer send children to War. I hope very much that that is something I never grow used to, either in the Dreams or in my Waking Life.

I've always had dreams about flying, which comes as no surprise considering it's what I do, but dreaming about flying an X-Wing is something completely different. While it's similar to a jet, it's also nothing like it at all. I'm going to have to take Black One out sometime soon. I want to fly in space, but at the same time it's so daunting. I'm gonna do it soon though.

My dream last night was a lot better than the last one I had cause I wasn't tortured and I didn't crash and get a concussion. I got back to the Resistance just in time to leave to take down some First Order troops on a planet called Takodana and then once we got back to base I was finally reunited with BB-8 and Finn, which was awesome.

As good as things appear to be going, I'm not holding my breath that it's gonna stay that way for long.

So. Waking up with artifacts from the dreams is a thing?

Because I've got a god damn bracelet on my wrist and it's reading my vitals and sending them back to the mother ship or something.

What the hell?

Since senior year is almost at an end, I've been encouraged to try and find ways to network.

I thought my dreams were in limbo, stuck on a cliffhanger, but they started replaying again.

Like I wanted or needed to relive some of them.

Or any of them.

I'm going to invest in a plywood company I think. With the amount I have to keep buying for my business' windows when they get broken by something it's just a smart move. That and looking into shatterproof windows for the donut shop.

I think getting my blaster this morning was a sign. BB-8 and I are going out there. Gotta try to take down some of these Stormtroopers. They're starting to hassle the neighbors and I just can't let that happen. Anyone wanna come join me, I'm gonna make my way towards Navy base in Seal Beach.

Just watched some of the bear critters take down a big walker usin' a couple of telephone poles.

Gotta say, I really like these guys.


Cept I'm also pretty sure they're about to BBQ one of the troopers an' that ain't right.

I saw a youtube video on how to make your own fake amiibo cards for Animal Crossing (as well as anything else that uses amiibo cards) and I'm not sure how I feel about it. On one hand, I would love to be able to bring my villagers I was so attached to in New Leaf here (calling Shep). And on the other hand that just... really feels way too much like cheating to me and I'm not sure I could bring myself to do it.

I've been typing most of the night since the girls went to bed, and I decided I really needed a snack break. I go to make a sandwich and something to drink. And I came back to my cat curled up asleep on my laptop keys. And of course he added his own words to the story, but given he's a horrible speller, he'll have to forgive me for not including them.

This is exactly why I'm paranoid and back up my work every time I step away from the computer.

My first day here and I bugged my sister to do all the things. We ate at this cafe, Izzy’s. It didn’t take much persuasion to hit the beach or get ice cream and all kinds of junk food. I’ve gotta figure out what sights we should see tomorrow. Any suggestions?

I pull the cord for my stop as the bus pulls away from the previous stop. Don’t tell me that I needed to pull it sooner because you over accelerated between the two stops and would have to slam on your brakes to stop on time. That is not my fault. That is your fault. And maybe other passengers would let you get away with embarrassing them and blaming them at the top of your voice on a packed bus but I won’t. That complaint to your boss and note added remotely to your personnel file was me. And the points on your DMV record in a few minutes once my program finishes getting me through their firewall is me too.

Accidents happen. People make mistakes. But don’t blame other people.

Alright, this thing has gone on six days too long. I can safely say that not once in my life have I ever wondered what it would be like to be a woman and I'd really like my own body back now. I would like to be able to go back to work and I'm pretty sure BB-8 has been recording me so that he can show Rey and Finn how amusing he found this the next time either of them comes over.

On a completely different topic, I woke up this morning to find part of my X-Wing in my backyard. I'm not exactly sure what I'm going to do with this, but if I got part of it, something tells me I'm gonna get more or it and I'm going to need a place to keep it. I'm also going to need to figure out how to put it together. I can do maintenance on a jet, but I don't know if I can actually put an X-Wing together.

Made it back home. If I can even call here home anymore. New York sort of became my home these past few years. But right point is I made it back to Orange County. What a time to return.

Since I can't really go anywhere social media is probably the best way for me to reconnect and meet people here.

What’s that saying about luck? If it wasn’t for bad luck, I wouldn’t have any luck at all? Seems pretty accurate for how my day’s been going even though I don’t actually believe in luck. Murphy’s Law would sum it up pretty perfectly if it was an actual law of nature - everything that could go wrong today has. Starting with dropping my phone on the ground while I was trying to lock my door so now there’s a crack running across the top and a chip that keeps spreading. The screen was supposed to be durable. Then I got to the shop and found out that one of our ovens is broken and no one knew where the number for the repair company was written down or the warranty information for it.

It took 2 and a half hours to find that paper, and then when I finally got someone to actually pick up the phone they told me that it was going to be a week until one of their technicians could actually come out and inspect it to try and discover what the problem is and then we’ll have to wait for the parts to come in after they’re ordered which could take another two weeks. And then they’ll have to schedule a technician to install it. So...I’m supposed to be without a second oven at my donut shop for almost a month? There’s no way I can do that. My business would suffer.

I’ll just look into buying a replacement one for cheap so that we at least have one working while I look around and find a good price on a better one. And after that I’ll start looking at different repair companies.

Wow, all of Italy is under lockdown. I am very glad I am not over there right now, but it is weird getting updates from my friends there about what is going on. I really hope this virus gets under control soon because this fear is going crazy.

So quick BB-8 update; I still can't understand him. He keeps beeping and chirping at me. Although he has a little lighter tool in one of his tool bay disks and he's been using as a sort of thumbs up if I've guessed something he's trying to say to me. So I guess we're off to a fairly good start.

I just got woken up by an incessant beeping sound and at first I thought it was my phone or something until I got out of bed and this droid from my dreams rammed itself into my fucking calves. In the dark! Seriously? He seems really happy to see me, but I have no idea what he's trying to say.

All I know is that he's called BB-8 and is my astromech from my most recent dreams and somehow I can understand him in my dreams, but I can't here.

Now what do I do with a droid?

One of the reasons I bonded so much with Nico and Will's dogs so much when I met them, I think, is because I always wanted a pet of some kind. Mom... wasn't a fan. Cats, dogs, and rabbits all shed and birds were too noisy. And... then she started going all over the US to film her show, and we wouldn't be able to take a pet with us. So when I met Cesare and then Ziggy, I fell absolutely in love with them. How could I not? They were so sweet.

I still always wanted my own baby one day. And today... Nico came home with this adorable sphynx kitten. He claims he just found her. He always knew I wanted a house goblin one day, so that was very convenient. Still, I'm not looking a gift horse in the mouth. ...Gift goblin, whichever.

Anyway, I want all of you to meet Nefertiti.

My favorite part of being the owner is the look on customer’s faces when they demand to speak to the boss and find out it’s me. Even better their reaction when they realize I am backing my employee and not caving to their demands.

In a week I will be sitting in a room, taking my exam.

Anyone else hear that Planters killed Mr. Peanut? I haven't seen the commercial yet, but I just saw the twitter post on it. The best part of it was other corporate twitters responses to it. I wonder what made them decide to kill off an iconic mascot like that.

Today is my first shift at the police station. My new partner is a bit of a grump, but I've dealt with worse. This is slower than back home, but could be cause I was in the speacil unit there.

Anyways, can anyone recommend a great place to get lunch at? Something quick and easy that's not fast food?

I've been playing interference between Dad and Will all day while we wait for my brother to get home. It's nice, actually getting to spend time with him without him trying to spend money to make up for all the time he lost with me. That was never his fault, after all, it was Mom's. Just getting to hang out with him like this? This is making up for all that time.

I'm not saying I'm not glad to see Nico and Hazel's dad. I just kind of wish we knew he was coming over before coming home to him playing with the dogs. And it wasn't because apparently he wasn't aware of a charge Nico put on his card.

His phone is off, so if anyone has seen a short goth Italian? Please tell him we're looking for him.

I was told that this place was good for networking and socializing. I intended to see about potential job connections, but there seems to be quite some talk about dreams here. Though this is the internet, I suppose oversharing and such things are to be expected.

Am I completely mental or are things from our dreams actually showing up?

Well that was incredibly weird. I just woke up from the strangest nap I've ever had. It wasn't the nap itself that was strange, but the dreams I had while I was sleeping. Now I've had weird dreams before, but these felt different. I was a kid and I think I lived on another planet. I mean, Yavin 4; that's not a real place. Where did my mind even get that? What's even stranger is that then I learned to fly a spaceship! A freakin' spaceship! Well, I never actually flew it; my mother did and she taught me.

And now what's even stranger than all of that was the weird urge I had to have to come here and talk about it. What is going on?

I live for this kind of thing!

Dream update: Quinjet? Spaceworthy. Did not expect to find Skrull refugees, but that's okay. Found the power source the Kree wanted. Something called the Tesseract.

Also realized the Kree have been holding my powers back so I burned out the chip they had in my neck. Woke up before the fight really got started though.

And that cat? Alien. Something called a Flerken.

I made lunch with the news on than tuned it off to have a nice meal with my daughter.

Meltdown ensues - tears, screaming, pushing the plate away because "I ruined her whole life" by turning off the news.


I feel like my kid is broken.

There is nothing more tedious than a board meeting where the board just shout needlessly at one another.

At what point do old white men stop craving the sound of their own voice? I'm considering replacing them all with graduate students, millennials. That would give them the shock of their life.

I guess Mom's been deep cleaning where we keep the holiday things, because I just got a package full of some of my old Halloween costumes, minus I guess the more special ones, and the things I made in school. Which means I'm finally old enough, I guess, that their junk has become my junk. Am I supposed to hold on to this? Dispose of it to save Mom and Dad the guilt of doing it themselves? Call my sister and ask if she, also, received her own box of junk, and discuss what to do with it? Do I expect more of this in the future? No one told me about this part of adulthood. I live in an apartment, we don't have room for more of this.

I really should know better than to read the comments on practically any article on Yahoo. I've never seen more horrible comments than on Yahoo. It doesn't matter what the article is about; these people are honestly the worst. They're rude and criticize everything. The worst are any article that is even remotely LGBTQ+ related or Kardashian related.

One of my sailors left his shampoo out during his room inspection. I told him that I would be expecting a 500 word autobiography from his bottle of shampoo on my desk by Monday morning.

From the look he gave me, I'm near certain that he would have preferred a more traditional sort of punishment.

I put in my resume in a few places, going to spend the weekend working in the garden.

House is kinda lonely, this is why I was always busy when Steve was deployed.
