Wanna go to see a movie tomorrow?

Are stores in more of a hurry to start pushing Christmas at us than normal, or is that just me? I went to see if they had anything good still left on Clearance from Halloween (no, I'm not hoarding costume pieces despite being able to disguise myself as anything I want. What are you talking about?), and the whole section was already Santa and reindeer. I asked someone that worked there if they had just moved what was left, and apparently they donated it all yesterday? It's only been a week...

Winie is settling in really well here. After a few nights of sleeping in different rooms throughout the house I think she's decided on the room across from mine as hers. I'll just have to move some of the furniture out of there to storage for her.

Halloween is a little over a week away and I still have no idea what to dress up as. Not good considering I'm hosting the costume contest at Purgatory.

I really can't think of a better way to celebrate my birthday this year than starting rehearsing the part of Elle Woods! I am still in disbelief I got the lead role, and rehearsals today were absolutely amazing. I'm exhausted in the absolute best of ways!

I wish I could say I feel more like myself, but my dreams have... kind of moved into a world dynamic and I don't really know how I feel about it. My home was destroyed, the city I built for myself and my people...

And in the process I've apparently gone from blonde to quite literally platinum. Except for a blonde witch's lock.

Is it strange that I dream about a zombie apocalypse and I really want to see the new Zombieland movie? One would think that I'd have enough of zombies, but oddly enough I still like zombie related things. I think in this case it's because the zombies are quite as deadly/scary as the ones in my dreams.

Yeah, so nothing good can come of someone who calls themself Joker's Daughter. Especially if they then team up with someone called Killer Frost to destroy an entire village. Ugh.

So yeah, I apparently forgot how intense the emotional bleed-over could be sometimes.

Plus sides to being single, I've gotten so much work done. I've completely redesigned my glider suits and hummingbirds, drew up the plans for a brand new airship design to add to the growing fleet I've been producing, and a design for a flight suit capable of leaving and re-entering atmosphere.

And that was all personal work, that doesn't even include the Stark/FI space program collab work!

I dreamt I watched stars born in a cradle nebula. I named each one as they went off into space. The reason I mention this is how it affected me. I've never seen anything so beautiful in real life. I woke with tears in my eyes, and I am not so much on my pride as to deny it. If you had seen what I dreamt you would have too.

When your girlfriend skips town like they always do you make some questionable decisions while tipsy.

This weekend I'm having a soft open of my bakery Izzy's.

We just found out what musical we're going to be doing at Uni this year, and it's based on one of my favorite movies! I am definitely going to be trying out for the main character, so everyone please wish me luck? Mom will finally get to see me as a law student, even if it's on stage. Elle Woods! I mean, if I get the part. I shouldn't get ahead of myself before auditions even start. But still, Legally Blonde the Musical! I'm super excited.

We wrapped up filming on Byron's Trinity days today, and my bear costar's handler came up to me at the end of the day and asked if I was still interested in taking her home with me, since we'd bonded so much during filming. She actually has reached the point where she'll eat right out of my hand, which is absolutely adorable to me and apparently terrifying to everyone who sees it. He didn't think she'd be as good on any future films because of it. We worked it out for me to have all the proper paperwork, and since my house is pretty far from any neighbors it worked out for me to bring her home today.

Have you ever had dreams end, but then end up with reruns, like a greatest hits show gone wrong? Had a shit night, then got to revisit my basement cell, my lover forgetting me, and my brother blaming me for leaving him when his 'best friend' asked me to do it. For the record, I was there. Thanks for all that. Maybe next time we can play Damon's favorites. I had hero hair once.

Okay, I get "reality" television is constantly stooping to new lows and/or running out of ideas. But did they have to go make a show called "Marrying Millions" in which one person is a millionaire and the other isn't? Just...why?

Well, that was a Dream with an ominous cliff hanger. Though a little earlier in the Dream, I went to the Library of Congress to speak with Andros, an alien who is apparently supposed to play judge, jury and, if needed, executioner of the Earth if we are deemed to be too hostile. Of course, he was attacked by Nazi spies, so I defended him...by pushing over several bookcases in a domino effect. It's a bit amusing looking back on that moment.

I could have gone without getting hit by that gas grenade, though. I am becoming rather tired of how susceptible this version of me is to...everything. And how easy it is to steal her powers.

Also these Dreams are extremely ridiculous in all facets. Nazi spies in the Library of Congress? I get my powers from my belt that is easily taken off of me by the enemies? I am almost always knocked out or taken prisoner in these Dreams as well. I will be very happy whenever I get to the end of these Dreams.

It's July 4th and while some of us are probably pretty cranky about the 'murrica feels, I myself welcome any reason to party.

So I bought out the local water park for the day. We've got bouncy castles, all the grilled food you can handle, a DJ who isn't trying to play Americana songs every three seconds, and probably more fireworks than are strictly legal going off as soon as the sun cooperates with us and gets its ass gone for the day.

Bring your sunscreen and swimwear and come on over. Even if you had other plans. We're gonna be here for a while, por que no los dos?

It's weird, house hunting with Nico and Will. Because of Mom's show, I haven't really lived in our house back in New Orleans since middle school. We were always hopping around the country and staying in hotel rooms. I mean, they were nice hotel rooms, but still. Then I moved into the dorms at school, and from there their spare room at their apartment. I... honestly don't know how to look for a house. Or at a house. Not in any way that I can really contribute much to the conversation. Pretty sure "Carpet in the kitchen was an interesting choice" isn't exactly helpful. Although I stand by that opinion all the same. In the bathroom was even more an interesting choice

I just don't know how to give my opinions on what I'd like to see when I don't even know what I want to see.

So, this being pride month? I finally came out to my parents. Subtle has never been my middle name, so standing there in the kitchen like a neon light while I went to drop off some things we borrowed was the very most me way to do it. It took Mom a few minutes to get what my shirt said, and dad even longer. She pretty much had to spell it out for him while I stood there nervous.

We had a long talk about what it meant, was I sure, was that Skeeter article from way back when right (ew Mom, no. Alice has always been family and Logan practically is now as well), and just generalized worry for me. But in the end, they understood and accepted me. And I am so so relieved. I've been keeping this a secret from them for so long. And they love me just as I am.

Not sure how the short skirted super hero talk will go, but that's for another time. Like. Maybe when I'm 30?

And I know I'm lucky and that's not how every one's parents have reacted. Still react even now in 2019. But I am so happy I told them, and I only wish I didn't hide it for so long.

Well I’ve always said that the only way I’ll do a biopic is playing either Lord Byron or Oscar Wilde since I am an enormous fan of both of these men. Both for their work and the fact that they lived their lives exactly they wanted, which is something I aspire to myself as anyone who’s met me can tell you is true. We’re going to start shooting the movie in a couple of months here in California and I’ll be playing the one and only Lord Byron. I do wonder what they’re going to do when it comes to the bear though because that's one of my conditions on the project - the bit with the bear has to be there.

Oh my god. Have you ever had something happen at a restaurant that you just knew you'd never be able to show your face in there again, or you'd just risk melting into the floor?

Somehow when I was ordering my food with my hands nowhere near my drink, I hit something that moved the glass and sent iced coffee splattering all over the table, the floor, and the poor poor waitress. By the time I even realized it was happening, it was too late to try to catch it to stop it.

She was so, so nice about it and was trying to keep me from being embarrassed. While she was covered in iced coffee. And to make the matter worst of all? I was her last table of her shift. That's the note I ended her day on. I made sure to tip her before she left and the new server took over. I still feel so awful, though.

First table read for Hadestown has been completed with the full cast. And I knew Andrew had something up his sleeve but this...Broadway stars as our Greek Gods.

So I'm laying in some cozy corner of this after party mess trying to recover from waking up from being tranq'd when this plucky red-head comes in with coffee, chocolate, and a cleaning crew.

You guys, I think I might keep her.

There's this older man who used to come in my bar pretty regularly, usually twice a week. He always sat at the same table and always ordered the same type of beer. He said his name was "Jim", but never gave me a last name. He was a pleasant guy all around, enjoyed talking about football and fishing. He once told me about this dream he had to go deep sea fishing. Like that was the one thing left in life that he wanted to do.

I haven't seen him in a while. I'm a little worried.

I played Super Mario Bro 3 last night and I now can't get their little game music out of my head. Nothing seems to work to make it go away.

Tactical and AR training... Yeah, those seem like fun things to do. Could be worse I suppose. Could wake up with one of those weird fucking bird things again.

It's weird, I spent the weekend drinking and partying and by yesterday morning I was only half as hungover as I should have been. I actually ended up taking care of Danny and Chase yesterday. I'm afraid I might be turning.

My biggest issue with Mother's Day, and Father's Day while I'm thinking about it, is that people want to use it to pretend that even the most hellish parents are some type of saint and they get offended when you don't want to play along with their delusion about your parents. You had amazing parents? Great. Lucky you. I'm happy for you honestly. And maybe a little jealous My parents? My mother threw me out of the house the day I turned 18 because my father told her she either threw me out or he'd throw both of us out and fire her from his company after freezing all of her assets. So don't expect me to get all warm and loving about them just because society has decided to give them some damn holidays.

Here we go here we go I've had enough caffeine that I can *feel the pulse of the universe* but I'm finally ready. It's happening. Here it is.
