Have you ever had dreams end, but then end up with reruns, like a greatest hits show gone wrong? Had a shit night, then got to revisit my basement cell, my lover forgetting me, and my brother blaming me for leaving him when his 'best friend' asked me to do it. For the record, I was there. Thanks for all that. Maybe next time we can play Damon's favorites. I had hero hair once.

I'm tired, and I really don't get tired. Anyone want to keep me away from a bottle today?

It's my brother with the hero hair. I tried it on once when I plunged a car through a window into a room full of gas to kill a bunch of assholes that were taking over the town, and bring my brother and a few friends back from the other side.

I was feeling pretty epic that day. Turns out the joke was on me. I pulled everyone back from the brink and it got all fucked up over there and the veil closed before I went through. One more thing in the long line of Damon getting fucked over.

It's a good story though. I'm coming for a nightcap and you can hear it.

Well, she always hated me. My brother and I are vampires. She was his best friend. He went through phases of not being able to control his bloodlust, so after a binge, he wanted to do some time in WWII to kind of atone for it in medical and supply runs. He asked me to sign up and do it together and try to fix us. I agreed to it. That morning I was there earlier than he was, she showed up, told me I would hurt him. I was too much of a piece of trash that would get him in trouble again, and he needed to do it alone. I never went down to see him, and he left without knowing I was there. It wasn't for the best, and later he blamed me. I never told him. I should have, but I took the blame for being an asshole. My dream revenge wasn't so nice.

Try not to judge me too harshly. It's a dream, I'm a vampire.

So, we have a kill switch in our heads that just shuts down emotions. Mine was off in the 70's and most of the 60's. My brother managed to figure out that I was in New York and sent this girl after me to convince me to come back into reality. I let her try, made her want me, and left her locked in the sun on a rooftop. She did survive, but years later I got into some trouble, made the local law enforcement hunt the vampire in town, and gave them her, complete with a stake in her chest. Dream me is kind of a dick.
