I'm pretty sure I lost a day studying. I didn't even realize I was starving until a bit ago and tried experimental pancakes. I couldn't find mixers so I used the blender and there's pancake on the ceiling. My brain is officially fried. Send help, or pancakes.

I can't even lie, this has been one of the best months in awhile. Catering went without a hitch, food was delightful as usual, company was epic, I'm so glad I was part of the big day for one of my best friends.

I'm even taking a couple days off from the cafe to just relax. I'm just a happy person right now and not even this place is going to take that away from me. Give me your best shot, OC, I will punch you in the face so hard you forget you're in California.

See? I've got this month.

I'm feeling much better as of late. Still a little disappointed that I can no longer particpate in my career of choice, but it could be much worse and I shall take that. I can't believe Halloween is almost here. Goodness time flies!

Today, in my first period shop class, a boy asked me out.

He, then, proceeded to look over my work for class and said that I was pretty good..."for a girl." I rolled my eyes and without a word continued o my work.

Why are boys so dumb? At least, my teacher has the common sense to say that I have done some of the best work he's ever seen. Not "best work for a girl," but best work. Period. I feel that this kind of work will warrant many comments like that and I wish it wasn't this way. However, I'm ready to prove everyone of what I am capable of.

Between the pumpkin pie, the pumpkin spiced drinks, Halloween candy, and Thanksgiving dinner, autumn has always been one of my favourite seasons.

And now I've discovered pumpkin spiced beer. It's a tasty brown ale that tastes just like pumpkin pie. Pumpkin pie in a glass if you will. I drank a case last night, and somehow ended up buying a couple more today. I know there's no such thing as too much beer, but I can't actually fit all of them in my fridge. ;_;

Life seems to have finally begun to calm down. I have been busy with school, though I enjoy doing the work. My dreams have been nice as well. I have an idea of where they will lead, though I'm trying not to let that spoil the journey there.

They also gave me a beautiful music box. It's really quite nice, and it plays the most lovely tune.

Freedom is sometimes in the last place you'd expect to find it.

After very literally months and months of hassling myself, I've finally decided to cave in and sign up for this network. So, let's see. It looks like introductions are customary, so I'll do my bit.

My name is Remus Lupin. I've lived here practically my whole life, so I know it can be a bit inexplicably odd at times (it seems like you talk about that a lot here, I thought I'd save myself from the warnings). I'm in my penultimate year of undergraduate studies at UC Irvine. History major and English minor. I'm sure I've seen some of you around? I think that's really all there is to say other than I like tea and pizza.

Sooooooo to celebrate my birthday, I'm planning on a Disneyland Weekend. I want all my friends to join me in Disneyland (well, California Adventure, really) for lunch at Ariel's Grotto. Then we can party all day until World of Color, and close the park!
