Between the pumpkin pie, the pumpkin spiced drinks, Halloween candy, and Thanksgiving dinner, autumn has always been one of my favourite seasons.

And now I've discovered pumpkin spiced beer. It's a tasty brown ale that tastes just like pumpkin pie. Pumpkin pie in a glass if you will. I drank a case last night, and somehow ended up buying a couple more today. I know there's no such thing as too much beer, but I can't actually fit all of them in my fridge. ;_;

I wonder how long before they run out of things to make pumpkin flavored

I hope that the answer to that is "never."

I've never actually been a fan much of pumpkin.

Not even the pie

Really? Not even pie? That's so sad.

Maybe you've just never had the right pumpkin pie.

That could be it. Though with the pie I more dislike the texture than the actual taste.

Which sounds very odd I know

Not that odd! Texture is very important when eating food. There aren't a lot of foods I dislike, but the texture of mushrooms always gets me.

If you'd like I could try baking you a pumpkin pie and see what I can do about the texture!

I'm not a fan of mushrooms either, so you're definitely not alone there

I'd certainly try it at least. Do you bake a lot?

Oh yes, I love baking! I try to bake things whenever I have the extra time! Usually with my older sister, but I do like just baking by myself sometimes too.

I'm not much of a baker or a cook myself. I can make basic things like eggs but that about it, unless there are instructions on the box

Well, cooking's really more of an artform than a science!. I bet what's holding you back is following those instructions.

I love pumpkin. I LOVE pumpkin. It's ridiculous how much I love pumpkin! Pumpkin EVERYTHING!

My house smells like pumpkin spices and cooking apples right now. (Not that I'm actually cooking, I'm just burning scented candles.)

It really is great! I wish that they had pumpkin spice year round instead of just seasonally!

I love cooking apples! There's nothing quite like roasting apples over a bonfire in the winter.

Well, I hear they sell it in cans in the store. And I found "pumpkin pie spice" in the spice rack at the supermarket, but I don't think it's the same in February. Or June!!

I've seen recipes on Facebook for how to make your own pumpkin spice mix too! Maybe I'll have to try doing it myself this year!

It's probably just cinnamon, clove and nutmeg! But hey, if you can find powdered pumpkin? All the better!

Now I want pumpkin cheesecake!

And ginger and allspice too! Do they make powdered pumpkin? I'll have to look into that!

Pumpkin cheesecake sounds delicious! Maybe I'll try making one!
