I seem to have adopted a dog. One of my more idiotic clients - who's been fired, never you worry - decided that it sheds too much, so she told me to have it "put down or something".

Wow, Texas to California is a LONG DRIVE. I thought I'd never actually get here and I would be happy if I never had to drive anywhere ever again.

Anyway, hello ValarNet, my name is Claire and I am completely new to this place. I'm, going to UCI in the fall, majoring in Phoenix and I'm starting my Internship with Stark Industries on Monday, so I guess that leaves me the weekend to see the sights before I have to get to work!

I'm looking for an apartment, too. I don't suppose anyone knows of anything good opening up? I'm crashing with a friend of a friend for now, but I'm pretty sure they'll want their couch back at some point!

Right. I am supposed to be putting together an invite list for a Memorial Day camping trip. Sounds fun right? Who wants to go? I can't invite the entire Net (though it would be a lot of fun) but we have room for quite a few I would imagine.

How does someone become a taxi driver if they do not know where they are going? I mean I had to take a quick trip to New York for an audition and I think getting from LAX to my apartment was longer than the cross country flight. Has anyone not heard of a GPS or something?

Where do they find these people? You would think it would be a job requirement or something.

Right. I think I am giving my job up as a paparazzi. Really I mean sure the money is really good but I am starting to get super muscular from all this running from security. I should just sell what pictures I do have and be done with it.

Blocked from anyone this would mess up the whole canon puncture thing for.

I'm thinking of going to see the new Iron Man this weekend, but Simon's busy and I HATE going along. Anyone want to join me? Jace? I'll even spring for popcorn!

Well, that was a hell of a night. And morning.

Let me tell you folks, there is nothing like having a very quiet evening, and expecting nothing, telling a client about stones and woods, and suddenly, out of the blue, some gangbangers are shooting at each other outside your shop.

Of course, they aren't exactly particular about where their bullets go, and so your shop is taking a beating. And then of course, they manage to hit something, in one of the stores, and there is fire. I gotta tell you... that was a bit annoying.

Cops came, stopped the bad guys, and made them whine like the little dumbasses they were. But... my shop was a complete loss, along with half the storefronts there.

Of course, having full insurance means I'll be reimbursed and able to reopen swiftly, but the loss of a couple projects, pieces that were utterly unique, and the time when the shop will be closed and...

...I think tonight needs more beer.

I'm in need of a lawyer on a family matter. It's very complicated and very personal.

Seriously, I'm so lucky to have such wonderful friends, and the world's best husband and ... I'm just so grateful for everything I've got.
