My kid has gone off to a sleep-over with a friend who lives down the street, and for the first time since I moved to California, I find myself alone (if we don't count the dog) and with no plans. And the trouble with having a kid is that most of the people you know also have kids and can't pop out for dinner or whatever on a moment's notice.

So, Orange County, where's the fun place to go or a cool thing to do? I'd rather not spend the night being asked for a date or a one-night stand, so a bar probably isn't the best suggestion.

I died in my dreams. Again. I mean this ain't exactly an uncommon occurrence. And I did get better, after being a bit of a devil for a little while. Gabrielle got better too. Dream me always believes life ain't worth living without her.

No, that ain't even the problem, the problem was I came back pregnant and I sure as hell wasn't with anyone with the associated body parts recently enough.

So I'm apparently friends with crazy people. Gambling with a crazy man that wants to hand us to fail our quest? Making an oath on the River Styx? WHY? Of course it's still binding. Why is that a question you'd ask? If it wasn't absolutely necessary, I would probably have to hit someone and ask if they had a brain. Unfortunately, Phineas is a seer, so he can see everything except for stupid gambles with high stakes. Thank the gods it worked out and someone didn't die. Percy, I swear to the gods, I will punch you in the face if you keep scaring me like this Gaea can apparently be gambled with also. Which is why this even worked.

We got the location where Alcyoneus is. The Hubbard Glacier. I guess it could be worse, but I'm also not at all certain how. I guess it's on to Alaska.

I couldn't resist being my godly parent for Halloween. I'm not entirely sure if that was weird or not yet. The jury is still out on the one.

My dreams are still continuing. I'm not sure why Clarisse was given that quest over us. Especially since Grover was the one to have found the fleece. Doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me. Not that a lot of this makes any sense.

And the misadventures of Dream Hercules and Iolaus continue, we find ourselves in Thrace with Autolycus the mostly harmless King of Thieves. He's stolen the royal treasure and was up against several of the Kings men when I decided it would be a brilliant time to help. Only I didn't realize he was a jewel thief a the time. Long story short I ended up in jail to be put to death for another man's crime. Thrace believes in tradition though, the King's daughter who was assigned to be my lawyer put me through three ancient trials to prove my innocence somehow (I'm still not sure how any of those things do that..) But whatever...I guess it'll give Hercules time to find Autolycus...hopefully.

So Aphrodite, nothing but tricksy apparently. Dream me got chosen to judge a beauty contest between her, Athena, and Artemis and the winner got honor or something. She gave me this golden apple that was supposed to make any other mortal fall in love with me at first sight with no other effort. Naturally the first one who fell for me was a princess of a kingdom already set to get married to another that was ready to wage war if it didn't happen. Her swooped into save the day of course and you know, this time I'm pretty glad he did. I'd rather not be a trophy on either kingdom's lawn.

So I met Artemis' huntresses. They tried to recruit Thalia into their group and she turned them down. Thankfully Now we're going to camp with a Satyr named Grover. I know where this is going and I don't want to keep going I'm hoping I don't dream anything past this. It's a futile hope, but I don't want to go any further

Life as a demigod is definitely weird.

Also I woke up to the journal I dreamt about a while back. So that's definitely not that surprising. Just surprising it's a journal and not another weapon.

I dreamt too much last night. More than I've dreamed so far and it's all really jumbled together. First of all, don't get into a cab if your drivers share only one eye. Camp was attacked by a Colchis Bull and Chiron got fired as head of camp. Tyson ended up being Cyclops and my half brother. That was a surprise. Didn't realize that cyclopses were also songs of Poseidon. We had a chariot rave and got attacked again by big greek birds with razor shark feathers. And this is all because of magic that shields the camp is breaking down cause of Thalia's tree dying since Luke someone poisoned it. Of course there ended up being a prophecy for a quest to find the cure. The Golden Fleece.

Clarisse, the daughter of Ares, was chosen to go on the quest, but me, Annabeth and Tyson left to go find Grover and to try and get the fleece before Clarisse after I ended up getting supplies from Hermes.

My head hurts now. Too much. I think I should lay down.

Y'know, as much as dream me seems to love traveling with Hercules it really is tough being the best friend of a demigod and being just so..average sometimes.

Dreams took a detour into weird. Again. Like one of them murder mysteries. Had to solve it which ain't easy when the Goddess of Retribution has you on a timer.

The illness that's been going around seems to have missed my house, which I'm grateful for. Lily starts first grade in the morning, and I'd hate for her to miss that experience due to illness. But I do hope everyone is back to full health soon, I know this has to be miserable.

In case anyone is ever wondering how to tame a three headed dog? Just throw a rubber ball. They'll love it.

Mostly I'm hoping that if you do encounter a three headed dog it's not because you're in the Underworld. I can't say my time there was all that enjoyable. Percy, I'm sorry about your mom.

Not that angering the God of the underworld could every really be considered enjoyable. Especially when, not only the master bolt is missing, but so is the helm of darkness. Even worse? When said master bolt shows up in someones' backpack.

It makes my head spin.

On a positive note, I'm super excited about my new living arrangements!

My dreams have been a mess lately. A lot of time in ancient India. Seeing future reincarnations of myself. We're headed back to Greece and I can already tell we're gonna have loads of fun with the Romans.

Yeah, so after I went to Siberia to try to get my friend back from the dead, I discover I fucked over the Amazon tribe there, back when I was all evil like. So I had to fix that, since guilt, you know. Got all those wrongs I gotta right.

Turned out she wasn't actually dead. Found her back home, got killed by her demonic grandchild, got better. Then we wound up in India where some more crap from my past got kicked up.

Take it from me kids, going evil early on just causes you all kinda problems when you try to go legit. I can't wait to see if the little shindig with Odin comes back to bite me on the ass too.

Dream me ain't proud of some of the things she's done. She'll probably be trying to make up for it the rest of her life.

For awhile I had this amazing gig as a personal assistant but my boss moved away. I don't know if anything can compare to being a PA for Dracula but I'm glad I can make portals pretty easily because he's one of my favorite people ever so I visit often. ANYWAY, point is, I need a new job? Does anyone know of anything out there?

I have a part-time gig at the amazing Victrola (check it out and come see me dance if you haven't already) but considering I live with a gazillionaire I'd like to try to pull my weight a little more. As far as skills go, I am limber, flexible in all ways, used to teach yoga and manage a strip club, and I also speak Arabic. Oh, and since I have the weird dreams that also means in my other life I was a Princess with shadow people magic.

There's something quite charming about a place where the first thing you see is an old, very hyperactive friend being stuck inside the body of your grumpy baby brother.

I was hoping for a wild ride, and this certainly seems like the place to find such a thing. I'm Kitiara, and I've just move to town, partly for business, partly to see what was behind Tasslehoff's completely insane stories (though, I'm getting the impression that these stories are based more in truth than any of his others), and partly to embarrass my baby brother, Raistlin. I do have childhood photos of him, and you can lay your eyes on them for a price.

If someone hurts someone else because they're told to, and are deathly afraid of the person making the demands and what they might do if refused, but tries to correct what they did as quickly as they can without the person who demanded it finding out, exactly... how horrible is the person who did the hurting in the first place?

Does it make a difference if they're all kids, but the one making demands is a teenager?

Between working for my father and helping out at the gym teaching young ladies that if they want to, they can have a career in punching people in the face, I've been so busy I forget to check this thing.

Can't tell if the God of War just likes me for me or for my killing capabilities. But I think Lao Ma's teachings finally sank in or maybe... But things change. Not sure how it makes me feel. Not sure who I'm sposed to be anymore. Almost put down the sword forever. Ended up helping someone.

Now I got a side kick. From badass warlord to wandering ronin with a side kick. Go figure.

This morning there was a bottle of Firewhisky on my nightstand. A great gift from the dreams if I do say so myself.

90% of the people in Canadian Dreamland are pretentious twats, and the only good thing about being considered the 'weak human sidekick' is that while everyone's head is up their own sphincters, my BS meter is going way off and I'm onto all of those shady jerkholes. There was also this sad part about having made heart eyes at this really dorky and having him die? I hope that doesn't set the tone for future relationships, but that was...depressing, or whatever. I finally got something nifty from all this stuff though. A sword. Which is 10x better than getting dream!poisoned by contaminated foot soup.

Strange weather we're having, huh? Feels like the harbinger of some kinda apocalypse. I like it. You could say it's a coincidence but I say it's a great way to be welcomed to the area. Like rolling out the red carpet.

Those strange monkeys almost make me wish I brought my hunting gear with me when I moved here. Almost. I doubt monkey meat tastes anything like venison.

I'm worried for my mother. She's getting on in years, and her health isn't as good as it used to be, and the recent weather has her frightened and confused.

I'm not sure I'm able to take care of her the way I'd like to, any longer. If someone could recommend a sort of retirement home where she could receive good care when she needs it, I would be much obliged.
