Those strange monkeys almost make me wish I brought my hunting gear with me when I moved here. Almost. I doubt monkey meat tastes anything like venison.

Thankfully, no. They just bared their teeth and chased me down. Luckily I'm pretty quick on my feet. I know how to defend myself against muggers, but I'm not sure I could have handled one of those things.

The only way I know to deal with a wild animal attack is to avoid them or from a distance and with a rifle. I wouldn't know what to do with a mugger. That's different, up close and personal.

I've been using them for target practice all day. Running low on arrows but I have plenty of rifle ammunition. But they've stopped coming onto my property.
