Okay so... I'm not a Werewolf so.. What the hell am I?!

Even though it's just May, I can feel summer coming on. About time for beach season, isn't it? I'm excited to lounge around on a towel under the sun and just soak it all in.

I feel this sentiment right down in my soul, you know what I mean friends?



Anyway I'm Orson, but mostly I go by my last name Baloo. Or Old Iron Paws if you're feeling a bit frisky.

Feeling so much better. Apparently the megaflu has worn off. I'm glad to be back on my feet. Apparently I lost four pounds, too.

Ugh, I don't feel so hot. I think I ate something that didn't agree with me. I hope I didn't pick up the bug that's going around the gym.

There seems to be a bug going around the gym. People have been missing personal training sessions and someone called off work today saying they felt like they were dying. They're pretty dramatic normally, so I wasn't exactly surprised, but I hope it's nothing serious.

Apparently, I got dumped in my dreams

Okay, starting to think I might be having those dreams. Either that or finals are already getting to me because they're continuing on and I got a gift from them. Either way, I'm still a spooky scary skeleton. But...something happened. ( Cut for spoilers, visible to all! )

Anyway, to make a long story short, I've got a pretty nice jacket if the OC ever decides to try out the winter thing, and I really want a hot dog.

I keep seeing my Mom die over and over in my dreams.

Maybe tonight they'll be better since mother's day is over.

...That was not what I expected. I mean, I always knew Jackson was a snake, but I didn't think it was literal.

I DO NOT like the dream I just had...

I have this feeling my dream life is never going to calm down. Because it turns out there's more things than just werewolves out there.

Yesterday and the day before were like the best workout of my lifetime, but ugh, I'm so sore. If I hadn't spent my last dime on fixing my car I'd go get a massage.

So, how do you think a bow and arrows would fare against a stormtrooper?

S'mores frappuccinos are back! Time to add a half hour to my weekly workout. These things are so good but they're so bad for you. Sugar, fat... irresistible, though.

Seems Stiles came to visit me last night in my dreams self room after the incident with the monster. He's so sweet!!

Seriously? Another werewolf tried to kill me in my dream last night. A new one.

BUT. BUT. BUT. But on the plus side, I woke up this morning and found my jeep in the driveway. Well, it's dream!me's jeep. But it's here! And it's mine! And I just...have to figure out a way to explain that to my dad!

Bringing banana and chia seed muffins to self defense class tomorrow. They turned out edible, I actually impressed myself. I've been wanting to bring a treat to the class for a while, but I wanted it to be healthy and I only had recipes for brownies and chocolate chip cookies. My mom always favored the classics. I had to do some digging, but these sounded good. They're actually vegan, too, and I have a couple ladies in the class who are vegan so they won't be left out.

What...WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT?! My dreams went from nice to unease to scary >

Looks like I'll be utilizing public transportation tomorrow. My speedometer says I'm going 150MPH when I'm parked. Something tells me something is broken.

I guess I'm the Alpha now. Not feeling like I should go embrace my canine side yet though.

Just so everyone knows, there were some conflicts with people who wanted to take my self defense class at the shelter at [address], so I'll be offering an additional class on Saturdays at the same location at 3:00 in the afternoon. Anyone can show up. The only rule is that you are kind and respectful to everyone else in the class including the teacher. In case you were wondering, this means turning off the ringer on your cell phone, too, for the duration of the class.

Well hello there, newbie on this whole community. My name's Marty and I just moved down here from up north, still in California though, and uh... well I'll be going to school around here. And I was told to make sure I hopped on this network, apparently it's a pretty big local thing? I don't know.

So I guess the first thing I should ask is where are all the best skate parks, and uh... what do you do around here? I mean, besides all the sight seeing.

I watched the strangest movie about time travel with my boyfriend. To be fair, we were only half watching it, so I rewatched it today after work. It's called Primer. It's actually pretty good. Anyone else seen it?

I said "yes," but the timing was odd. Only in the sense that he and I were in the middle of a video game, and I was partially stunned and I died. However, I couldn't be happier. My boss was starting to hint at us getting together, ever since we attended his dinner party, a few weeks back.

Anyway, I will stop bragging...

This new dream was kind of mean... I don't like this Jackson person.

Glad to know my uncle is a complete douchebag in my dreams who just manipulates and threatens people to get what he wants. It's not like he's a fucking saint in real life, but he doesn't go around murdering people or turning them into werewolves.

Also, not exactly happy with getting chained up and tortured by a psycho bitch. ...No offense, Allison.

I think I had one of those dreams.... Everyone keeps talking about.... Mine was nice though...

Watching reruns of The West Wing, wishing Jed Bartlet was running for president. I don't have very much hope for the upcoming presidential race.

Among other things, we're going to be getting some new stationary bikes at the gym I work at and I'm unreasonably excited about this. New equipment always gets me excited, though. We must be doing pretty well financially. I guess we have to update some things, though, to keep up with all of the other gyms in the OC. If there's one thing Orange County isn't short on it's gyms.

I need to be more mindful of what I say, after a few drinks. Having to cover up marks from Saturday night isn't as easy as I remember Still, I did have a good time out and back home.

I was thinking of planning a party. My main criteria is glow-in-the-dark body paint and glitter...because of...reasons. I'd say I would host it, but my place isn't that big and I don't want to have glitter as a permanent decoration.

Well, I won't be having any more dreams from here on out. I guess that might be seen as a good thing.

I've been seeing a lot of new faces, so I'm going to mention that in addition to teaching spinning at [name of gym], I teach self-defense at the women's shelter at [address]. You're welcome at either class. I understand that this place has a way of making people nervous about their well-being. You might want to be extra sure of your ability to defend yourself.

Those strange monkeys almost make me wish I brought my hunting gear with me when I moved here. Almost. I doubt monkey meat tastes anything like venison.

I am never going to sleep again.

Blood rain aside, this has been a really great Valentine's Day weekend. It's been so long since I really connected with someone. Usually I buy myself candy, watch Love, Actually, and gripe to my mother over the phone about how awful the holiday is. This year I have no complaints. That caught my mother off guard. Sort of caught me off guard, too.

I've noticed people talking about dreams. Maybe that got into my subconscious, because I remember the dream I had last night vividly. I was back home and planning a mountain climbing trip with my mother. We were going to go to Eagle Mountain for her 45th birthday. She was telling me that we'd be able to see Lake Superior from there.

The thing is that my Mom died years before she would have been 45. And I was young when she died, too young to go mountain climbing. It was strange, but kind of nice. I got to see my mother again. I didn't feel lonely when I woke up, even if it is Valentine's day.

Well, it's official. I'm a full-fledged hunter. In my dreams I've completed my training. My dad basically told me that I passed with flying colors. It's a tradition that we forge a silver bullet when our training is completed only because I use a bow I made an arrowhead. I feel sort of proud of myself. The only thing is that while all of this is happening, my best friend has been abducted by a Japanese trickster spirit and is being held captive.

I need a break from my dreams.

So, what exactly is in the water here? Why am I dreaming about weird shit now? Because last I checked, I don't howl at the moon, my family didn't die in some tragic fire, and I'm not being hunted by crazies. I had to text Laura, just in case

I took a nap and had a dream. I almost died and I think someone is going to die in my place. It was at the hospital's parking lot. There was some kind of wild, exposed wire jumping around and water was pooling on the pavement. I was going to step forward and step onto the charged water, but someone pushed me away and stepped there instead of me. Now he's in the hospital with these horrific burns and he's unconscious. He's supposed to heal faster than human beings, but he's not.

This fog is really creepy. I feel kind of like a wuss for saying that given that I've lived in San Francisco and experienced weather like this before, but this feels different somehow.

In my dreams I saw my ex-boyfriend with another girl. It didn't feel like I was jealous. I was with another guy, too. It felt like we were both okay with the situation. It was... Strange. I guess I'm moving on in my dreams. It feels weird.

Since the weather is back to it's regular self, I was wondering if anyone wanted to get together for like a group outing, tomorrow.

Maybe Universal Studios or Pacific Park out on Santa Monica Pier...I'm also open to ideas. My car can comfortably seat three more people.

On a completely unrelated note, why isn't this version of "Run Away With Me" unavailable? I guess I will just download the regular one cause it's so damn catchy.

Things are getting pretty intense in my dreams. Someone in my circle of friends is possessed by a Japanese trickster spirit, but it's not apparent who it is. People are getting hurt. The dreams are more like nightmares, lately, and when I wake up I'm still unsettled. Running on the treadmill seems to help, so I've been doing a lot of that these past few days.

You know when an unexpected romance is really unexpected? Like when you're falling for someone and they're falling for you and you've both tried to kill one another? This kind of thing would never happen in the real world, right?

Any ideas on how I can tell my father I don't want to spend Thanksgiving with him and his gold-digging wife?

Well, in my dreams I finally got the guts to change my family's code. It used to be Nous chassons ceux qui nous chassent., but now it seems to be Nous protégeons ceux qui ne peuvent pas se protéger eux-mêmes.

Now I suppose it's on me to protect everyone who needs protection.

So I'm facing kind of a dilemma. My parents invited me home this Thanksgiving. They live up north in San Francisco. But this time of year I usually pitch in at a soup kitchen. What would you guys do? It's been a couple years since I ate with my parents.

It's been a bit since I last made any sort of update.

I'm still alive and I was spending my time nerding out and making myself a cosplay outfit. I'm super tired but I think it came together, nicely. What do you all think?

My dreams are pretty tense right now. There's a dark druid we call the Darach running around, performing human sacrifices. They've all been done in groups. Virgins, warriors, healers, philosophers, and lastly guardians. My dad, in an attempt to stop her somehow, offered himself as a sacrifice. I guess it'll be up to me to save him.

You do not want to be stuck in a closet with a claustrophobic werewolf. Scary stuff.
