My Father keeps calling. This will be hard to avoid forever.

I suppose I'll just have to concoct some kind of story. "Hi dad, I'm a vampire!" just won't go over well.

You know, up until this point I'd thought that people stealing food in workplace fridges was just a joke or a myth. Whatever you want to call it. Friday, though, somebody honestly stole my soba noodles. Who steals an honest to god prepared meal?? I mean, maybe a yogurt or something, but really?? Talk about nerve!

Anyway, Monday I'm just going to order in food from that halal place. I suppose that's giving up awful easily, but I was in the mood for falafel, anyway.

You know what I've been craving? Țuică. I shouldn't say it like I've had it a billion times. I've had it maybe twice in my lifetime, but plums are delicious and alcohol made from plums is even more delicious. It's not even the right season for this stuff! I should have been craving it around Christmas. Seriously, appetite, why can't you crave pina coladas right about now?

...Now that I mention it, a pina colada would be pretty tasty.

I died. I found a bullet in my mouth when I woke up this morning. It is what they used to shoot me with.

I will stay in bed today.

Since my mom is never anywhere without her tablet, I bought her a few accessories for Mother's Day. I feel bad that I won't be able to visit her tomorrow. We agreed to delay Mother's Day dinner. I guess I'm sort of lucky in a way that she's not really sentimental, or at least lucky in this particular situation. We'll be getting together next week. I always like to visit San Francisco.

What are you guys doing for Mother's Day?

Man, the weirdest thing about a career in ballet has to be that we keep such a close eye on our bodies! They really encourage it! I mean, before joining the company I checked my weight maybe like once a month? Now I do it constantly. With all of the extra practice I've been doing in preparation for the Romeo and Juliet audition, I've lost about five pounds. Nuts. It's probably good that my second job is around all of those pastries.

I'm watching Eurovision and this year there are a lot of really great entries! There's the usual craziness but I think I'd be torn as to who I were to vote for this year. Anyone else watching?
