Man, the weirdest thing about a career in ballet has to be that we keep such a close eye on our bodies! They really encourage it! I mean, before joining the company I checked my weight maybe like once a month? Now I do it constantly. With all of the extra practice I've been doing in preparation for the Romeo and Juliet audition, I've lost about five pounds. Nuts. It's probably good that my second job is around all of those pastries.

	Very true! And with a lot of athletes, I'm sure! Ooh. Pastries are the best. If I didn't move so fast I would have a much more difficult time buttoning my pants. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Definitely. It's a hard balance. Especially when you're also training in martial arts and stuff. Thankfully my ballet has already given me pretty strong muscles without being overly muscular if you know what I mean. I also like cake, so yeah, the struggle is real. So Romeo and Juliet is your next one? You going for the lead? (Reply to this) (Parent)
