On the heels of some tragic dreams, something completely different.

An alien probe trying to contact whales in Earth's oceans. Only whales are extinct in my time, so the probe starts to terraform the Earth.

Our solution?

We're going to slingshot around the sun back to the 20th century in a decrepit Klingon Bird of Prey and bring back some whales.

I'm assuming this can only end well.

I think I have a thing for my friend's cousin. Not that she shook my hand when Roman introduced us. Maybe she disapproved of my terrible juggling? I can actually juggle better than that, however. I was trying to make Roman's sister smile.

And Roman's mad at me for telling his cousin about the "demon dog". Then again, he's a pissy asshole most of the time anyway. It's not really that surprising.

And then we dug up a dead girl's grave and...no. I'll leave that

I had an exceptionally long Skype date with my mom for Mother's Day. Usually we spend the entire day together with lunch and plenty of shopping. I'm a little bummed we weren't be able to do that this year, but we've planned on doing our tradition a little late when I go to visit.

She was really happy with her new canvases and paints. And amused by her Dunkin' Donuts gift card that I said should last her at least twenty four hours. I swear she's a caffeine addict. We also talked about my upcoming birthday and what I wanted and then finished it up with a not so subtle hint that she still has yet to meet my boyfriend. So all in all it was a successful conversation!
