So my fellow Princess and lifemate is totally the best because look what she got me:

Isn't he the most precious, ginormous baby?? His name's Link! He's a wolfdog hybrid, from a rescue up in Lake Tahoe. But he looks a lot like the Link in my dreamworld, who appeared as a divine beast meant to help save the Twili kingdom. I basically spent a lot of time riding him and hanging out in his shadow, in imp form, but he's a good kid.

I just wanted to show him off. Nothing new to report, but hey, congrats to all the college people who have finished their exams! Never bothered with the college thing but I'm pretty certified in Arabic now so I'll start volunteering at the Arab Community Center for Economic and Social Services. And to think this time last year I was still on the pole.

Which is actually good exercise, by the way. I've given pole dancing lessons before, highly recommend them.

So, it seems I've gotten my very first item from my dreams. It's a Yankees baseball hat. I haven't put it on just yet because I don't know what to expect, but in my dreams the hat made me invisible.

I used it during a game of capture the flag! And we're not just talking regular capture the flag here. We're talking Greek demi-god capture the flag. Serious injuries and all. It's not something to be messed with.

And Percy? Sorry.

Can anybody recommend a good gym? I've decided to get a little fitter before attempting any hiking and think a gym is the place to start.

So I've filled up at nearly ten composition notebooks with equations and theories and notes and diagrams from my dreams. I'm thinking that I'll need to buy some stock in the company or just start buying in bulk. I think I might need to go to a nearby university that has a good physics department to help me decipher this. Google isn't cutting it anymore...

Also, it seems that my other self experienced quite a lot of misogyny in her day as well. Apparently being a physicist isn't a proper occupation for a woman? That's about the same thing I heard when I was being flown over to the Middle East to cover the war. (But in regards to being a journalist, not a physicist) Nice to know there are some consistency between the realities [/end sarcasm].
