So my fellow Princess and lifemate is totally the best because look what she got me:

[ooc: just pretend that's not a stranger in the pic, k]

Isn't he the most precious, ginormous baby?? His name's Link! He's a wolfdog hybrid, from a rescue up in Lake Tahoe. But he looks a lot like the Link in my dreamworld, who appeared as a divine beast meant to help save the Twili kingdom. I basically spent a lot of time riding him and hanging out in his shadow, in imp form, but he's a good kid.

I just wanted to show him off. Nothing new to report, but hey, congrats to all the college people who have finished their exams! Never bothered with the college thing but I'm pretty certified in Arabic now so I'll start volunteering at the Arab Community Center for Economic and Social Services. And to think this time last year I was still on the pole.

Which is actually good exercise, by the way. I've given pole dancing lessons before, highly recommend them.

That is probably the largest dog I have ever seen. He looks very nice though.

He's huge, he basically takes up our whole bed. But he's great for spooning. And he's such a sweetheart!

My girlfriend and I got a puppy a month ago and he's growing but I don't think he's going to be that big!

It's them wolf genes, yo, they make the fluffers gigantic. I guess the part German shepard helps too. They're good at tracking things though! Like really good.

What kind of puppy did you get?

Ah I see. So playing hide and seek would be hard then :)

We got a rottweiler puppy, she's so cute!

Shhyeah! And the big goofball would just give himself away with the slobber puddles wherever he was hiding.

Rotties are adorable too! She's got a sweet face. Zellie and our best vampire friends have a Rottweiler too, though he's grown out of the fat puppy stage. But we're going to introduce Link and Felix as soon as possible.

hehehe oh yeah I bet he slobbers a lot right? Like after drinking and stuff.

Thank you. I fell for her as soon as I saw her and luckily Furiosa did too. I'm looking forward to introducing her to other dogs. I think she's going to love playing with everybody.

I don't think he realizes how big he is? He thinks he's still a puppy and sits on my lap like one.

It's cute, but ow.

I can forgive him for the giant drool puddles he left on the bed from chewing his paw for the loooooooove too, I guess.

I showed a picture of him to Roadkill, he thinks he'd be the best honorary MC member. Because we're close to a biker gang, this is our life--

I gotta get him a bigger bone to gnaw on.

Oh, hey, Roadkill! How's he doing? He and Impa still a thing, or is that a rumor?

Maybe we can teach him to do this!

Impa spent the night at his place a couple days ago. I made sure to slip condoms in her purse in case she forgot. I don't want her going unprepared, okay?

Congratulations on not being on a pole anymore, though I hear the money's decent.

As for your baby monster, give him two extra heads and he'd have made a good Cerberus. Get him a spiked collar.

It's way decent. I actually made more stripping than I did managing the place.

Ooh! Maybe that will be his Halloween costume. I bet I can glamour up extra heads.

I'd say its fair. It's not like they're the ones that flaunt their natural or unnatural goods (I'm assuming boob jobs are common), but then again, I don't know the mechanics of running a strip club. Any common myths and misconcenptions you'd like to bust?

Glamour. Right. To quote my boss, 'that's a thing.'

Plenty! Just because we give lap dances doesn't mean we'll do anything else in the parking lot, we actually pay to work and while the money can be good, a chunk of it goes to the club's house fee and also tips for the other staff, and we're independent contractors as opposed to like, employees who get actual employee treatment.

It's a thing. I have magic, it's a thing.

Strippers =/= Prostitutes. You'd think the clear-cut difference in the definition thanks to Dictionary.com would make it obvious to people. I think they just assume they're inclusive 100% of the time.

I had a taste of it, I believe you. I don't see the point of denial when proof is punching me in the nose on a constant basis.

It's a pretty common assumption. An annoying one, but. One of those things. It's also not like I was ever thinking sexy things while giving a lapdance for a customer. It was mostly what errands I needed to run on the way home from work.

You'd be surprised how long some choose to stay swimming in that River of Denial but good on you for not!

I mean. I know all the dream talk sounds crazy but I promise it'll make sense someday.
