Someone in one of my classes said that this was a good place to try and get to meet some new people. Here goes, I guess.

My name is Piper McLean, and I'm a college freshman at USC. Hi, I guess.

My niece has talked me into taking her to see Finding Dory next weekend. I don't normally do kid's movies, but considering Kira is usually able to talk me into doing just about anything for her, I said yes. I suppose that means I should probably watch Finding Nemo sometime before then. And before anyone says it, I know it came out over ten years ago and most people have seen it by now, but I was 18 when that came out and wasn't exactly into that sort of thing then. I was more into drinking, drugs and debauchery then.

I've been informed that I'm doing that thing were I work too much and don't go out or properly take care of myself. Whoops. It's been awhile since I've been on this thing.

For those of you I don't know, hi, I'm Daisy Johnson.

School's done. And that? Is an awesome feeling.

Just one more year to go.

If the dreams don't drive me mad in the meantime.

As my school year ends, so, apparently, does my run as a teacher at Hogwarts. Ah well. I can't say it wasn't exciting. And very emotionally overwhelming by the end of it.

I'm announcing the Future Industries Race League! It's open to any car that meets certain standards. We'll kick off the league with a few heats to get people used to the track and help with placement before the league starts in earnest. Details on how to sign up and make sure your car meets the standards can be found at the league's website, here.

There'll also be a special race on July 4th. There'll be food, music, contests and fireworks.

Tickets for the July 4th event will go to local STEM programs for girls.

And as always, our race track is open to the public.
