More dreams. I could think of worse dreams than being a pirate. Daughter of Captain Hook in fact. Well, the youngest daughter. A little dark though. Apparently King Beasty? He brought dead villains back to life and trapped them on the Isle of the Lost where they had kids they didn't care about. No food. Well, that's not true. The Isle received the spoiled, rotten leftovers from Auradon.

What a guy.

I've finally had one of those dreams that you all seem to be so keen on. I've seen so many of you talk about how your dreamselves are nothing like how you are in real life, so I was a little worried.

But in my dream, I purchased an ancient, abandoned castle in Scotland and had it shipped to America so I could build it on top of the tallest skyscraper in New York. My dreamself has pizazz. I think I'm going to enjoy these.

Turns out mom and my dad are shit parents in my dream, I was even put in the foster care at some point. If you acted up, the woman would put you in the attic for her son to feed off him. Yes, she was harboring a vampire child.

How fucked up is that? If he killed a kid, the conveniently "ran away". I killed him, accidentally, but than got the hell out there. I tried going back to my mom, but she loved her drugs and her pimp too much.


The only slightly cool thing about this dream was my imaginary friend (I know, I know, sounds like I was such a loser, I kinda was) Alex. Only turns out just an deity trying to take over my body for herself. Even my imaginary sucked.

It all worked out though, my soul was saved,

I got Diana, a watcher, helping me out since I'm "the Chosen One."

Well that was gross. Has anyone else seen the Oscar Meyer commercial where the girl puts peanut butter on her hot dog? Why would anyone do that? I'll eat some weird things, but that's just too weird even for me. Is there anyone who would actually do that?

So after doing some math with Nico, it looks like when he moved to America is about the same time Mom decided to take her show on the road, showcasing haunted houses all over the states instead of just in and around New Orleans. I mean, maybe she was running out of locations like she said. Or... maybe she was using it as an excuse. Dad couldn't sue for visitation if he couldn't keep track of where she was, after all.

I'm pretty sure the immediate reaction to waking up from a dream shouldn't be "Well that's a skill that can come in use here" and that basically being it because of looking at it from a strategic standpoint. And yet.... There are two people i can blame for that being my reaction. Haven't decided if it's one or the other or both. It's probably both.

Hey, I'm Clary. I just moved here. I've got to ask though...are vivid dreams, I mean like really vivid normal? It almost felt real, if that makes sense. Don't mind me, I probably sound crazy.

Dreamers, do you ever have ... gaps in your memories? Where you have a rough idea of something that happened and when it happened, but the details are missing?

So. Waking up with artifacts from the dreams is a thing?

Because I've got a god damn bracelet on my wrist and it's reading my vitals and sending them back to the mother ship or something.

What the hell?

I saw a youtube video on how to make your own fake amiibo cards for Animal Crossing (as well as anything else that uses amiibo cards) and I'm not sure how I feel about it. On one hand, I would love to be able to bring my villagers I was so attached to in New Leaf here (calling Shep). And on the other hand that just... really feels way too much like cheating to me and I'm not sure I could bring myself to do it.

I have no idea exactly what Nico's video game did to him, I just wish it didn't involve a character I share the same name as apparently not doing anything. Because there's nothing like reading next to your significant other when all of a sudden he's yelling at Will Turner. Because I thought he was telling me I was totally useless at first. And all I'm doing is just. Studying.

Why must there be some sort of reason for someone to get a large pile of books on a given subject? Can't a person just get lost in the history section and end up with nine books that are generally focused because of aforementioned getting lost in the history section?

Oh thank god. I've never been happier to be back in my own body.

And it means I can finally go visit my siblings and Helen can't go telling them that they got a new sister. I'm definitely going to go pick up some goodies to bring them so they know who the best older sibling is ;)

I never realized before how much differently people treat you by how old they think you are. I can't drive right now, no one would believe my ID is me. And gods know Nico is overprotective enough right now. So I haven't really had many opportunities to leave the house. I've been doing all my classwork online for now, and just for a change of scenery decided to go to a coffee shop.

I'm an art major. Specifically, I'm studying cgi and animation. So most of my classwork is... drawing. And the amount of people who came up to me today as I was working on my sketches to be patronizing was just insane. Yes, I'm sitting here and doing art. No I'm not doing "silly drawings instead of my homework", yes it's nice that your child is "a little artist too". No I can't draw you whatever you ask for and give it to you (or more insultingly, sell it to you for five dollars or less). I'm already busy with what I'm already drawing.

And artists get enough of the last part as it is, with people both consuming our work without appreciating that it is work as it is. But when I'm thirteen again...

I don't know, maybe being thirteen again is affecting my hormones. Or maybe I never realized how annoying it was when I was thirteen the first time.

So I'm still trying to wrap my head around the things that are happening right now. I just don't understand how someone can suddenly become a different age or gender. I've seen some people talking about how this is just something that happens around here, but how? Is there anyone who can explain this stuff besides just, it's something that happens?

Well the past three days have shown me that I'm not ready to be a parent to any type of humans. It's great getting to see Hazel as a little kid and spend time with her, and it annoying dad since he's on location filming and can't come back right now, but I am not enjoying having to parent her. I guess I should just be glad she's still her even if she's not the right aged her so it's really only when we go out someplace that it's an issue with people thinking she's 13.

Ugh, I can't tell what's worse. Being stuck as a blonde again, or the fact that I have to deal with Terra and the inevitable betrayal to come for a third time.

You know, I'll never understand why people say Tom Nook from animal crossing is evil. He doesn't charge any interest on his loans, my mortgage has absolutely no due date, and I pay it off doing things around my island (and my village before that) that I was going to do anyway. Besides, he's got two little nephews? to take care of.

And if you catch him at the right time in the tent, you can annoy him by running around in circles while he's trying to read or drink his beer. No, Nintendo, I don't believe that can's a soda in the least.

Blathers, on the other hand, can quit telling me how gross he thinks my donations are before I find a new museum curator. I wish I could have just hired your sister instead.

I feel hiding our keys was a completely unfair way to get us to clean the house. Just say you think the place turned itno a pigsty while we were all cooped up in here! Meanwhile my poor little girl thought all those blankets on the couch were for her, and she wasn't happy I took her newfound nest away from her to throw it in the laundry.

For the last damn time - I had nothing to do with those fucking ghost soldiers that were around the last week. Yeah I'm all about ghosts and things but when I summon soldiers back from the dead? They show up as skeletons.

If my Dreams are any indication of what's going to happen next - I'm going to be able to save a lot on air fair once I can get control of this new ability. I'm still in the Labyrinth although I'm not alone - I ran into a ghost who's showing me the way through and how to avoid dangerous traps and monsters while helping me learn to control my abilities. No more accidentally summoning skeleton soldiers when I get pissed at my cousin or causing cracks in the earth so that'll be good at least. I've got this other one called shadow-travelling that's proving a little harder as dreamNico keeps ending up in China when he's trying to get someplace else but you know it's not that easy using the darkness as a shortcut to some other part of the world.

Are we sure those boxes and coins are really what they seem to be? I'd like to think I'm not an untrusting person by nature, but weird things happening in Orange County are never as simple as "Oh look free cool thing", and I'm afraid I'm going to have angry flying turtles coming after me, dropping spiky balls on my head.

Wow, all of Italy is under lockdown. I am very glad I am not over there right now, but it is weird getting updates from my friends there about what is going on. I really hope this virus gets under control soon because this fear is going crazy.

Guess who's back! Back again....okay, even I know that was just bad. Anyway, like I said, I'm back. For anyone who doesn't know me, I'm Percy Jackson and I was just in New York for the last few months doing an internship. Got the opportunity to finish my internship back here and even though New York is home, The OC has become home. I mean, all my family is out here now, so I took the opportunity to come back early.

I'm sure that this means something crazy is going to happen any minute now.

...I get that maybe I'm a little tone deaf and definitely didn't inherit Mom or Dad's musical abilities, but I still feel that howling when I'm singing along to spotify is a little rude and uncalled for.




Just so everyone knows, I'm talking about the dogs. Nico and Hazel are not howling while I'm singing (badly) with the soundtrack to Labyrinth.

One of the reasons I bonded so much with Nico and Will's dogs so much when I met them, I think, is because I always wanted a pet of some kind. Mom... wasn't a fan. Cats, dogs, and rabbits all shed and birds were too noisy. And... then she started going all over the US to film her show, and we wouldn't be able to take a pet with us. So when I met Cesare and then Ziggy, I fell absolutely in love with them. How could I not? They were so sweet.

I still always wanted my own baby one day. And today... Nico came home with this adorable sphynx kitten. He claims he just found her. He always knew I wanted a house goblin one day, so that was very convenient. Still, I'm not looking a gift horse in the mouth. ...Gift goblin, whichever.

Anyway, I want all of you to meet Nefertiti.

So I laid down to take a nap this afternoon and fell into a Dream about what happened after I ran away from my cousin at the camp. I ran off into the woods, which are full of monsters and I don't have a weapon there, and find the entrance to the Labyrinth. Yeah you read that right - The Labyrinth from mythology. Well I didn't find it so much as my clumsy self fell into the entrance but I made it through okay, found a path to the Underworld and my dad's realm and that's where I got my sword.

Which explains why it drains Will if he touches it but doesn't affect Hazel or I - if anybody other than a child of Hades/Pluto touches it it will drain their life force because it's made from Stygian iron.

Things are different here. I sometimes miss Japan. Or speaking in Japanese. I grew up speaking both languages early on, but sometimes it hurts to translate things, still. Especially when trying to learn Latin for law school, too. I have note books comparing everything and I think I've got it.

I try not to use things like Google translate because it's not always accurate, you know?

So I finally got my dad's birthday present cleared through customs - because of course my dad would send something that had to go through customs like this - and got home to open it and find a life-size porcelain Bigfoot skeleton. I already know what I'm going to do with it too.

I'm pretty sure my new droid is a wanted criminal, but we made another friend Finn?! who was also a wanted criminal and stole my boss's junky old space ship to escape an attack from something called the First Order.

So now I'm a wanted criminal too apparently.

At least things are getting exciting!

Everything seemed to be going well, too. But I guess the Dreams are like real life, someone you care about dies and the whole world teeters on the brink with ancient monsters and your other best friend loses his goddamn mind.

Why couldn't I have attended a law school with a three-year program instead of a four-year program? I need a break. Just a few more months, then the bar exam. I just have to keep reminding myself that I'm almost done.

You know you've gotten used to weird decor when it's nowhere near Halloween and you don't even blink an eye to find your brother put up a sign that says "No trespassing. We're tired of hiding the bodies."

You know what? I’m blaming Percy for this. Somehow this is his fault and as soon as I can figure out exactly how? I’m calling him to blame him. I woke up this morning and the my damn sword from the Dreams was leaning against the front of Cesare’s bed. I’m glad that for whatever reason he decided in his little doggy brain that he wanted to sleep in the bed with Will and me and cuddle last night. He normally doesn’t like to be that close at night.

The sword doesn’t look like Riptide. Or any sword that I’ve ever seen. Not even in one of Father’s movies. It’s all black. And I don’t mean the blade is painted black. It’s black metal. Not dark gray. BLACK. And was sharp as hell when I tested the blade. And immediately got chewed out by my boyfriend for cutting my palm on the blade when I “didn’t know where it had been”. He didn’t seem to like my response of “in my dreams” - pre-med is making him not appreciate my sarcasm anymore. Either that, or the fact that just touching the handle seemed to drain him as much as it scared me, and that’s what caused him to frown at my response. I’m going to stick with blaming it on pre-med though. Worries me less

I don’t even want to know what touching it would do to either of the dogs. Although when I showed it to Hazel it didn’t do anything to her when she touched it, so have fun figuring that one out. I wonder if I can find a sword mount with same day delivery on Prime so that I can get it out of Ziggy and Cesare’s reach before I have to go to class.

Is that dream thing contagious? How come I get to be an orphan on some shitty desert planet and not something amazing? What kind of rubbish is this?

Do you have some time?

Things I was not expecting or wanting to do today. Fight the DMV about my identity because of the 'Real ID' law despite having the documents required and extra just to be safe. And I still have to go back and do it all over again because it wasn't resolved.

We didn't think how much we would miss around the OC with the holidays and stuff when we decided to spend some more time in LA after the MCR concert. But Orange County is always going to do weird Orange County things, so did we really miss that much considering? We're back home, and Cesare is acting like he doesn't know who we are or why we think we're allowed in his space and Ziggy is acting like the week and a half we were gone lasted years and won't leave my side. Clearly they have very different reactions to missing their dads.

It's too late to ask for this year, so NEXT year? All I want for my birthday is to pick the Christmas decorations for the house myself. I'm not saying that all of that was Nico's fault, of course. But at the same time...

I did have a good birthday, though. We went out for seafood, I got a new drawing tablet as well as other art supplies... The tablet is honestly the nicest I have ever owned, though, and I can't wait to open it and try it out. I still can't believe my brother spent what he did on it. He isn't telling me what he spent, but I've researched this brand enough to know that the lowest end models are expensive as hell, let alone the model he got me. ...Thank you again, Nico!

Could anyone explain to me why I was just attacked by the fucking wreath in my living room!? There I was minding my own business when it suddenly had teeth and tried to fucking strangle me! I blasted that fucker into a million piney pieces, but now I don’t know if any of our other decorations are going to get the bright idea to attack.

I'm supposed to be working on a project for my class, and the house since that is my project, but instead I've stolen my sister's computer and spent the day redecorating her sims houses. Maybe i can screenshot them and turn them in for credit...

I think Ziggy might finally have outgrown his chewing stage. And judging by the last conversation I had with Father, it couldn’t have happened at a better time. My stepmom broke her phone and since she was getting a new one, he decided we all should get new ones. Will and I are supposed to go this weekend to pick ours out, I’m thinking about getting the most expensive one in the store because he can afford it and didn’t get me a birthday present this year.

Father’s not the greatest with the day to day dad stuff, I know, but he does what he can to take care of us the best he knows how. Which in case you hadn’t guessed is money. Prepare yourself - he’ll be pushing to pay your tuition for next year and to pay off your loans etc. Brotherly advice? Let him.
