Amazingly my sister has beaten me in introducing myself to the world or at least the county.

I'm John Connor and I look forward to seeing exactly what this place has to offer.

I thought when I moved to Orange County the weather would be a little more reasonable than what it is in Nevada. It's October and it was 103 degrees today. That's not cool, weather. Get it together.

Sarah suggested I register for this network because it 'might do me some good.' I suppose it's the digital equivalent of getting out more.

I don't know why I dreamt of underwater soccer and huge ocean monsters. I'm sure it's simply something I ate. Underwater sports where nobody has gills but everyone can breathe regardless just make no sense.

Oi, dreams. Again. Really tired of dreaming of this Panem place. It is rather taxing. But hey, Peeta was there, the girl that thinks he's a stalker, and even Portia. It's an odd team if I do say so myself.

Since everyone is talking about their dreams and the fantastic places they dreamt of so I figured I would share this. It has been a while since I shared a photo and it is one of those whimsical places I would think would find its way into a dream.

California. Not bad.

I realized talking to someone today that people only see the glamorous side of what I do for a living. They see the pointe shoes, shiny ribbons, the glitter and the tutus. Most have a vague idea of the struggles of dancers, and athletes in general, but you only know the tip of the iceberg.

You see the air cast on my ankle and see an injury but you do not know it has been building for months; that we are pushed to keep performing through the pain until our body breaks because we are afraid to disappoint ourselves and our teachers. You do not see the instructors that parade us in groups in front of each other for public weighing so the instructors can criticize and tell us we are too heavy. You do not see the girl that tries to hide rolls of change in her leotard because she is ashamed to admit her eating disorder because it means being black listed in her sport.

That is what I say to those that say we do not deserve the money we earn, that it is wrong that the Olympians get paid. That our job is easy. I am lucky I get to go home to someone that loves me. Someone that tells me how beautiful I am every day when if feels like the rest of the world is only criticizing my body. And I realize how much of a rant I just went on and I am sorry it is so long, not that I said it.

So. Scrappy Doo.

I was realizing earlier today--well, yesterday, now, I've been working on this post for a while--that I don't really know you guys that well. I mean, I have this whole storehouse of memories that don't really apply to you as you are here. And I wanted to change that.

So... hi. I'm Twilight. When I'm not being a pony, I'm majoring in computer science, mechanical engineering, history, and English. I grew up in Connecticut. I have one older brother, and I don't really have any hobbies. I'm too busy to have something recreational stick.

I don't know. I don't really know how to introduce myself to people. But tell me about yourselves. [Unsent] And then I can take the responses and use them to make a template for future introductions. No, Twilight, that's creepy. [/unsent]

All this Halloween talk got me thinking...

HOW ABOUT A HALLOWEEN FLASH MOB?!

It would be brilliant, right? We could all be dressed up in our costumes! Complete with glow sticks and flashlights. Would be a sight for people to see on their morning commute or ride home.

On another note, think it would work if I got a puppy and came home with it? I mean my mum couldn't say no to such a cute thing as a puppy. I am sure my brother Charlie could help find me a good one since he works with animals.

I can't believe people are talking about Halloween already. It's not even October yet. Pretty soon the stores will have Christmas stuff out! I do however know what I am being for Halloween and no I'm not telling you.

I still need to dig those pictures out. Sorry. Got swamped in text messages and homework. Yes, Faye, I did actually do my homework last night. Shoulda had a party though while you were working =P

I need a drink now that I am not getting random texts all day and night long. I know way too much about most of you and your relationships now.

And why is the only sports on tv now football or baseball? It will be a long year if there is no hockey.

I don't know if this thing is working again, and I don't really trust my phone.

Man, people really forget all about the Olympics quick around here. It's.. been what? A month? No one wants to book a gold medalist for endorsements anymore. On the bright side it's less hectic at the house. We're actually looking at maybe tearing down the old house and building something newer on the land. Maybe even something with a pool, but I wouldn't want Haymitch to feel left out. =P

People are already talking about Halloween costumes, when did it get so late in the year?

I guess if I get desperate I could borrow one of the princess dresses from work ;) But I have a few weeks to whip something up, that should be enough I'm sure.

Anybody have any awesome ideas for costumes that they wanna share?

On the plus side, I found the most magnificently fabulous red glasses that actually seem to help me see my stitching perfectly.

Well, looks like I'm gonna need ta get a full-time job mighty soon. Just done inventory on the farm, and them furry things did such a number on our crops that even with the help we're gettin' from the state, we ain't gonna be able to put food on the table this winter.

I haven't got the faintest idea where to start. I got my GED and all, but I ain't never been nothing 'cept a farmer.

Why in tarnation are folks so darn rude sometimes? Is it that much of a hassle to say " 'scuse me" when you practically knock a lady over? Sheesh!

Nothing like divided guilt to ruin what was an absolutely amazing opening ceremony. Seriously. Gorgeous and all ENGLISH and stuff. It's been good here. I've run into some people I vaguely know who are doing other shit now, and I've spent time with my amazing girlfriend and all kinds of stuff like that, but I've got one of those tough and shitty situations that I'm stuck in.

Do I go? Do I stay?

Do I choose the kid that I abandoned who is about to lose the one thing that's really defined him up to this point? Do I choose the girl I love who is facing a major once in a lifetime shot at something not many people get to even DO, who needs my support now more than ever, and another friend who can use support as well?

No matter what I choose, I'm going to hurt somebody here. No matter what I choose I'm going to be the bad guy, and no matter what I choose, it's still going to suck on one end or the other.

I have no idea what to do here. None. Why can't the answer ever be easy?

...for as long as I live...I will kill it on sight and consider it to be PTSD. True, they're absolutely brilliant for target practice. Nothing better than taking aim at hairy bollocks. But I'd rather like to be done with the little menaces sooner rather than later.

Whew! I feel like I ain't had a minute to sit down and breathe since all this shakin' started. Seems like the second we get the animals all rounded up and calmed down, another of them quakes comes along and stirs 'em all up again. Least it's good exercise. Reckon it's gotta stop sooner or later, right?

I may have suffered some mild head trauma in the earthquake.

Well, okay, I got hit with a bookshelf. It happens.

Anyway, I may have experienced some of these shared otherworldly memories that are all the rage these days. However, I can't be certain, owing to the aforementioned head trauma. I made a few notes of the experiences I had, and I'd like to cross-reference any information you might have with mine to either confirm or disprove these memories.

Specifically AJ, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, and RD. I'm also told that there's a young lady named Rarity who occasionally visits the network? We haven't met, but I think I've seen you in my dreams. I'd love to hear from you as well.

Is there a way to phrase that so it doesn't sound sexual? I'll worry about it later.

Also, if anyone else has memories of a pony society, I'd like your input.

... hamsters everywhere... some of my fish tanks are cracked...

I feel kind of bad that everyone has bad dreams instead of good dreams! I'm having GREAT dreams about being a pony and having friends it's the best! There's Twilight Sparkle and Applejack and Rarity and Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy and WAIT YOU GUYS ARE ALL ON HERE TOO DO YOU DREAM OF BEING A PONY?

Or am I just super mega crazy?
