Looks like the dreams are starting to get into the best friend territory. The first time that I ever met my best friend, Chloe.

The dream didn't just show me that. I also don't want you to be surprised by bullet holes in the shirt upstairs.

Turns out the prison wasn't secure like we thought. We got over run, and took some losses. T-Dog and Carol didn't make it. Lori went into labor. Ain't sure what happened there, but Maggie and Carl came out with the baby. And for everyone who's following along, we found some crutches for Herschel. He and Beth found a place to wait out the attack, and survived.

How do you feel about managing the restaurant today? Feel like I need to take a personal day.

Well... I guess the whole dream thing was bound to happen sooner or later.

Looks like I'd been traveling around the world training with combat and survivalist specialists, just so I could join the Crows. My old man says that I'm just like my cousin, Bruce, except that I'm actually going somewhere with my life.

Also, my cousin's been gone for three years and I decide 'Hey, lets break into the place.' Because my step-sister calls me saying that Sophie was kidnapped. Which brought me back to Gotham early. Also, Luke is something else.

I think, right now, I'm glad that my sister is off in Italy. Considering these damn dreams, but I plan to check on her anyway.

On top of all of that. OW. Guess it's a good thing I know someone good at stitching up wounds, so I'm probably going to have a scar on my left shoulder. Along with a bruise along my cheek, but that's neither here nor there.

Hunting ghost killers is always fun.

At least there were no reapers or wendigos involved this time. Just a good old vengeful spirit.

I really don't like these dreams.

So... I'm starting to really wonder about this damn haunted house. Supposedly there was banging on the wall and I'd thought that it was Shirley doing it. Yet, my big sister wasn't doing any such thing. I really, really hate these dreams. That damn house is creepy enough as it is. Add banging on the walls to shit, that makes it worse.

First off, I would like to say that overall...Animal Crossing: New Horizons is a fun game.

However...

I dislike that the exercise equipment is mostly just for decoration. The workout bench is basically a bed and the exercise ball only bounces...at least make it a chair. I just want my little dude to workout. It’s not fair that I get to see the animals doing cardio and using small weights while I can’t do either.

Anyway, that’s my rant...sorry.

I finally made it to the shore in my Dreams after almost drowning in the sea my tears made. I’m sitting with the animals on shore trying to dry off but nobody has any ideas except for one of the mice and the Dodo. The mouse is going to recite for us while we dry but when that’s clearly not going to work the Dodo declares it’s time for a caucus race. The track is almost a circle and the rules are for us to run for as long as they want, stopping and starting as they want and everybody ends up dry.

The Dodo declares everyone has won and that I need to give them their prizes! I search my pockets and luckily find a pack of candies in my pocket that aren’t wet. And there are just enough of them for me to give one to everyone else. And since I don’t have anything other than my thimble in my pocket that’s my prize.

Now that things have settled down around the house some with the holidays done I can announce that we’ve added another animal to our growing herd. Regulus’ mare foaled a beautiful pony that I’ve decided we’re going to keep. She represents the best of both of her parents. And has done wonders for calming down Shadowdancer just by being born. He’s a rather doting father on his little one. And the girls can now stroke his nose and feed him apples without Regulus or I having to watch him out of the corner of our eyes to make sure he doesn’t get spooked. We still have to be nearby but progress is still progress.

Looks like we found the missing kid. I swear, this dream thing, it's like a soap opera. Kid was in the lake. So that'll be one of the hardest conversations, when I go and tell his mom we found him.

I don't know, though. Something doesn't sit right. Spent the day at a facility in town, a lab. Watched the security tapes of the night Will disappeared. We had to call the search off because of rain, but there was no rain on the tapes. I don't know what the deal is, but those guys are lying.

And then we found Will in the lake. Seems a little suspicious to me.

Got the dog checked out at the vet. He's deaf and blind, and pretty old, but he's reasonably healthy.

Just need a name for him now. Didn't stick around at my dream dad's place long enough to ask what the pup's name was.

Dad finally reached out to us. Can't tell us where he is. He gave us a list of names. Told us to do our jobs. 3 different couples went missing from 3 different states. Sammy pulled over, upset and angry that we were going to Indiana instead of California. And I don't blame him....after what happened. But Dream me does. He was given an order from Dad and he's following it. Sam left me to head to California but me...I'm still heading to Indiana to hopefully save people.

That can't be good. Woke up from a nap so maybe I'll find out what happens later. For now its pizza and beer time.

Lat night's dream showed me how my dream persona ended up getting involved in Karate. Saw some older kids go in the Cobra Kai dojo, and I went home and told my mom and even though my step dad was a royal jerk, he paid for me to join. And then adult me was teaching my own students, treating them the same way Syd treated me. It was something of an awakening, but I have a feeling dream me isn't going to change his ways. He's an ass, plain and simple.

I had a dream in the dream. A nightmare really. Both my legs and my right arm were torn off. Bloody stumps under the blankets. And I saw a man crouched over me, watching. I didn't know him, but when I woke up in the dream, Lods was there watching me.

Samson sent me to find a Scorpion Boy, but when I asked for directions I got sent to Lobster Girl. Claws for hands, same difference. Except the first guy I'd asked for directions, who apparently sent me on a goose chase, beat me to it. He wanted to shake hands, no hard feelings, but when I gripped his hand, I had visions of death like I do in my dreams. I slid the ring off his hand, and kept it when I drove off.

Bastard was waiting for me when I got back. He and Samson seem to know each other pretty well. I gave the ring back, after Samson looked at it.

Turns out Scutter, the asshole who keeps showing up in my dreams within the dreams, visions or whatever the hell it is, he's my father. In the dreams. That's what Samson told me. Truth told I don't know what to think about it.

Seems I'm trying to not sleep because if I sleep I dream, and Lods can get in my dreams. I don't know how. I don't want to know how.

After this bombshell about Scutter got dropped on me not once but twice, Lods was doing his performance where he holds and object and gets details from it. Probably some carney trick. But Samson passed him a trinket that had been Scutters, and had the same emblem on it as the ring I'd taken from Bofa earlier. Lods had a seizure when he touched it, and at the same time I had another vision of my legs and my arm gone. Lods kept muttering something in a foreign language, turned out to be Latin, and turned out I knew what he was saying. 'By this sign we conquer'.

After that I went to watch Ruthie's snake charmer show, and help gather the silver thrown at her after the performance. In her trailer after the show, she kissed me and I left. resisting sleep, but I woke up just as my dream self started to nod off.

Oh fun. I have my own personal Warden. A big gun assigned to sneak up on me in the dead of night and try to startle me into breaking the laws of magic as per the White Council, so they can bring justice reigning down on me. Because I did break the Laws once, to save my own skin. But that's neither here nor there. Morgan wants me to fail, he wants to roast me.

And it doesn't escape notice he's more than capable of the murders I'm investigating. But then, technically, so am I. So that's not really much to go on. I just really don't like the guy, and he doesn't like me. It's clearly a mutual dislike. Problem is he's in a position of authority over me and one slip up could bring the Council down on me.

I doubt I'd get a slap on the wrist and a Warden looking over my shoulder a second time.

I tried some of that animal volunteer work today. Got bit twice but it was worth it.
