Spoke on the phone to my mum this morning. It's a bit odd, not having her around all the time. Seems like I'm calling her every other day to make up for it. Maybe I'll fly her out here for a week or so. She's hardly been out of London let alone out of the country. Might do her a bit of good.

Last night, my shower curtain rod fell down; luckily, not while I was in the shower. I tried to put it back myself, but I can't seem to get the right angle for it. Technically, if I can't get it back up, I come just take baths, but showers are nice too. Might have to give one or two of the men I know a call to see if one of them might be able to put it back up for me.

Also, no new dreams since Emma became the Dark One. I know from the others that everything eventually works out, but it still makes me feel uneasy, not knowing for myself what happens. I would ask them, but part of me likes to experience it for myself.

I can't believe my baby girl is one year old today.

Mom and Dad have been loving their first trip out to the West Coast. Mom has been out to the beach almost every day and Dad even enjoyed the visit to Disneyland. Seeing them really hit home how much I missed them and I'm kind of sad that they're leaving on Saturday.

I've also been continuing the hunt for a new roommate. There have been a few that seemed somewhat decent and some that were...a bit kooky. But I'm holding out hope that I find a good fit soon.

I think that Pokemon Go is playing a prank on me or something. I take Dragon out for runs on the beach every morning, so that I can hatch some eggs and practically all the 2k eggs have been weedles or pidgeys. I did get a Jigglypuff once, but I want a Pikachu.

Also, if you're trying to hatch eggs, don't do this. I mean, I figured that everyone would know that putting your phone in the microwave is a bad idea.

In my opinion, there are few things more beautiful than seeing stars being born. This is a lovely photograph of it, though nothing beats seeing it with your own two eyes. I think I need to take a trip to see this.
