hiya! How are you? Been a while!! You and Gin have candy for the holiday?

I don't think I'm going to do anything for Halloween this year. I put a pumpkin out, and within twenty-four hours some hooligans had smashed it.

I'm slowly but surely turning into a grumpy old man who yells at small children to get off his lawn.

I suppose I've never really understood the tradition of Halloween. Where I grew up, in Lithuania, November First was our day of mourning those who had past, and the night before was more of a preparation than a celebration.

The closest thing I can think of would be Užgavėnės, which is the day before Lent begins. All the young children go door to door, and are given coins or our version of pancakes.

I think in America, you call it Mardi Gras, and it's celebrated very differently.

So! My costume is coming along really well? I mean, the eyes look really cool when I paint them on there.

The only problem is that I painted my skin black all around the eyes, to match my black wings, you know? But now I have black paint smudges all over everything.

I guess it's back to the drawing board. Only one week left!

Okay, so Qui-gon says I'm the 'chosen one'. So that along with the fact that mother claimed I had no father, I'm calling it now: I'm space Jesus. It totally makes sense.

Oh, and Obi-wan and the Jedi Council think I'm dangerous. Technically I'm a nine year old boy but I've still managed to spook a bunch of Jedi. I won't lie, I'm very happy for the kid, managing that.

Today is really great, isn't it? Like, super great. ...Or maybe it's just me that thinks so.

I am still alive and everything is purrfect back to normal. My apologies to anyone I worried during my absence. It wasn't exactly within my means to contact anyone until now. No opposable thumbs, no ability to type.

I had a run-in with... someone with magical powers. I spent a few weeks licking my wounds, afterwards. Not to mention licking myself clean.

Well this week has been a shite week for Annie and I as far as dreams go. Should have known something was going to happen.
