So. Looking for a little help from you ladies.

I'm going on a date with this girl - lady, really - who's just beautiful. But she's kind of ... retro, I guess? She dresses vintage, her hair is in a vintage style and she likes old music. So my question is, my normal date gifts might not work for a woman like that. Any classic ideas? I'd sure appreciate it.

The only problem when I have nights off is that half the time I can't sleep because I'm used to overnights at the hospital. I've been laying in bed now for over and hour and I just can't sleep. Insomnia is the bane of my existence, I think.

Job applications are the worst.

I'm looking for something part time, that can fit around school work and rehearsals. So just a few hours here and there on the weekends, so I can have a little extra money.

I just want to give up and put "Hey I'm adorable, you should hire me" across all the applications and call it a day.

Apparently when I vanish off the face of the planet, I'm missed.

Maybe I should do it more often. I rather like being missed.

Oh my gosh you guys. I don't remember who it was that posted up that fashion post a few days ago, but I was doing some research around, and all of the fall colors are perfect on my skin.

I'm going to need to do all the shopping when I get there!

I was talking to someone with a dog named Garm last time I posted on here. Helja? Thank you so much for the moving tips. I've actually been pre-shipping some of my items and they've arrived safe and sound. We really need to get together when I land! Shopping and coffee dates and surfing! I have no surfing gear so I hope you can set me in the right direction for that.

I can't wait to get there. I hope you guys at the Croft house are ready for this!

So, I've been out gathering applications and such. It's quite daunting to look at the stack of papers but I'm going to try and get them out of the way today. I don't have anything else to do and the sooner I get the done, the sooner I can get a job, right?

Anyone have any useful hints when it comes to filling out applications? Things I should or shouldn't do?

Also, picture doesn't relate...just proving that better pictures of me and my bro do exist. :P

I'm Ichigo Kurosaki. Kurosaki Ichigo. Whatever way you like, I guess! This place seem strange enough, but I guess every new place must be getting used to it.

I'm happy to announce that my next project is finally coming along. There is still a long way to go, but it's underway and I should be able to make a formal announcement on it soon. I really think that this is going to be the next big thing. Much better than all those teenybopper vampire movies.

I've been so busy spending all the time I possibly can in the sun I almost forgot that school was about to start up. I've been to some of my classes and Uncle Ric, you'll be happy to know I've decided to at least go for the quarter. I don't know if I'll stick with it, but it seemed like mom and dad wouldn't have wanted me to not go at all. I can't let what happened to them keep me from living. That's what I keep telling myself, anyway, I don't quite believe it yet.

Good news, though -- it's coming up on the end of the month and I haven't had any Dreams yet! I've been Dreaming once a month for a while now, it's nice to go a month without any new ones. The one about my parents and the bridge keeps repeating, but I've almost gotten used to that. In some ways, it's just nice to see their faces again. I'd still prefer not to Dream at all, but I'll take what I can get.

Well, I managed not to break anymore doors with my temporary super-strength, and everything is back to normal now. As normal as it gets, anyway.

My new cat? Surprisingly unperturbed by the whole affair.
