Has anyone else seen this? What the hell did Renee Zellweger do to her face? I wouldn't have even recognized her if they didn't tell us who it was.

I may have adopted a kitten over the weekend and he is adorable! His name is Oreo.

Someone at work recommended I should watch the Sleepy Hollow tv show. So I've been watching it. It's not bad, I think it's a bit too obvious a lot of the time but I can see the appeal. Then suddenly there was a shot of Blake's The Great Red Dragon and the Woman Clothed in Sun, and I'm pretty sure I felt a bit nauseated.

Please tell me I'm not the only who's had things ruined because of those stupid dreams.

There really is no rest for the weary.

Just when you think everything's wrapped up in these ridiculous dreams, you end up getting your face ruined and wind up as a drunk in Florida.

I also found a letter on my desk today. In mauve stationary. It's not exactly polite to tell a man you hope he's not too ugly, you know. You know who you are.

Strangely enough, I find that the more violent and disturbing my dreams become, the more I turn to my kitchen for comfort.

Not comfort eating, exactly, but comfort cooking. I prepare elaborate meals at three in the morning, only to pick at a bite or two before disposing of it and returning to bed. Such a waste of good food, but I've never been a fan of left-overs.

Perhaps I should channel my energies into a dinner party.

I may or may not have stained my textbook with a pumpkin spice latte, at least it will smell good? You really can't go wrong with coffee or pumpkin! Definitely can't go wrong with pumpkin!

I just want to go to sleep. I can't keep seeing these things any longer.

Please Someone tell me I'm not crazy.

My therapist is dumping me on to someone else. I'm not sure if I should be offended or not.

Hmm. I wonder if my animal talking skills work when it comes to fishes. I was just thinking it'd be cool to tell a shark not to chomp on me if I ever met one.

I surf, it's not like I anticipate meeting a shark downtown or something.

I need to get some targets. The tree in my backyard is starting to look like mulch on one side and I don't want to kill it. So I think I'm gonna go this weekend and get some. Gotta find a hunting specialty store or something. I'm sure they'd have better stuff than a department store might.

Is there anyone with access to the federal database who could run a few names for me? The names are Beverly Katz and Georgia Madschen.

Does anyone have any contacts in the local FBI branch? Call it professional curiosity. No one in my office seems to have an "in."

It's come to my attention that I've been a part of this network for nearly a year now, and I still know so few of you here. I'd very much like to change that.

I just don't understand how my sister can't see what everyone else sees when they look at Damon. how she can't see that he's a bad person. He's manipulative and he's pretty much confirmed that he will probably end up exactly like he is in the dreams, which is a cold blooded killer. He's already threatened me in real life and broken my neck in the dreams cause he was upset that Elena didn't want him. He cheated on her with one of her friends and she's just gonna take him back. It pisses me off cause she's just leaving herself open to being hurt again. At least she agreed not to invite him over when we get an apartment. She still deserves so much better than him.

After watching this video, I feel like I'm dramatically indulging my dogs. Lucy just lazes about all day watching me work, and Colin is too busy chasing rabbits in his sleep to do much of anything. I've taught them to sit and stay, but that's about as much as they care to do.

Some days, Lucy doesn't even want to walk, she just whines at me until I carry her everywhere.

I seem to recall there were construction workers and/or bosses on this board. Would anyone be able to come to my house - soon - and reinforce the doors? Or, conversely, does anyone know a locksmith?

Lilo: Sleepwalking again. Wound up on the screened-in porch, which has the flimsiest door on record. As you can see, though, I'm taking precautions.

Sam will probably kill me but I'm looking into a concealed carry permit.

I don't recall being able to cook this well when I tried to make fish stew the other evening. Is it really possible to have a 'wish on a star' come true?

I think I'm going to try and cook Christmas dinner for my girlfriend.

I am amused that my girlfriend's reaction to the snow was to run outside with sugar water and food coloring, dump it on the front porch snow and eat it.

I'm finally in the Christmas spirit! I made my annual meat nativity! (It's just not Christmas without the meat nativity.) Don't worry, Hamlet didn't see it!

Fairly certain I had one of those dreams everyone talks about. Either that or I'm just having extremely odd dreams now.

I was a nurse at a hospital back home and watching over some coma patients; however, I had started seeing these coma patients outside of the hospital when I knew that was impossible. I took photos of them with my cell phone to try and show the doctors, but before that happened I was told to take a break. I was also dating this Scottish girl named Amy and I ran into her in the park with this man who called himself The Doctor. I don't know what he was supposedly the doctor of, but Amy seemed to know him and it turned out that there was an alien race orbiting the Earth, looking for another alien. In the end, The Doctor defeated the aliens or got them to leave or something and that was that.

Oh and I also found the phone from my dreams next to my current phone. Is that also a thing that happens? Mad dreams and random objects showing up? How is that even possible?

This eerie silence of voices is an odd thing to me. I do not like it. The world should be filled with joyous laughter, sobs of sorrow, hopeful cries, and simple conversation. Not this. Listening to it's lack is a thing that could drive a man mad.

I hope this one is over soon.

I don't like when I take a nap and wake up bawling. Thanks for nothing, you stupid dreams.

I find it somewhat intolerable to know that it's not considered socially acceptable to be straightforward about a lot of things. If we were, life would be infinitely better. Sure, it might cause hurt at the start, but then we'd know exactly how things were. We could move on quicker, heal quicker, be a bit more certain that we'd made the right choice.

I'm no one's knight in shining armor, but a lot of times I'd like to fix people and things solely to stop them from being a massive inconvenience to other people. Or me. I just know that this will end bad, and I just know there's nothing I can do about it except be Cassandra, telling it to myself over and over again as I stare at the ceiling, whispering it into the night.

I don't know what I expect to gain from this, really. Just ... letting it out, I suppose. If it stays in, it'll poison me.

One bonus of being stuck indoors while my thoughts were on display, was that I did a great deal of writing. I just turned in my next novel.

When did it get to be October? It seems as though time is just flying, dear listeners.

Who has fun plans for Halloween? I'm a big fan, myself. You won't be able to see my costume over the radio, of course, but I'll be certain to post pictures on the blog.

So far, being eighteen is amazing.

So, I'm thinking about adopting a dog since my place seems a little lonely. I've been wanting a dog for a while and now seems like a good time. I was looking at the OC Humane Society and there's too many cute dogs to choose from. I don't think I want a small dog, but the rest seem like they would be about the right size.

So, give me your opinions! You can check the dogs out here. And if there's one you really want to adopt let me know and I'll make sure not to adopt them. It's a win/win here.
