A note to those at Irvine General and the other hospitals who are working ... find time for sleeping for yourself please! I was awake for 26h without rest and my superior finally said "Anya, rest" because I fell asleep in a chair and my elbow fell off the chair, and I have now a huge bruise on my chin.

We must be healthy and rested to help people. And now I nap.

Living at a hospital isn't exactly fun. It means you are working even when you're not scheduled to work because you are always here. I have to say I'm glad most of my patients are doing well though.

On another note, I had some odd dreams last night. The first in a long long time. Recent events must have factored into it though because here was a lot of dead people in this sea side village. It was my job to "send" them which is really kind of like some kind of ceremony. Had the circumstances been different I would say it was even pretty.

I frankly don't think I'm going to get better. I'm exhausted, and my doctors simply seem baffled. I hate this. I'm sick of being useless. I'm too tired to even cast spells.

Does anyone on here know of a good estate lawyer?

I don't know if it's the lack of drinking or the fact I've got a boyfriend now or what, but the really vivid dreams came back again. This time they were bloody fantastic, though!

I had the same husband, but he died, and then I got his pirate ship. I was a looting, pillaging, crew-shagging pirate. They called me Queen of the Eastern Seas!

Why is it legal for people to drive while talking on their phone, doing their hair, and listening to that annoying shit they call music--and it's not legal for me to run them off the road?

I think everyone who works in a retail position during the winter holidays should get some sort of reward from the government or society in general. I'd take a footrub from a very tall, very muscular man.

Okay, anyone. Ten hour days in six inch heels. Not my best idea ever, but I have to keep up with the image of the store.

Some how I was able to pull the lucky straw and get Christmas off. That is the best present anyone can give me. You wouldn't believe how busy emergency rooms can be on the holidays... That being said, I hope everyone enjoys their families, friends, and holidays.

I feel odd saying this but this is the first time I've seen actual snow. We didn't get much of it growing up in Hawaii. I still had to find a way into work though.

For those of you who may not be near a window, there's a smallish meteor shower or a bunch of shooting stars happening. It's really beautiful. They say if you wish on a shooting star, your wish will come true.

So I'm... having some really screwed up and very realistic dreams. It's really screwing with my head a bit. For those of you having 'dreams' that you think are real? What makes you think these are more real than... say... a normal dream?

If another "well meaning" person tells me that I should "hurry up" and have children, I'm going to light them on fire.

Uhh. I've had some really shitty dreams and it's given me a lot to think about, like...I don't want to hurt anyone or anything. Do you think it's better to totally back off the people that I might hurt, go get some help from a shrink, or WTF?

I'm talking it's gotten into some really dark, really shitty stuff already. I don't want to get into details over the internet, but I do want to know how people are dealing with all this crap or if it's making them go crazy. Is there some kinda shrink pill they can give to make people stop dreaming?

I'm not good at talking about things like this. I guess it might be better to ask people I don't know.

I think I understand now what people mean when they talk about these dreams. They are so real. I dreamed I was on some tropical island, kind of like home, and I was studying magic of sorts. I became what they called a Summoner. A summoner because I could summon a type of magical creature.

I must have very overactive imagination.

Has anyone had a mad dream and then woken up and ... been capable of things?

I am really going to have to call my mum and make sure she hasn't taken up with some cult. I dreamt last night that she was in a cult religion of some kind with a lot of large horned men. Not horny men, horned. Like, ram horns on the head. And when I wouldn't convert, she sold me to a man.

Definitely not funny. I might have to look into what's giving me these mad dreams.

That said. I don't know if there's something I do, or just ask out loud - would anyone maybe be looking for a tailor? Either as a solo job, or in a shop or even a factory?

In the interests of full disclosure, I was recently let go from my previous place because I was apparently too direct in telling a very tall lady that cap sleeves made her look like a three year old girl.

Huzzah, I seem to have joined the masses. Another real-as-life dream in which I'm the star. Funny how characters from my real life have been transposed into my dreams, giving them insane credibility on top of just plain insanity.

I'm finally able to tell everyone the big news that I've known for a while: I've landed a contract to design lingerie for Victoria's Secret. Soon you will be able purchase my designs in malls across America. I am, of course, keeping my shop, but at the same time, I'm thrilled to go national.

Has anyone ever approached some of the people they've had these strange dreams about? How did they take it? I've been debating approaching someone with my dreams about them - rather boring, before the jokes start - but I don't want them to think I'm entirely mad.

Have you ever just been in an odd mood? Not quite happy, but not sad. And then you watch something, or play a game and for the rest of the day, you're just in a rut? Depressed?

Are there any good art stores around here? I find that I want to do some drawing or painting or something. I am not very good at it but it is a good stress reliever after a thirteen hour shift at the hospital. My walls in my apartment is kind of bare to.

I feel like now that I've had time to settle in I should start looking for a job. Is it really as easy to find a nursing job around here as pople say? I don't really mind the hours so much but it would be nice to work in a hospital with pediatrics. That could be a nice job. Though I think I will be looking for an ER position because that is what I am really used to.

Bailed out tonight, and the judge and everyone involved seemed to think I could probably plead Reckless Endangerment and get out of a Assault With A Deadly Weapon under the circumstances. Apparently a lot of people have been dealing with this kind of thing so it might be something they can push for lesser on.

It's official: ever since I stopped smoking, I've become a horrible priss about it all. I was just in a restaurant on Fairhaven and someone lit up just outside. I could barely breathe. Any other ex-smokers feel like this? It's starting to bother me.

For once I think it was actually smart to plan my layover through Toronto than New York. It meant no cancellations. I do feel terrible for those stuck in airports and I feel worse for the people being affected by this storm.

Plus side? I'm back in Orange county again. It's nice to be some where with indoor plumbing, a working shower, and fast food.
